Breitling ...the CBI went to the IMF a long time ago with the parliament and said we want to get the Iraqi dinar to a $1.17... That was the proposal. That's what they wanted and the whole world knows about it. It's out there. The other part of that is the CBI can revalue their currency anytime they want without parliament saying anything...the parliament wants the CBI to add value to the currency - correctly though. They're not begging them to do it, they just want them to do it correctly. The debate is the policy on how to do that...The CBI can add value to the currency any damn time they want...it's starting to narrow down and it's kind of remarkable...

Brian I have been in possession of Dinar since 2013. Never thought that it would take this long, but it is what it is. I have heard 'CONTRACT RATE, CONTRACT RATE, CONTRACT RATE" a thousand times over the last 3 years. IF, and that's a big IF there is such a thing as a "contract rate," and you go to do your exchange and you're sitting across from a banker or whomever and you mention contract rate, I'm thinking the majority of them will look at you like you have 3 heads. If anyone believes there is such a thing as the contract rate, in 200 words or less, how would you describe that to the person sitting across the desk from you at exchange time?

Brian MHO is that I feel Iraq's backs are against the wall. Nobody will be lending any substantial amount of money anymore. If something doesn't happen soon the country is in danger of imploding. I also feel that with all the money, and all the men and women that have sacrificed in Iraq, that the US will not allow Iraq to implode.

RodTahoe Researching the image of the 1 dinar note posted earlier, I have found the following information. The pic was posted by a Mr Anas Morshed on April 25, 2020. As a reminder this date was prior to the appointment of the new PM, which in my opinion has changed the stability in Iraq greatly. In his statement he says, not at the moment, so April was not the right moment, but hopefully it is the moment now, we shall see.
RodTahoe The idea has existed for a long time, but it is difficult to implement and I do not expect it will be implemented at the moment.
How can you settle this operation and what do you think about it?
Facilitate purchases and sales.
Reduce the carrying of large amounts of banknotes.
A positive feeling for the citizen with the strength of the dinar.

The Prime Minister's envoy and Minister of Finance Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi said on Friday that the trend is made up of three axes to develop relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and support the Iraqi economy.
Allawi said, "The aim of the visit to Saudi Arabia is to go through three axes to develop Iraq’s relationship with the Saudi side, the first of which is immediate cash support to the budget.
As for the second axis, it is to stimulate private Saudi companies and institutions, especially in the fields of energy and agriculture, and urge them to enter Iraqi markets through investments, The third axis is the activation of the commercial aspect. "
Allawi added, "Iraq has a plan to move towards achieving an economic and financial balance with neighboring countries, and that the Iraqi market be open to all, away from harming a specific party."
He continued, "The government seeks to urge Saudi companies to contribute to the reconstruction of the country," stressing that "Iraq needs immediate financial support in order for the government to fulfill its obligations towards employees."
Allawi stressed, "Many obstacles prevented investments in Iraq, including the laws and regulations in force, the loss of the incubating structure for foreign investments and the absence of banks at a global level, as well as the unpopular accounting and legal system, as well as the unpopular land acquisition system as well, all of these obstacles prevent the Saudi investor and any investor Another of the investment in other fields outside the oil fields, "calling for" the need to have an environment conducive to investment and the replacement of those laws and address the existing problems and obstacles. "
And that "the administrative apparatus in Iraq is now incompatible with the requirements of the foreign investor, and it also contains major violations of corruption and interference in the way of taking decisions from parties not related to the investment work, interfering for the private and partisan benefit which is one of the main obstacles that keep the foreign investor", He pointed out that "when the investor sees this environment, he will be conservative, and no matter how large the Iraqi market is, it requires encouragement from the private sector, which also suffers from these constraints."
On Thursday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi sent Finance Minister Ali Allawi to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on an economic mission.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated in a statement that “Minister of Finance Dr. Ali Allawi heads to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an envoy from the Prime Minister to discuss bilateral relations and economic conditions in the region and encourage investment.”

