MZ: ” Parliamentary Finance: Political Blocs do not agree to amend article 12 on the region’s oil” HCL gets its second reading on Monday …it appears there will be serious progress on the HCL. This is a case where the title of the article does not reflect the content.

Member: Thought HCL was Approved already a few weeks ago? They really do like to kick the can

Member: Second Reading on Monday ONLY if not postponed AGAIN

Member: Goldilocks said HCL was done and they were only waiting for 2 laws to be signed in quickly and we are good to go. I believe they were signed in already.

MZ: I am being told if the second reading goes well….they will immediately do the third reading …then Boom we will finally have the HCL.

Member: This is mental gymnastics because it was said that HCL had been already done. They had a second reading before last year. It seems like they are trying to throw off timing on this.

MZ: No updates on CMKX, Mr. C or the bond side yet today

Member: I heard a rumor that Sudani said the IQD would be worth $54 cents in the next 72 hours.

Member: At this point, I don't care what the rate is. Just get it done. I will make it work

MZ: I had not heard that tumor yet…but who would jump on it? I would sure think about exchanging and holding it in a multi currency account

Member: so you hold it in an account like that to just wait for an increase in it's value? Sounds good

MZ: In today’s banking world where we do not have parity (same rate values) currencies fluctuate against each other. If you hold currency in a multi currency account –held in the bank account as Iraqi dinars…..not US dollars. Then if the currency rate goes up…..my bank account goes up as well.

Member: If I could bring in 25,000 IQD and hold the rest for later I would jump!

Member: Still hearing no RV until after the inauguration.

MZ: It’s possible. Mr. C is of that belief. But my banking sources still believe there is a good possibility we will have a rate change this evening……..late this evening

MZ: if the news is so good after this evening…..I will be here tomorrow to let you all know.

MZ: It always was stated that the best time to do this was between 11PM est and 2AM est on a Saturday night into a Sunday Morning …so maybe?

MZ: But a number of bond contacts told me very clearly it will happen after the 21st or 22nd.

Member: Will we still get a contract rate on the IQD?

Member: would you explain contract rate vs exchange rate in simple terms.

Member: the exchange rate is for general public. Contract rate is part of an oil contract in Iraq that will pay a higher rate than public rate. We'll get the contract rate on exchange.

MZ: “Zimbabwe’s currency crisis worsens as illegal traders flourish” This is showing us clearly why they need to move forward. Zimbabwe needs the reset- for all of us to go for them to have the liquidity they need.

MZ: Yes- we spoke yesterday ….He is excited and I am also very excited…there is a lot of good news coming out of Iraq this weekend.

Member: Is this our week?

MZ: I’m hearing mixed signals on that. Some say it is our week and some say –not till after the 21st.

Member: if the rv happens around the 21st...it's STILL far sooner than the 35 YEARS that Mr C has been has suffered through. Cool your jets folks...it will happen!!

Member: Inauguration day is Jan 20th, Jan 20th is also Martin Luther King Day = markets closed, banks closed, govt offices closed etc. coincidence?? NOPE

MZ: “Using their heavy machinery –Basra Contractors Union threatens government with angry demonstrations and road blockages” And they are threatening to bring their heavy equipment to Baghdad in a week or two and block the streets. And who is helping them organize these things? Maliki.

Member: Why isnt Maliki in prison? I thought they were cleaning up corruption??

Member: Maliki's name says it all: MAL means BAD.

Member: Seems to me the Iraqi people would benefit most from an RV, what is the hold up!!!!

MZ: I believe the RV is “event driven. And they have to have enough events done before they pull the switch.

MZ: HCL is supposed to again be discussed Sunday in Parliament

Member: MARK Z. why is the HCL so important? Could there be a rate in it.??

Member: I believe The HCL Hydrocarbon Law and Article 140 is profit sharing for all Iraqi citizens to get a part of the oil proceeds. That’s one reason they needed the census a few months ago.

