"What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been" by Dr. Dinar

.What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been

by Dr. Dinar

To be honest, that's putting it mildly.

Whether it be ten months or ten years, if you've been on this ride for any length of time, then I'm sure you can definitely relate.

At this point I'd be willing to say that a long, strange trip is putting it mildly.

This roller coaster ride of an adventure has taken us through more ups and downs than a kid eating cotton candy while riding a pogo-stick on an ice rink.

With that being said, when it comes right down to it, regardless of how stressful this journey has been, I couldn't be more grateful to have been made aware of this opportunity oh so long ago.

.a dr.dinar pic.jpg

Having been involved for a decade or so, my two week stress test of hoping my first batch of Dinar would arrive in time for the RV seems beyond a mere memory.

Yet the angst is forever fresh in my mind.

Will my money order arrive in time?

Did I send the right amount?

What did I use for a shipping address?

Heck, did I even remember to put a stamp on it?

All of that brain bending mumbo jumbo, basically freakin' out that I might have somehow made a mistake on my order and my two week pre RV window will have slammed shut before I can repair the damage.

Luckily none of those issues were a problem and my order arrived right on time.

Actually, closer to about a decade or so too early.

But who's counting.

To date we've gone through more windows than the Trump Tower NYC has and as of now, still no GCR.

So much for my purchasing a warehouse full of Windex.

These windows don't last long enough to need cleaning.

At this stage of the game, with all of the false alarms along the way, the highs definitely aren't as high.

Then again, the lows aren't nearly as low either.

That's not to say that I don't still experience some of the ups and downs of this ride but nowhere near to the same extent I used to.

Most of those ups and downs are now created by life itself and its seemingly endless barrage of bummers.

No need to add the stress of the as yet to happen RV/GCR to the list.

I wouldn't say I'm completely jaded, thinking the RV will never happen, but I will say that I no longer fall for the "it's goin' down this weekend" every weekend hypium that used to drain me week after week.

I now find myself in a place of extreme gratitude.

Frustratingly mind numbing gratitude?

Yes, I'll grant you that.

Yet, gratitude nonetheless.

Now, you may be thinking I've lost my mind?

Face it, you've got to be a bit crazy to even be involved in this thing

But hear me out.

Sure, this has been anything but a walk in the park.

Not even close to fun.

As the ol' saying goes, If it was fun, everybody would do it.

At the same time I can't help but think about all of the people that don't have the slightest idea any of this stuff is even going on.

And for that reason alone, I'm grateful to belong to this Secret Society of the Toothless Crackheads.

I'd have to believe I'm not the only one that tends to get wrapped up in Dinarland, thinking that everyone in the outside world must know about the currencies and the RV/GCR.

Yet, if you step back a bit, you soon begin to realize that very few people truly have a clue about any of this.

They continue to be so wrapped up in who's going to be eliminated next from Dancing With The Stars and wondering who's going to be the next Masked Singer.

The global economy, foreign currency and anything that goes along with that world couldn't be any further from their minds.

And that's easy for me to relate to as I too used to be one of those same out of the loop, comfortably numb people.

Much more concerned with how I was going to rebuild my life after having lost everything in the Econocrash of 2008 than anything going on in some dusty sandbox half way around the world.

Yet, for better or worse, through an extremely strange set of occurrences, here I am.

Smack dab in the middle of Dinarland.

Without a paddle no less.

Could I have imagined myself in this very spot over a decade ago?

Heck no.

I had absolutely no clue whatsoever about any funny money other than Monopoly money.

And let me tell you, I was never any sort of a Monopoly whiz.

But if it wasn't for this crazy colored wallpaper, I wouldn't have any hope whatsoever of rebuilding my life.

I'm continuing to drown in ever increasing debt, yet I still consider myself to be one of the lucky ones.

Yes, you read that correctly.

The lucky ones.

As you shake your head from side to side, just think about that for a second.

Think about the millions and millions of people around the world swimming in that same debt, losing more and more of their lives with each passing day, having no real hope of rebuilding their lives.

No RV/GCR to look forward to.

Now, ask yourself, how lucky do you feel?

Do I wish the RV would have happened years ago?

You better believe I do.

Let's hope the rumors of higher rates due to an extended wait also become a reality.

Luckily for me I KNOW it will happen eventually and I couldn't be any more grateful that I'll be there, front and center, bangin' down... oops, I mean waiting patiently outside the Abbot Downing door when it does.

So if I can make a suggestion to anyone else out there who may be struggling with the weekly letdowns, relentless rumors and beginning to lose hope in this ever happening.

Just hang in there a bit longer.

Think about all those weekends you thought you'd never make it through and low and behold, you're still here.

Still in the game.

Stronger for having gone through it.