Ok here’s where we’re going in terms of our intel for tonight – you know Tuesday night I was getting things even after the call – which I always do - I was getting information that was making it look absolutely like this thing was going to go yesterday – or maybe today –
Well – what I ended up getting yesterday – last night – changed all of that - it changed the perspective – usually I have a perception of this could go on any given day based on the information – some days it looks like it’s a couple days away or it’s this or that – and then recently like Tuesday – it looked like we were going to get started on Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday – and I know I am not the only one who thought that – and then we’ve had people to say – no it looks like we’ve got it extended a few more days – Friday / Saturday –
Well I don’t have that and I will tell you why – When you get information that extends the timing – it’s not that much fun – but I have to tell you the truth – I have to tell you what it is that I’m getting and let you guys decide how you feel about it
So – one piece of information that I got last night said that the public – instead of starting on the second of June - was looking to start on the 15th – that’s the “public” NOT us – I call the public Tier 5 – there are not that many people in the public that are not paying attention to the Big Call or the notes that are brought out from the call – at least that is what I’ve been told – The public is not that large of a group anymore –
So – if the public is set now to start on June 15th – of course what am I thinking - what does that do for Tier 4B? What does that say for the internet group? When would we start? And the answer is ……. The earliest that we’re hearing – based on a call I will go in detail on - that I got last night – looks like the earliest date would be Tuesday AFTER Memorial Day – May 26th –
We got some information that was on a call last night with some very top notch people that are in control of this – people like Steven Mnuchin – The World Bank President – IMF representative – Finance Ministers of 8 different countries – Judy Shelton – It was quite a great group
Now what came out of that call – my understanding is – the question was post to Judy Shelton – “I thought you wanted this to go before……???? The end of the month? And she said…. We Do –
So I think we do expect this to go before the end of the month – as early as Tuesday for us – our country – other countries – they start up on Monday – we have Memorial Day – because it is only separated here - that gives us the 3-day weekend and we’re set to go – we HOPE as early as Tuesday – the day AFTER Memorial Day –
Now what is it that brought this about when we felt pretty confident about this going in the middle of this week like yesterday? Or today? Or even maybe by the end of this week for us? Well some things have happened with about 8 leaders of the Democratic Party in trying to delay this for us – by finding 6 states with Democratic Governors and Democratic strong holds in some counties that insisted that the redemption centers be redesigned and in some cases reconstructed so that the theoretical threat from COVID would not interfere with exchanges –
The six states we are referring to – the number 1 that offers the most resistance – is Michigan – the next and not in any particular order – Oregon – California – Connecticut – and New York (Bruce only listed 5 )
Those states are in a process now of redesigning / reconstructing the private offices that we’re going to use for our redemption – This is occurring in Michigan in 30 different redemption centers –
What we are seeing is a delay that for the moment this week is working because this needs to be complete and the other side of it is beyond that is that the other groups – since we are no longer under a true shotgun start – the other groups will go before us – That means the intermediate groups are supposed to be completed and believe it or not there’s quite a bit of activity out West – but I think the majority of that activity is probably the paying out or making the liquidity of SKR’s from Tier 3 –
I know that starting at 11:00 am Eastern this morning the groups were supposed to get underway – and when I say that – I am referring to the Core 30 and the other 120 paymasters for the Admirals groups are supposed to be starting to go today – tomorrow – Saturday – maybe all through the weekend - it could take those groups all the way through – all the way to Monday –
We know that if everything goes according to plan –Sunday that would usually mean rates on the screens before trading globally – at 8:30 pm Eastern when China/ Hong Kong start trading currencies our USN by the way – when that happens – then we should be on for Monday afternoon everywhere but here in the US – and so therefore 24 hrs later – Tuesday afternoon – would be our start time – That is the information we have today and last night on what the planning and execution of the plans are for us –
So everything is connected – 3 countries came in and connected to the QFS – all the Tier 4 and Tier 3 banks are connected now to the QFS and to having the USN on their screens - these little things that had to be done and we got waylaid – we got delayed this week –
I am not somebody who has really been political on this call and I don’t mean to be – but that is what the evidence is and you guys know if you’ve listened to news conferences and you’ve heard things where the resistance is coming from – so this is nothing new for you – if you are paying attention to the news – or some of the news – not all of the news – I know –
I believe everything is moving along but at a slower pace than we thought and now that we’ve had this hiccup that pushes us to Tuesday at the earliest – that is more than we would normally expect –
I know this much – this group of Big Call listeners are resilient - we are a people of faith – I know that we are able to take things in stride as we move forward – and I know this gives us adequate time to get prepared
I want everyone to have a great Memorial weekend – Grill & Chill – and enjoy the time with family and friends – practicing safe distancing –
I am encouraged but at the same time this was tough news to bring to everybody on the call tonight because it comes from the very top and I just have a feeling that these delays are not going to last – but this one worked – Be of good cheer -

Instead of husband or wife, the UN wants you to say “spouse.”

Oregon lockdown lifted... for a few hours
A judge ruled that Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s lockdown order could only go so far.
After 28 days, emergency decrees in Oregon require legislative approval. But Governor Brown did not receive that approval.
So a group of Oregon churches who were forced to close due to the shelter-in-place order sued the government. And the judge ruled in their favor-- the entire state lockdown was ruled illegal, and the judge ordered that it be immediately lifted.
But that only lasted a few hours.
Governor Brown immediately appealed the ruling and took it to the state’s Supreme Court.
While the lower court’s ruling wasn’t overturned, the Supreme Court did cave to the Governor’s emergency motion to keep the lockdown in place while the lawsuit continued.
Of course, the Governor could have just called the legislature back to approve her lockdown order… or perhaps she was too afraid that the voters’ representatives would take her newfound power away?
It was a safer bet to let the Supreme Court decide, since Governor Brown appointed five of the seven justices. Click here to read the full story.
Connecticut hires $2 million ‘reopening consultant’
There’s a lucrative new business opportunity in the Land of the Free: consulting state and local governments about how to re-open their economies.
How lucrative, you ask?
Well, the State of Connecticut has hired a consulting company to advise them on how to reopen the state after lockdown ends.
The state will pay a target of $2 million, which means it could end up being more.
But don’t worry, says Connecticut’s governor, because the state will likely be reimbursed by the federal government.
And why not?
The Fed is printing trillions of dollars worth of magic money.