Member: I think the battle over HCL is misdirection

MZ: I agree…it absolutely feels like misdirection…..It feels like theatre.

Member: Maybe they are stalling until after the inauguration on the 20th?

MZ: I have talked to a couple Iraqi sources and they still believe this is it. They have contractors that they are in contact with that are suddenly being called in. I have one who will not tell me what the re-negotiated rate is on their contracts. One of them mentioned $3.91 but I do not know for certain if that is really it. Its from a contact I don’t know really well.

Member: $3.91 would be amazing…..fingers crossed.

Member: If we're going to gold based currency-I wonder how long does that take to switch over?

Member: Nixon took us off the gold standard with a stroke of his pen…..just sayin

Member: Bruce last night stated phone numbers are coming out today. He said he is absolutely calling it and that's was it. He also stated there was a big 2 hour meeting on Wednesday with all Bank and Redemption centers

Member: Pompey Peter said the RV date has been set and things seem to be slowing down after speeding up for a while because they're aiming events at the set date.

Member: Buddy Carter just introduced the Fair Tax act which abolishes the IRS and federal income tax and introduces a consumption tax!! Nesara!!

MZ: I have a call in for redemption center/redeeming bank contacts…to find out if they are working this weekend. They are “on call”

MZ: Silence from bond folks right now.

Member: I just got into dinar w/o any knowledge of it , I’m glad I didn’t have to wait as long as most. But the opportunity is definitely a blessing. It opened my mind to a whole new perspective

Member: Rumor is Iraq has to have an international rate by Friday in compliance with WTO

MZ: “Foreign remittances constitute about 94% of Iraq sales” They are showing us in articles how they are handling things internationally. Links or posted in my daily links .

Member: What about HCL and sanctions?

MZ: Rumor is HCL hits the floor of parliament this morning as they go back to work on it in the coming days.

Member: why don't they just RV instead of all these extra steps jumping through different processes to get by until they RV. Just RV

Member: Tonight would be great. The stock market is shut down tomorrow so there wouldn't be any impact to that if they go live tonight imo

Member: A friend says it could go on the 20th – and it would be a 3 day weekend.

MZ: I was told a 3 day weekend is the easiest…I do have some bond contacts now saying their funds won’t release until the 21st…after the inauguration. We will see

Member: Just thinking out loud here, is it possible to get the REER, on Sat and get paid on the 21st?

MZ: It is absolutely possible. Similar to how Kuwait did theirs….In a nutshell….Kuwait got a REER (Real Effective Exchange rate) and within 10 days we started exchanging.

MZ: I am getting some very yo-yoish news. There are still a number of banks expecting and being prepped for a rate between now and Saturday. I hope that happens.

MZ: It is confusing though because I have a couple of bond contacts who were informed by their paymasters that they would not distribute funds until after the 21st because they do not want the credit to go to the currency administration. That is what they are hearing.

Member: That makes sense to me…..less than 2 weeks away now.

MZ: But the banking side still believes its earlier….Groups have been silent for the last day or so. I believe its very close and the yo yo news means they are still doing their best to cloud the timing

MZ: What we do know is they are doing the preparations right now to make this happen.

Member: Hey Mark, please explain what Mr. C has to do with the Denar revaluation?

MZ: Mr. C has nothing to do with the dinar revaluation. His role is in the re-funding of the US dollar from fiat to asset backed . Those events appear to be tied together and should happen about the same time. He will be here tomorrow if you want to quiz him on that .

Member: Wife and I went to Chase discussed currency they accept and 2 weeks later getting emailed by their private banker to meet with him.

Member: I talked to my friend who works at fidelity. she said she think the market is going to crash but she's been instructed to tell ppl not to pull out.

Member: we're so ready for this movie to be over it's longest movie I've ever watched

MZ: Things are looking good and there has been a lot of activity today.