Hungrier than ever for a short, not so strange trip to one of the rumored 4,000+ Exchange Centers located within an 80 mile radius of our homes.

And not a minute too soon.

Kindly,

Dr. Dinar

Disclaimer; I'm not a Wealth Manager, Financial Advisor, CPA, Tax Attorney, RV/GCR Committee member, nor am I the owner of the awesome RV in the photo. I'm simply someone that chooses to believe in the power of positive thinking and on the odd chance this thing truly is real, I want to make sure I'm there at the finish line to enjoy it.

Why Having a "Vent Buddy" is Important to Your Health

.Do you have a Dinarland “Vent Buddy”?

Why having a ‘vent buddy’ is important to your health

Having a vent buddy is so important to one’s well-being

It’s that someone you consider a reliable friend whom you can go to whenever you want someone to talk to whom you know won’t judge you

Having a friend who listens to you no matter how overwhelming your rants or situations in life are is undeniably good for you and your health. So, keep that friend.

As a woman, especially when you’re already a mom, it is inevitable that at some point, you go through a series of tough situations which you try to bottle up until you could no longer handle them.

As a woman, especially when you’re already a mom, it is inevitable that at some point, you go through a series of tough situations which you try to bottle up until you could no longer handle them.

.a Vent-buddy.png

This is when calling a friend or a “vent buddy” comes in. A vent buddy is someone you consider a reliable friend whom you can go to whenever you want someone to talk to whom you know won’t judge you. That someone is the person who would listen to your woes no matter how serious or petty they are; a friend, a relative or even a sibling. Who comes first in your mind?

According to experts, having a “vent buddy” is good for your mental health. Here are some of the reasons why:

It will help you cope

With a vent buddy you are able to release your bottled up emotions and rants in life. A study in 2009 showed that opening up to someone and disclosing your thoughts and struggles to that trusted someone would help you cope and lower the tensions you feel within. Notice how someone’s mere presence could already calm you?

Most of the time when we are emotionally wrecked and physically tired, we feel that we are alone in the battle but having someone to talk to would instantly make us feel that we’re actually not alone.

Someone out there will be willing to help and listen with empathy. There will always be that buddy friend who understands and cares for you…even when you’re at your worse mood.

You will see a new perspective

Talking to a vent buddy would help you see things through a new perspective. Your vent buddy can simply help you realize what you have been doing wrong (if there are) without having to sugar-coat their words.

You will be able to practice empathy

Remember that you are not just the one experiencing tough things in life; your vent buddy might also be going through something and being able to interact with him/her helps you practice empathy. As each other’s vent buddy, you are able to help each other in staying mentally healthy.

And if you’ve got more than one, that’s good! An extra pair of ears would be just fine.

Happy Presidents' Day! Ranked the 5 Best and 5 Worst U.S. Presidents Ever

Happy Presidents' Day! Ranked the 5 Best and 5 Worst U.S. Presidents Ever

Here is how one expert made his picks. Did Trump or Obama rank? Take a look.

By James Jay Carafano

Historians and journalists often churn out lists ranking the U.S. presidents. Typically, these rankings do little more than reveal the politics of those compiling the list. If you want objective assessments of the past, we can do better.

First, let’s be honest. Presidents are not responsible for everything that happens in America. Ford beat Ferrari without help from the White House. Presidents shouldn’t be given credit or assigned blame for everything that goes right and wrong.

Further, presidential action is a mélange of domestic and foreign activity. Add up anybody’s four years in the Oval Office, and it’s a bit of a fruit salad.

Ranking NCAA basketball teams make more sense. And while you might not agree with all the bracket assignments, at the end of the day, it’s all decided in a championship face-off game. You really can’t do that with presidents. No one can organize a death match between Franklin Pierce and William Henry Harrison.

While precise rankings might not have much credibility, it’s worth pondering who should be lumped into the top bracket and who can be consigned to the losers circle. After all, there is a credible standard to apply. Presidents who handled existential threats to the nation ought to get top grades. Presidents who dragged us down get bupkis.

First, let’s look at the winners.

After all, there is a credible standard to apply. Presidents who handled existential threats to the nation ought to get top grades. Presidents who dragged us down get bupkis.

First, let’s look at the winners.

#1. George Washington

If not for Washington, today we pass the 4th of July sipping tea and noshing scones. Okay, that’s probably an overstatement. America was likely destined to be independent. But, we wouldn’t have gotten off the ground in 1776 without George, and he bailed us out again by crushing the Newburgh Conspiracy in 1783.

And that was all before he made president. Throughout his two terms, Washington’s steady hand steered a fledgling nation through many perilous shoals, as documented in “Washington: a Life” by Ron Chernow (2010). The value of getting a new country headed in the right direction: priceless.