New York tax revenue down $8 billion, or 68% compared to last April
Weird how when you shut down the economy, somehow the tax revenue stops flowing.
Tax revenue is down 68%, or almost $8 billion, compared to last April.
New York is now facing a yearly budget gap of $13.3 billion.
But New York did receive over $5 billion from the federal government’s CARES Act, and the city is already whining for more federal money.
Why did anyone ever work at all, when we could have just been printing money this whole time?
Restaurants are starting to collect customer info for contact tracing
Many American cities are considering forcing restaurants to collect information from patrons to assist in “contact tracing.”
That way, if someone who visited the restaurant is diagnosed with coronavirus, authorities can contact people who may have been exposed.
Customers must provide information like their name, phone number, address, and other contact information.
This is already required in some places, like Auckland, New Zealand. And it has already turned creepy.
One woman said she thought nothing of leaving her phone number, email address, and physical address at a Subway restaurant she visited.
Then she received a Facebook message, an Instagram request, and a text from a Subway staff member who wanted to take her on a date.
She was especially concerned because her home address was also available to the overzealous man.
And as creepy as that is, this is just one aspect of the privacy issues.
The government will also be able to track your whereabouts.
And unlike the creepy man from Subway, the government won’t let you ignore its advances.

Kansas City churches forced to keep records of attendees
It’s not just restaurants being forced to collect information on customers.
Churches in Kansas City, Missouri are now required to keep a list of church attendees.
That way, the state can look at the list for contact tracing if someone from the church tests positive for coronavirus.
The rule requires churches and synagogues to “record the names, contact information, and approximate entry/exit time of all customers who are on premises for more than 10 minutes.”

As for the second axis, it is to stimulate private Saudi companies and institutions, especially in the fields of energy and agriculture, and urge them to enter Iraqi markets through investments, The third axis is the activation of the commercial aspect. "
Allawi added, "Iraq has a plan to move towards achieving an economic and financial balance with neighboring countries, and that the Iraqi market be open to all, away from harming a specific party."

"
And that "the administrative apparatus in Iraq is now incompatible with the requirements of the foreign investor, and it also contains major violations of corruption and interference in the way of taking decisions from parties not related to the investment work, interfering for the private and partisan benefit which is one of the main obstacles that keep the foreign investor", He pointed out that "when the investor sees this environment, he will be conservative, and no matter how large the Iraqi market is, it requires encouragement from the private sector, which also suffers from these constraints."
On Thursday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi sent Finance Minister Ali Allawi to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on an economic mission.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated in a statement that “Minister of Finance Dr. Ali Allawi heads to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an envoy from the Prime Minister to discuss bilateral relations and economic conditions in the region and encourage investment.”

By doing that they were simply telling you that the launching of the economy - going international was and is waiting on the formation of the government...those articles came out immediately after they formed a majority of the government. They're blatantly telling you that the rate change of the economy is waiting on the formation of government...nothing is going to happen till they finish those last 7 ministers...That's the number one thing we're waiting on right now. MZ: So will the Debt jubilee apply to inter personal debts, civilian borrowers and lenders or just to corporate banking entities?
MC: My understanding of debt jubilees is they are basically with institutions. Your credit cards, mortgages …any commercial debt that you have …interpersonal…if its not in a contract I don’t see how they can enforce it.
MZ: if it’s a banking entity…they never had the money to lend you….they just typed in some zeros and convinced you to pay them for something they never had the money to loan you.
MCl: People are asking about Debt forgiveness …….i just want to say that this is not “debt forgiveness” . This is the zeroing out of a debt based on a fraud. It is not forgiveness , it is getting rid of fraudulent documentation and fraudulent activities. When you do that – you have no debts because it is all wiped away.
MC: All the financial activity from World War 2 on has been a fraud perpetrated against us as citizens by a small group of people who thought they could rule the world. .
MC: Their dream s in tatters right now because it is coming out who they are and what they tried to do….they are on shaky ground right now. They do not believe in the constitution or personal freedom…this debt was based on fraud.
MZ: Let’s call it debt nullification because it was never real to start with.
MC: Right now they are cleaning up a fraudulent activity that has taken place for decades. It is fraud…we have all be defrauded of money, our freedom and the pursuit of happiness because we are slaves to a fraudulent debt that has been forced upon us by those who want to rule us and keep us under control.

So who performs the functions of a central bank in these countries? Professor White cites private institutions, including clearing house systems, banks, and financial companies, as the main actors in the monetary systems of countries without a central bank.
Ultimately, Professor White concludes that the Federal Reserve is not necessary.
Evidence shows that nations can survive without a central bank. What the Federal Reserve does well can be done even better by private institutions, and the institution is capable of serious errors.