MZ: Suddenly a lot of banking contacts have been checking in. Which is exciting. I have had 4 confirmations today from banking contacts that I have known for years….they are telling me now to prepare for new rates.

MZ: One of them said “It looks like that thing you are expecting is happening by Saturday….New rates by or on Saturday” Stay calm though.

Member: Mike Bara just posted....before the 10th

Member: Just saw the Dinar on Forex Mark... It's there and my Banker from Chase called me and let me know to be prepared.

Member: Anything new on the Zim?

MZ: Rates are still expected to be between $33 million to $50 million per 100T note. Still hearing $330K per $1 billion on Agros…..I hope Its correct.

MZ: “Sudanese directs to finance the Kurdistan region with more than 176 Billion Dinars” Sudani keeps sending it but rumor is the Maliki crew is causing problems . But it will not cause any delays for us I was told. Expect a lot of craziness on the boards in the coming hours that its Sudanis fault. But I was told quite clearly by contacts I trust that Sudani is not the issue.

Member: so will Maliki be the excuse when we are entering February...he has been for numerous years…

MZ: “There is no fear for the regime in Iraq as long as America and the Marjuryas are satisfied. Government towards independence” They are telling you things are great as long as Sudani and Trump stay on the same page

MZ: This morning I just didn’t want to do anything…..no podcast. I just feel so bad for him and his family and friends. He always tried to do his level best to help people get through this. It is very sad to lose another one before the finish line. With great sorry we remember another one that has gone before us. RIP Ed. We will end this morning in prayer for Ed and his family and those who are still fighting to see the finish line.

MZ: This was a big kick in the teeth today.

Member: So sorry for your loss. Do you think the RV will happen before the 10th? Others say it will?

MZ: We hope it will happen before the 10th. There is a lot of stuff pointing to it possibly happening before the 10th. But there are a growing amount looking now for it to happen after the inauguration. Then it will let rip.

MZ: I am very surprised at the number of folks in Iraq who now believe that they will position things in Iraq now that Trump has been confirmed….and then release the RV after the inauguration. But, my best sources still believe it will be before then.

Member: I always thought the private groups ect could go before….but the general public not until after the new administration takes charge.

Member: Mark if they did it the 10th that would give them the 10 days of darkness and give us 10 days for us to get in and out ?

Member: It at least seems like things are speeding up in January... but still wondering how much has to happen before "FULL DISCLOSURE" - wonder if the folks with the triggers are too afraid to go before.

Member: any news on bond holders?

MZ: Most are expecting it anytime between now and the 10th…A couple are not expecting anything until the 11th or 2th.

MZ: Some group leaders do not believe they will be able to distribute funds until after the inauguration on the 20th.

Member: That makes sense to me. Why would the Trump administration want the biden admin to get any credit for resetting the world finances and the new QFS system…..they would not …imo …I do not expect anything until the new administration takes over.

Member: Wolverine posted a short video of Charlie Ward and his family flying to Doha, Qatar with the song “ It’s the most wonderful time of the year” . Does it have any significance?

Member: Have you confirmed lower denoms have been released in Iraq?

MZ: No confirmations. There are some in Iraq telling us they are out- but no confirmations. I have seen pictures but do not know if they are old lower denoms or new ones.

Member: Jennifer and Mike both said we should start soon

Member: Charlie Ward said it will not happen until a new administration is in place. He may be right.

Member: Indonisia just joined BRICS…FYI

MZ: In Iraq: “Former MP(Member of Parliament) : Amending article 12 paves the way for enforcing the oil and gas law”

MZ: “ Iraq Central Bank auction sells 100% foreign remittance of dollars” We are getting an idea how the new system works. 95% of what they are selling is going abroad for goods and services….they are tracking it through their new system. It’s kind of a hybrid system…It’s interesting.

MZ: “Former director of the Central bank of Iraq clarifies about the current decline of the dollar” He says its not a decline…just coming into equality and the spread in the parallel market is shrinking and not growing …and Iraq going international is doing what it is supposed to do. People are starting to trust the system.