#2. Abraham Lincoln

Saving the Union is always a strong addition to your resume. Lincoln managed to win a war against an enemy army and master fractious politics in Washington that included everything from backstabbing generals to rioting in the streets of New York. If you don’t believe me, read Doris Kearns Goodwin’s “Team of Rivals” (2005).

#3. Franklin D. Roosevelt

Remember that fruit salad? It’s hard to be a much of fan for how FDR handled the Great Depression after reading Amity Shlaes “The Forgotten Man” (2007). But Roosevelt was an unmatched war president.

The man helped save not just America but much of the world from one of the greatest threats humanity—and the cause of freedom—have ever known. That’s got to count for something.

#4. Ronald Reagan

He didn’t win any big wars. Still, it can’t be denied he set up winning the Cold War. Paul Lettow’s “Ronald Reagan and His Quest to Abolish Nuclear Weapons” (2005) explains how the Gipper handled one of the most dangerous and important issues of our times.

#5. Dwight D. Eisenhower

Another near great, Ike doesn’t get near the credit he deserves for setting America on a responsible course that allowed it to survive the Cold War until Reagan came along. See “Ike's Bluff: President Eisenhower's Secret Battle to Save the World,” by Evan Thomas (2012).

And now, let’s turn to the biggest losers.

Washington’s Four Essentials for America

By Andrew Cannizzaro FEB 14, 2020

George Washington Gave America This Advice the First Time He Tried to Retire

The American Revolution had just come to an end. George Washington, 51 years old and then the commander in chief of the Continental Army, had resigned his duties and wanted nothing more than to retire to his estate at Mount Vernon and study his crops.

Before he stepped back, though, he had some hard-earned wisdom he felt compelled to share with the country. So in the summer of 1783, he drafted his “Circular Letter to the States,” in which he detailed what he believed it would take for this American experiment to succeed.

In many ways, it was a precursor to his famed Farewell Address 13 years later, a prescient warning to the country of the most likely political pitfalls.

Not that he was angling for the job of leading the transitional new nation. After seven years in the battlefield, Washington wanted nothing more than a respite from public service.

“Notwithstanding my advanced season of life,” he wrote in a letter to Colonel Henry Lee, “my increasing fondness for agricultural amusements, and my growing love of retirement, augment and confirm my decided predilection for the character of a private citizen.”

'With our fate will the destiny of unborn millions be involved'

But Washington knew that America had arrived at a momentous crossroads—a place of both great promise and great peril. While the colonists had won the Revolution, a formal peace treaty had not yet been signed with Great Britain. The state governors were wary of handing over any power to Congress, and a wartime army had the daunting task of transitioning back to civilian life. Not to mention, the war had saddled the fledgling nation with massive debt.

With those hardships in mind, General Washington drafted his “Circular Letter,” in which he detailed what he believed it would take for this American experiment to succeed. By June 21, 1783, the letter had been sent to all state governors, but Washington was speaking directly to the people of America through his words.

“It appears to me there is an option still left to the United States of America. That it is in their choice and depends upon their conduct, whether they will be respectable and prosperous, or contemptible and Miserable as a Nation.”

Washington appeared to believe that winning the war would be meaningless if the people of America did not do something with their newly achieved freedom. How Americans chose to act in this moment, he felt, would reverberate for future generations: “For with our fate will the destiny of unborn millions be involved.”

Presidents' Day 2020

.Presidents' Day 2020 History.Com Editors

Updated:Feb 14, 2020 original:Oct 26, 2010

Presidents' Day is a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February; Presidents' Day 2020 occurs on Monday, February 17. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, the holiday became popularly known as Presidents' Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act, an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers.

While several states still have individual holidays honoring the birthdays of Washington, Abraham Lincoln and other figures, Presidents' Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present.

Washington's Birthday

The story of Presidents' Day date begins in 1800. Following the death of George Washington in 1799, his February 22 birthday became a perennial day of remembrance.

At the time, Washington was venerated as the most important figure in American history, and events like the 1832 centennial of his birth and the start of construction of the Washington Monument in 1848 were cause for national celebration.

While Washington’s Birthday was an unofficial observance for most of the 1800s, it was not until the late 1870s that it became a federal holiday. Senator Steven Wallace Dorsey of Arkansas was the first to propose the measure, and in 1879 President Rutherford B. Hayes signed it into law.

The holiday initially only applied to the District of Columbia, but in 1885 it was expanded to the whole country. At the time, Washington’s Birthday joined four other nationally recognized federal bank holidays—Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving—and was the first to celebrate the life of an individual American. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, signed into law in 1983, was the second.

Uniform Monday Holiday Act

The shift from Washington’s Birthday to Presidents' Day began in the late 1960s, when Congress proposed a measure known as the Uniform Monday Holiday Act. Championed by Senator Robert McClory of Illinois, this law sought to shift the celebration of several federal holidays from specific dates to a series of predetermined Mondays.

