ChrisC:  So, if an '08 style banking collapse happens, which we are most assuredly at the doorstep of, you think Trump or Congress will say here is 20 Trillion to resolve the issue, see you in another decade for 200 Trillion?

Understand that we are not talking about millions or billions to settle their debt.  We should all pray that they don't choose to do that because we will be on the hook for debt that we can't imagine.

What I hope is that they fail, Trump steps in and nationalizes them, we go to the bank and the only one crying is the banksters.

BillA:  It would be political suicide if the banking system collapsed right at this time and IMO they all know it including President Trump.   You should also choose your bank wisely. Look for a bank with little to 0 Derivative debt.

Jambie67:  I'm confused about the window: Tony mentioned that it made more sense to him for the RV to happen when markets were closed globally which would allow for a Saturday/Sunday release. But, he also said the Tuesday (tomorrow) window was still in play. Which seems more likely? Any logical guesses?   Just wondering if we should legitimately only be expectant on weekends

Crushr13:  From what I understand, Tuesday was good because Monday was used to recap for weekend transactions, and recap for the previous week's transactions. Tuesday opens a window for new transactions for the present week, which makes it easier for the banks, since they won't be so busy with stuff from the previous week.  That is my understanding about the windows.

JudiBlueEyes:  jambie67 I believe other than Monday any day is fair game. Don't expect anything typical. JIMHO