MZ: “Top 10 Arab countries with foreign exchange reserves for 2024: This is the rank for Iraq” Number 1 is Saudi Arabia ….#2 is the United Arab Emerites…..#3 is Iraq. Iraq has enough assets to pay for every single dinar in circulation…with money left over. This is enormous.

Member: Guys we are right at the door of this thing Revaluing. My guess is it happens sometime this month.

MZ: I agree.

Member: I think there is enough chaos going on right now to hide the RV for the public.

MZ:I agree….glad you and I are paying attention.

MZ: I just want to warn you all of scammers out there. I have a great contact at Interpol that we send information to about people offering QFS accounts right now. That is a scam. One used my email address which is similar to my real address with an addition I in it…2 I’s in original…....its not spelled right. People are trying to get you to send a couple hundred bucks to get a QFS account.

MZ: You CANNOT get a QFS account yet. The new system has not started. Anyone saying differently is a scam. Fortunately Interpol is starting to go after these companies WORLDWIDE. For the love of God people. Do not fall for this. Desperate people are being preyed on left and right.

MZ: When the new system is ready you will not have to pay for an account. All of our accounts will be on it.

Member: Stay safe everyone…especially those in California in the path of wildfires.

Member: Things will get better……stay positive.

MZ: It’s been an exciting morning…..Been proving and disproving pictures of lower denoms. Some are posted by trolls….some are pictures from other countries and some may be legitimate. We have been “vetting” this morning. We have disproved some of them…..

MZ: There is a good chance one of my Iraqi contacts will be sharing pictures of the new Iraq $20 note today . We do not want to get folks hopes up falsely. So doing more vetting today. The conversation in Iraq is small denominations /notes. Why would they release small notes unless there is a value change?

MZ: Bond updates have been coming around 2-3 in the afternoon lately. Hopefully we have something fun to tell you tonight. I had 2 bond contacts yesterday who are looking to have their final contracts paid on or before the 10th.

Member: Mike Bara said yesterday he has been told just now bonds do not have to go liquid before we get notifications. Could that just mean we won’t hear about it because it’ll be so close?

Member: Or we wont hear about bonds because they are NDA’s…

Member: So no bond news??? What happened to Indian nations????

MZ: No news from Indian Nations.

MZ: Nothing new but I think this is where we will get a big break in news this week.

MZ: Now here’s some news from Iraq. “More than $275 million in the bank sales of foreign remittances” They are still selling some currency – and I was told is part of the de-dollarization in Iraq.

MZ: “Iraq Stock Exchange lists the third issue of Enjax trading bonds” These are Sovereign bonds. This is targeted for the small invester…not the big guys.

MZ: “Iraq Stock exchange witnesses a 9% during early hours” they are dominating and so far this has been a good year for them.

MZ: “Special: Iran gives Sudanese a green light to act on the future of the factions” Iran will no longer arm factions inside Iraq. This is a major shift towards stability for Iraq. Sudani will be traveling to Iran tomorrow.

MZ: This also means the Iranian currency may be coming out of some of its sanctions. The Iranian rial may be in play again.

MZ:I am hearing ya….This will be a short one this evening…just not much news

Member: As the Auctions continue- the saltiness grows.

MZ: I had a good article on that yesterday . The current auctions are strengthening external balances in banks. They specifically said they are strengthening the exchange rate.

Member: do you see the Iraq dinar going by itself?

MZ: I know there are some that claim that…..but I don’t think so. My sources still think its going at the same time as the rest of our currencies.

Member: Nader just posted 1170 IQD per one Us dollar

Member: is the dinar floating?

MZ: its floating in the parallel market in a direction that supports us. It was 1500 a few days ago in the parallel markets which mean we are watching the dinar gain value in the free market. They are changing how auctions work and want us to know why..