The proposed change was seen by many as a novel way to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers, and it was believed that ensuring holidays always fell on the same weekday would reduce employee absenteeism. While some argued that shifting holidays from their original dates would cheapen their meaning, the bill also had widespread support from both the private sector and labor unions and was seen as a surefire way to bolster retail sales.

The Uniform Monday Holiday Act also included a provision to combine the celebration of Washington’s birthday with that of Abraham Lincoln, which fell on February 12. Lincoln’s Birthday had long been a state holiday in places like Illinois, and many supported joining the two days as a way of giving equal recognition to two of America’s most famous statesmen.

McClory was among the measure’s major proponents, and he even floated the idea of renaming the holiday Presidents' Day. This proved to be a point of contention for lawmakers from George Washington’s home state of Virginia, and the proposal was eventually dropped.

Dinar a scam?????

We've all heard investing in the dinar is a scam:

If there is a scam going on, it is the dream stealers trying to rob you of hope.

If there is a scam going on, it's the US govt, Iraqi govt and others holding back info ... delaying ... the inevitable. But post RI you'll be praised for your insight into this investment by the nay-sayers. (Hindsite investors).

You want an example of a scam? Play the lottery. The odds of winning are astronomically against you. That scam plays on the hopes of the un-informed, or desperate, seeking great rewards without understanding the odds. Governments make unimaginable dollars preying on lottery ticket buyers.

Dinar a scam?????

If there is a scam going on, it's the US govt, Iraqi govt and others holding back info ... delaying ... the inevitable. But post RI you'll be praised for your insight into this investment by the nay-sayers. (Hindsite investors).

You want an example of a scam? Play the lottery. The odds of winning are astronomically against you. That scam plays on the hopes of the un-informed, or desperate, seeking great rewards without understanding the odds. Governments make unimaginable dollars preying on lottery ticket buyers.

Whereas investing in the dinar, we can attempt to track international politics and become somewhat educated on our investment. We are talking the currency of a resource rich country torn by a former dictatorship, war and civil unrest. In time, this will RI/RV happen. Maybe not when we expect it, and maybe not in the manner we expect it, but the value of the Iraqi dinar will rise.

And eventually, we will see our financial rewards. But with the lottery, as those little balls keep tumbling, the odds of winning never get any better, and you never gain any additional insight on what numbers to pick, and you have to keep buying more tickets for a fresh "chance to win."

We've all heard it's risky:

Bunk. The most you can lose in dollars, is the amount invested, and that is only if you actually lose your dinar. That is right ... if you misplace the currency. After all, most currency sales sites have a buy-back policy, right?

Does your financial planner or 401K manager have such a policy? 'Fraid not.

You want to talk risky? Buy into the stock market, without educating yourself. And what can you really learn from a prospectus? And remember, most financial planners are commissioned salespersons. Ask them if they make their living on their commissions, or on the results of the products they invest their clients money into. You'll be shocked by this scam.

Let's say you timed the market well, and bout General Dynamics a few years ago at about $35/share. And now it is about double that. Forget trading fees, ... you doubled. So if you had purchased 5 shares, for $175, you would now have ~$350. Remember these numbers. Double your money in the stock market ... but limited realization in terms of dollars gained, but the limited number of dollars invested initially. 100% rate of return in one year.

How about SSI? Counting on this for retirement supplement, now that's another risky government scam. 'Nuff said.

\How about Real Estate? Let's compare it to purchasing dinar. Build a spec house for 200,000 and try to market it for 300,000. That is a 2:1 ratio. Or buy a foreclosure house. Say EFMV $150,000 purchased at auction for $100,000, plus holding costs and closing costs, so max realized gain is maybe $50,000 - again a 2:1 ratio.

But you may hold longer than anticipated, (more expense) and lower your selling price and only make $25,000 - now you’re at a ratio of say 5:1. That is saying that for every $5 invested, you only made $1. If in the example, you are upside down in real estate, you've invested 150,000 and got out at 125,000. Now you have lost $25,000. Now compare that to the dinar. In the dinar, you only risk what you invest, and to that I take you back to buy-back policies. Further, you did not have to start with a $100,000 investment to try to gain $50,000.

How about buying an estate property below EFMV, and needing to sit on it for three years before reselling it. Even if a profit is gained, the rate of return annualized needs to be divided by three. And was there a positive or a negative cash flow on that property for the three years you held it? Again, compare that to the dinar. The only argument against the dinar here is that the amount invested was stagnant while you held it.

And if you had the amount of your dinar purchase in a CD right now, could you get 2% return? I doubt it. And to get 2% you're probably looking at a 5 year hold. 'Nuff said.