Member: Things in Iraq are very confusing….guess that’s the way they want it.

Member: IMO-Iraq is in a holding pattern waiting…. due to the mess in the US.

MZ: on the bond side – I had 2 contacts check in and they are expecting funds over the next 4 days ….so per their update today – between now and the 10th. Final contracts this week. This is encouraging because it fits with everything else we are hearing.

MZ: We are praying they actually get payments this week- because you and I are right behind them …or at the same time. When they start getting their money- our notifications should go out.

MZ: No news from groups today….that was disappointing. I was hoping to get some check-ins from large tier 4a groups.

Member: Rumor that Chase bank put out a memo on the IQD and payments under 10,000 IQD are not supported???

MZ: Well….under their current system –when the value changes it will not count at all on the limit….they are talking about 10K worth of transfers. What you should be excited about is they have a mechanism in place to deal with the IQD. They are clearing telling us…and if you look through their list of currencies- it includes almost every single one that many of us in this community have picked up. I think you should be excited and not worried about this. .

Member: Al-Eqtisad News", stated that "the financing of the salaries of civilian and military retirees and social care for the current month of January has begun."

MZ: Auctions in Iraq have been occurring. I was told by a contact over there that this is the final part of their de-dollarization.

MZ: “The Iraqi dollar and the first day “passed peacefully” The Central Bank is innocent and free for the dinar” According to Iraqi Press today is the first day without the auctions. I am feeling good about auctions ending which should mean a new rate.

MZ: I am told Iraq was reducing their reserves to de-dollarize the market. This in anticipation of a rate change.

Member: Mark, we simply love Iraqi rumors on RV dates and rates. It keeps us going lol

MZ: “Central Bank Tower and Grand Faw Port in the list of mega projects in the world for 2025” on the list of mega projects around the world…2 of them happen to be in Iraq. This is not a country going nowhere….They will be increasing their value. The dinar and Iraq is about to have a renaissance…..and increased value.

Member: Mark, have any of your bond contacts that have gone silent in the past resurfaced?

MZ: Bond Guys: I am expecting a number of updates throughout the day. European contacts are back in their seats today. First time since right before Christmas. News should start flowing this afternoon.

Member: Difference between banks and redemption Centers?

Member: Redemption centers are in redeeming banks…..and will have enhanced security for high wealth individuals. This is required for the very large exchanges that are expected. Also rates may be much higher.

Member: I will be glad when a lot of the rumors/lies are shut down

Member: Good Morning and welcome to another weekend

Member: What good news for us on the first weekend of the new year mark?

MZ: What I am hearing on the bond side is they are expecting their payments on the 7th, 8th and 9th. This is from the majority of my bond contacts. We are hopeful this time it will actually occur.

Member: Those poor historic bond folks ….They are victims of “the boy who cried wolf” just like us.

MZ: it appears a lot of stuff is positioned in this process. Maybe waiting on congress and confirmations?? Is it a coincidence?

Member: they are supposed to certify the election and Trump as President on Monday…..that could be big.

MZ: Seems like a lot of scheduled to start on the 7th after the certifications on the 6th. Maybe it’s a coincidence and maybe it’s not.

Member: Maybe things are positioned for a “shotgun start” after the 6th???

MZ: Still quiet on CMKX …but there are a number of groups who are also positioning for this week. Hopefully for actual payments. They were told to “be prepared to execute” meaning to make sure accounts are ready and know the exact figures.

MZ: I am hopeful and think that at the bare minimum…information will start to get much better….starting midday on Monday. The holidays really cut into getting information.

MZ: In Iraq-It appears the final step in de-dollarization is happening..…that is what I was told…although my one contact told me to not worry and this is de-dollarization before the change. …but, The central Bank of Iraq is claiming they sold one billion in 4 days. They keep saying auctions have stopped but we are seeing evidence they are still moving foreign currency. We are not sure what is going on – but we are watching it. Things are quite confusing.