We've all heard negative news soundbites:

The few soundbites I've heard were so trite, they were laughable. That's not journalism ... it's sensationalism, not credible research. It's been the blind leading the blind.

What about how long we have to wait for the RI to exchange.

If you are in an employer based retirement system, how long do you have to work, in terms of years, before you become retirement eligible? And what kind of return do you get? Do you know how to track it? Have you done your homework there? Now that might be a risky investment ... a lifetime.

Oh, you don't have an employer based retirement system? Okay. Then look into your Roth or traditional IRA or other "paper assets" in your portfolio. What did you say? You don't have a portfolio? Or did I just hear you say your portfolio was cut in half in the past two years, as well as your annual earnings? Wow. That was a risky investment, ... very risky.

We've all heard it's an pyramid scheme:

Go to work tomorrow to your JOB (just over broke). I'm all for capitalism. I believe in rewarding those that take the calculated risks, those that create jobs for others, those that stabilize local economies. But when you look at the company ladder, well, there is your pyramid at it's best.

There are the nay-sayers that say the only ones making money on the dinar are the sellers, Well, time will reveal the truth on that point of contention.

So let's talk dinar.

100,000 dinar mailed overnight from Some Currency sellers was about $140, + 24 UPS fee, + $1 for the money order = $165 invested. This is a relatively small amount to invest in anything.

Presently the rate is about $1=1170 IQD, or $0.0008547/dinar (less than 1/10th cent per dinar). But with shipping, etc, ~= $0.000165 (a triffle above 1/10th cent per dinar.) So we'll call it $0.001 = 1/10th cent per dinar.

If/when there is an Re-V/I/D, look at the numbers. We've heard lows of 1IQD at $0.86 to highs of $3.86. For easy math, I'm just using RV at 1 IQD = $1. That means you $165 investment is now worth $100,000, pretax. Okay, you'll have some expense to exchange ... minimal in big scheme, but may take your total investment to say $500. So you turn $500 into $99,500 (pretax).

You did not have to risk investing 1,000,000 to make a potential 100,000, or $125,000 to make $25,000.
. Better yet, you were not excluded from the opportunity to make this $100,000 because you lacked the $1,000,000 in cash or credit to invest.

And if the increase in the dinar on the currency exchange boards is a gradual float, and not a spike from an RI (not saying this is likely) you will have to decide for yourself when to cash in. But in this scenario, all it needs to do is increase to 1 IQD = 1 penny, and you have a ten fold return on investment, grossing $1000 on a $165 investment. Have your financial planner or realtor or banker deliver that return! Not gonna happen.

Still skeptical? Stay with the gradual float. At a dime, cash in on 25,000 dinar note. Gross $2500 - $165 + fees and tax so say you clear $2000 How is that for a rate of return? Initial investment of $165, net $2000, but n0pot done yet ... still holding 75,000 IQD and you're "playing with house money." The rate of return calculated on any gain, is infinite ... because you already made more than your initial investment on the first cashout.

Now who cares if you have to wait a few years for a float to reach $3.00+. So $3.22 x 75,000IGD = $241,500 (pretax) is pure profit. Understand i am not an advocate of a gradual float, and favor an RI, but wantedd to include it in this post, for the negative nellies to chew on as a worst case scenario. I'll take that return!

Compare the dinar to CDs. No comparison.

Compare the dinar to IRAs/MFs/stocks/bonds, etc. No comparison

Compare the dinar to the lottery. No comparison. How can I say that? In the lottery, the numbers predicate the number of winners, typically one, if any per drawing. But with the dinar, all that exchange are winners. Thus, again I say, no comparison.

Compare the dinar to real estate. I've had great returns and can even mathematically show you infinite rates of return, but for the vast majority of people, real estate transactions returns vs the returns on the dinar investment, well ... no comparison.

Further, how many across the globe are in trouble financially as we speak, because they thought their home was their biggest asset, only to now realize that their mortgage and over-leveraging is eating them up, both financially, and emotionally.

Compare the dinar to pension plans. Took you 20, 25, 30, 35, etc years of your life, and you can only receive pension payments as alloted, under someone elses discression. So, ... no comparison.

I'll conclude with these thoughts.

For the negative nellies that say you were scammed when you bought into the dinar investment, with the $165 they did not invest, they may have purchased them something else.

Lets say they bought dinner and a movie for two, or some clothes they'll only wear a few times ... So when your investment is eventually worth (Example only) $99,500 pretax, I hope they enjoyed the dinner, movie and clothes that now cost them ~ $99,500.

And I'm not done yet. Let's say you pay your taxes and tithes, and then pay off your remaining mortgage, freeing up that $650/mo payment for the next 180 months of your life. Look at how much "not buying dinar" now cost the negative nellies.

So I'm willing to give up a night out with my wife and new shoes. In fact, the reward potential in my household said ... what else can we postpone pre=RI, ... to not have to postpone life any longer?

If you followed all the way through this post, thanks for reading. I needed to vent.

I needed to take the frustrations of listening to negative vibes and multiply that with negative reasoning, to produce a positive outcome.

Distracted By A Lack Of Distraction by Dr. Dinar

Waking up this morning I couldn't help but notice that something was different.

Couldn't quite pin it down but it was just a feeling I had.

A gut feeling that something was out of the norm.

Checked my bank balance and nope, still broke.

So that wasn't it.

Thank you Dr. Dinar

Waking up this morning I couldn't help but notice that something was different.

Couldn't quite pin it down but it was just a feeling I had.

A gut feeling that something was out of the norm.

Checked my bank balance and nope, still broke.

So that wasn't it.

.a dr dinar 2-2.jpg

Checked my emails and nothing really stood out as being different.

Yes, there was mention of something called a Palindrome Day. (Link)

My first thought was it had something to do with Drones.

Perhaps Drone Owners and their pals were celebrating the invention of the drone.

Honestly, I'm not really up on the whole drone scene so I didn't pay much attention.

Not at first anyway.

Then after I read up on it a bit, I thought oh, that's kinda cool.

But honestly, after seeing hundreds of those "This will be the last time this will occur for the next 900 years" declarations, only to see yet another one occur the very next month, it really didn't trigger my radar.

Nope. There had to be something else going on here.

Something else that made today different.

That somehow made it special.

Still couldn't put my finger on it.

Finished up reading my emails and going through the rest of my routine.

And a huge part of my daily routine is my morning walk around the block.

Or should I say blocks.

Every day (Well, every day that it's not horribly horrible weather anyway) I cruise the neighborhood to the tune of just over 3 miles.

Sure, it's nothing major but like they say, I'm lapping everyone that's still on the couch.

So at least I'm doing something towards improving my health.

Or at least maintaining the status quo.

I have a daily route, a routine that offers a bit of uphill, mixed with some downhill, lots of flatland, culminating in an uphill grade that gets me back to the front door.

I don't always feel that great when I leave, battling the endless reasons (aka excuses) as to why I shouldn't go.

Too busy.

Too cold out.

Too whatever.

At the end of the day, all of them are excuses.

I know I need to do it and I know that every time I complete the journey, I'm glad I did it.

And today, with the exceptionally glorious weather we've been experiencing, the excuses were in short supply.

Which made it that much easier to grab my phone, earbuds, sunglasses and I was off and walking.

As I mentioned I have a routine route and along the way there are various markers that serve to remind me of where I am in my journey.

I have a good idea of where Mile Marker #1 is.

Where Mile Marker #2 is, and so on.

Not that I'm struggling to reach the finish line at that point but it's nice to know how far I've walked.

Oh, who am I kidding.

By about Mile #2 I'm definitely feelin' it.

Okay, REALLY feelin' it.

So with each step I take, even though I know I'm making progress, I can feel myself breathing harder.

Come to think of it, I can hear myself breathing harder.

Even with my earbuds in, listening to the latest replay of a well known Dinarland conference call, I can still hear my labored breathing.

Heck, at that point, it almost feels like I can hear my hair growing with each inhale and exhale.

Let's just say the last mile or so isn't quite as easy as the first couple miles were.

And lemme tell ya, they weren't anything even close to easy.

For some reason it was just about that time that it dawned on me just how similar my daily walk is to this whole RV/GCR thing.

What we thought was difficult a decade ago, in retrospect, was the easiest it would ever be.

It was all about Iraq.

Only Iraq.

Nothin' but Iraq.

All Iraq. All. The. Time.

No if's, and's, or Zim's.

Although we didn't know it at the time, things were about to get a whole bunch more confusing.

As we continued to trudge along the RV/GCR path, uphill, downhill, along the cliff's edge, we were continually presented with one distraction after another.

Some ready made.

Others, not so much.

Many of these so called distractions seemed to be there for our benefit.

Causing us to ponder the question, "Are we really that important?"

And by "we" I'm referring to us Dinarians.

Could we possibly even be on anybody's radar?

Enough of a blip to which they feel as if they have to constantly keep the confusion coming our way.

Keeping us in constant Mushroom Mode.

Meaning constantly keeping us in the dark, continually feeding us ****.

While on one hand I'd like to think we're that important to this entire endeavor.

However, on the other hand I believe we're just an afterthought.

A result of the internet doing what it does, connecting people on a global scale, all from the comfort of their couch.

I don't believe that we were ever a concern.

We were simply Peasants that morphed into Toothless Crackheads.

Nothing more.

Fortunately we were able to grab our seats on the Insane Train just before it departed the station.

I don't know about you but despite the overwhelming length of this journey, I'm still ecstatic that I purchased my ticket for this ride.