MZ: “The Iraqi government succeeds in removing 10 billion dinar from the corrupt in 2024” more good news.

MZ: “ Government Advisor: The growth rate of non-oil GDP during 2024 is unprecedented” Its great to see non oil revenues sky-rocketing…this will help support the value of the dinar.

MZ: ”Within a week, Iraq surpasses Saudi Arabia by exporting 212,000 barrels per day to America” more that twice as much as Saudi Arabia. This is huge.

MZ: “Oil and gas law is the salvation of the outstanding files between Baghdad and Erbil” this discussion is really hearing up again. Along with smaller notes discussions and HCL discussions. They want us to know the Oil and Gas law will solve all outstanding problems.

Member: Articles are all sounding the same as last year…..Maybe Iraq is stalling while waiting on the US to get their act together?

Member: Don’t give up everyone…it will happen SUDDENLY

MZ: Historic Bond news is still mostly MIA. I did get 2 check ins and both have said they expect their funding on the 7th. Most have previously said between the 2nd and the 9th. I think we are under way and watching the roll out.

Member: Trumps presidential certification is on Jan 6th…Maybe they are waiting on that???

Member: Mark…were these bond contacts who are receiving funds on the 7th the same bond guys who went to Zurich a few days ago? Wondering if they did their paperwork and their money is just liquid on 7th.

Member: Rumor: The new recalculated dinar rate was given to the US Treasury. The United States has been paid in full by Iraq. The US has lifted all remaining sanctions on Iraqi banks

MZ: That is certainly the rumor floating out there. I am trying to pin it down 100% so we sll feel good about it.

Member: Frank 26 saying Iraq is in DC and paid the United States of America

Member: I read that Iraq was in Washington yesterday or Wednesday, and met with Treasury and Trump.! Made sure we were paid, for our part ,you know the 35 Billion !!!

MZ: That’s the rumor….pinning it down has been tough.

Member: Last night Bruce said everything was cleared to go and notifications should be launched out this weekend

Member: IMO-it's been known for some time by the PTB that Iraq would go from rags to riches due to their many resources and the war's end and would be the savior if the world's economies.

Member: Iraq has 3 days to tell forex once they change it. This is what I heard.

Member: Where will the new rate show first?

MZ: Good Question . If it follows in Kuwaits footsteps –it will quietly be released. Maybe people will do some exchanging and then it will show publically on forex. But, In today’s world and the speed of the internet- my guess is we will all see it at the same time …You guys will probably hear it first from folks like me and then we will be able to look at it …That’s my opinion.

Member: The Kuwaiti government announced the revaluation of the Kuwaiti Dinar on March 24, 1991

Member: If we go first before the general public –it would possibly show on Forex for the public shortly after?

MZ: “ Central Bank adopts monetary strengthening mechanism to ensure financial stability in Iraq” This is now going through the banking system. Its goal is to stabilize exchange rates and ensure monetary supply to stablalize growth in the long term.

Member: Al Saadi to the Maalouma agency , “the platform was a form of control imposed by US Federal Reserve and its cancellations allows Iraq to return to the banking system that was in effect before 2003”

MZ: A much more modernized of that banking system…but that is correct. My best contact who I trust due to the position he holds in Iraq….says de-dollarization is under full steam and they expect a new rate within a week or so .

Member: My sister assisted in the forming of their new government Constitution. My brother told me to buy and hold dinar! My sister said it would revalue once all agreed debts were paid!

MZ: This article is about Syria – but its published in Iraq: “ Will deleting zeros end the collapse of the Syrian Pound?” A key piece is they state they need 20 years to recover from the effects of the war. But economists believe that strengthening the national currency may not take 2 decades and they may reach that goal within 5 years. They may as a first step delete zeros from their currency

MZ: its been a little over 20 years since the fall of Saadam Hussein in Iraq……very interesting.