Speaking of ride, as I neared the 2.5 mile marker, I began to daydream about my new ride.

And by new, of course I'm referring to my post GCR dream car.

At this point, anything even close to new would be a dream come true.

I certainly can't afford to purchase anything right now.

Nope, I'm still driving my 30 year old truck.

Thankfully it's still running but I'll be more than happy when the day comes that I can afford an upgrade.

Even if only to make it up grades that much easier, as well as more reliably.

Constantly worrying if every ride will be my last isn't the best way to live.

Yet, at the same time, I still consider myself fortunate to have a vehicle at all.

Many people don't.

And as I made my way closer to the finish line I began to hear an odd noise.

Couldn't tell what it was at first, nor where it was coming from.

What I did know is that the noise was getting louder.

Which meant that whatever it was, it was getting closer.

Before I knew it, the noise came roaring by me.

And as it did, it just as quickly got quieter.

What was this odd flapping noise?

Well, as it turns out, it was a passing car.

Nothing extra odd about that.

But what was different were the two flags, one above each rear side window, flapping away at breakneck speed.

That's it!

It's Sooperbowl Sunday!

To be honest, I'm not much of a football fanatic.

Sure, I'll watch the playoffs and such but that's to be said for baseball as well.

The rest of the season leading up to any sort of playoffs, not so much.

And as the car continued on its journey, flags still flapping away, it dawned on me that this is the first year in I don't know how many years that the Sooperbowl hasn't been mentioned as THE distraction.

The BEST TIME EVER to release the GCR.

How odd is that.

From the first year I got involved in this whole RV thing this Special Sunday was always one of the biggies.

One of those ready made perfect storm days.

The ultimate Distraction Day.

Well, I don't believe it's the perfect distraction day simply because the rest of the world doesn't care about today being special.

Contrary to popular opinion, I also don't believe they need a distraction of any sort prior to releasing the GCR.

I think that people tend to think that the entire world is laser focused on the arrival of the GCR and the crumbling of the global economies world wide.

Again, I disagree.

I think that if you're a currency holder, then of course you've got your eyes peeled, brain laser focused.

Especially if you're in a position anything close to mine, holding on with your last cuticle, hanging somewhere between a wing and a prayer.

Then you're even more focused.

But the other billions of people around the world that don't hold currency?

Not so much.

They have bigger and better things to concern themselves with.

Or so they're being told to think they do anyway.

Thinking back, prior to my first currency purchase, I couldn't have cared less what was going on in the world of global economics.

I'd just lost everything in the market crash and my stress was focused much closer to home.

Or better said, on the loss of my home to be more exact.

And I think that's the way it is today.

If you're not involved with the currencies up close and personal, then you'll never even know anything happened.

In my opinion this will be the biggest non-event to ever not hit the lamestream media.

The GCR will be released, likely in the middle of the night and not even the owls will know it happened.

We will all be notified within a day or two.

Set up our appointments, exchange our currencies, and be on our merry way.

We'll start our new lives, paying it forward, and the rest of the world won't be aware that anything even happened.

There might be a news blurb or two talking about the newly minted dollar bills that they're seeing out there but similar to the release of the new $100 bill, it will be a big whateva.

People will go on living their lives just as they always have, none the wiser.

Only us in the know people will know anything has changed.

As I rounded the corner, driveway in sight, I took pleasure in knowing that my journey was nearly complete.

That I'd just about reached the finish line.

Which also caused me to think about the GCR and how much I hope that we're nearing the finish line.

Already being a month into yet another year that we should never have been starting off broke isn't the greatest feeling, that's for sure.

But at this point all we can do is continue to hang in there and ride this thing out 'til the very end, knowing that with each passing day we're that much closer to seeing our dreams materialize.

This game has to end sometime, hopefully sooner than later.

Hang in there folks, don't let the lack of distraction distract you.

For all we know the rumors of us being closer than close really are real.

We simply have to reach the finish line, making sure to finish strong.

Kindly,

Dr. Dinar

Where Would We Be Without Our RV Friends

by Dr. Dinar

Okay, so where are we now.

Nearing the end of the first month of yet another year that should never have been.

Not in terms of waiting for the GCR to pop anyway.

Nope, this should've all been over and done long ago.

Speaking of long ago, when I got into this whole shindig of shenanigans the rumored  back wall that was being passed around was Nov. 2013.

And at that point there was no way that was going to happen.

I mean, how could it drag out that far.

.a dorothy.png

That meant years beyond anything anyone could even fathom.

And with everything we were hearing at the time, this thing was just about to pop and we'd be lucky if our first order of dinar arrived in time.

The hints were everywhere, impossible to ignore.

Heck, even if you weren't involved in the RV of the IQD you couldn't help but see how Iraq was on the road to recovery.

On the way to being Iraq again.

Only this time a much better example of itself.

Not to mention their freshly installed Made In The USA Government.

They simply could not lose.

And so of course, neither could we.

We knew everything about the RI in Kuwait.

How they lied to everybody about not even being close to returning.

Not anywhere's near a rebuilding of their infrastructure.

Let alone their monetary situation.

And then Poof, in the cloak of darkness, they were brought back to where they were prior to the sanctions being imposed.

Almost as if nothing ever happened.

Yeah, it was almost that quick.

Unfortunately most of us weren't along for that ride.

But we saw the evidence of it, whether we knew it or not.

Mostly in the satisfying of our National debt as well as the surplus of funds during the "C" administration era.

And there we were, sneaking in the back door to Iraq's rinse and repeat version of Kuwait, how could we lose.

With big time Corporations like Haliburton building miles of oil pipeline and if I recall correctly it was Citibank (the original Bank that was to be in charge of the monetary side of things) clamoring to get involved.

B of A came along after that, only to drop the ball and be denied as well.

It wasn't until late 2010 or early 2011 that rumors of Wells Fargo entering the picture began to manifest.

Not to mention Verizon promising to get Iraq's communication situation back on track.

China and its promises to build thousands of homes and miles of infrastructure and a whole list of other biggies, all clamoring to stake their claims, we were golden.

How could we not be.

All we had to do was wait.

And wait some more.

Okay, so we waited a bit longer than we wanted but the news was sooo good that we knew we were right on top of this thing.

All we had to do was continue to wait.

We simply could not lose.

Well, nothing but our patience.

Or our minds.

And speaking of waiting, back in mid 2011 rumors of Wells Fargo acquiring Abbot Downing began to surface.

Which wouldn't have been a problem except that it wasn't going to happen until April of 2012.

Say what!

Another year away!

Say it ain't so.

This thing was ready to pop NOW!

Not a year from now.

Of course, it didn't pop and Wells went on to acquire Abbot.

The only good news in all of that was that Abbot was known for only dealing with clients who held $50M or more.

So, logically of course, knowing the state of the country, still reeling from the market crash, there had to be a method to this madness.

Which served to further fuel our belief in the validity of the GCR.

After all, if the GCR wasn't real and really about to happen, then there certainly would be no need to get involved with Abbot.

Gotta love logic and common sense.

And so we resumed waiting.

And as we waited, the rumors continued to flow.

Which, honestly, helped to keep us in the game.

Similar to now, we couldn't prove any of them to be true.

But by the same token, neither could we prove them to be false.

The only thing we could do was treat the rumors as hope.

Meaning hopefully they were true and hopefully they meant we were close.

As time continued to roll along and the RV of the IQD took a back seat to the globe engulfing GCR, the rumors continued, morphing to fit a strange new global event.

This seemingly unknown thing called the GCR or better known throughout Dinarland as the Global Currency Reset, began to take center stage.

I only mention known throughout Dinarland because at that time there wasn't a trace of any of it, rumors or otherwise, outside of Dinarland.

Which also meant that as the RV landscape changed, not only did we have to turn up the volume on our powers of believing in the unbelievable, the cast of characters that were bringing us the rumtel had to change their M.O. as well.

How could they not.

Week in and week out, their storylines continually reaching a crescendo, there was simply no place for them to go other than to the far reaches of the Earth.

Either that, or exit, Stage Reno.

Some chose to continue trudging forward while others hit the road, off to greener pastures filled with free energy, colloidal silver, tea and a host of other homemade remedies.

Which allowed others to take the GCR stage.

And just as everyone in Dinarland is different in their own special way, the Guru's themselves all brought various flavors of their own.

Some pleasant, some not so much.

All of them, while extremely similar, delivering their messages in their own way.

Were the messages always positive?

Heck no. Anything but.

Some were just downright harsh, stating that this RV/GCR would never happen.

They, nor their sources, couldn't see it.

Therefore, it wasn't real.

Sheesh... talk about unbelievable.

Of course, we chalked that up to their own inner frustration and disappointment, nothing more.

They were only saying what many of us were feeling.

Difficult to fault them for it.

If you can honestly say you haven't wanted to scream at the top of your lungs at some point or another along this journey, then you're obviously in a group of few.

Honestly, that's been one of the most difficult aspects of this entire journey is the need to keep it all under wraps.

Continually internalizing, not letting your frustration get the best of you.

As well as keeping that info from all of the naysayers, those that have doubted this too good to be true so called scam straight from the start.

The last thing we need is to have them think they were right.

Because I still don't believe they were.

And I hope for your sake you don't either.

I continue to remain convinced that this GCR is the real deal.

But that doesn't make it any easier.

For most of us we're stranded on an island of our own, only able to vent to our RV/GCR friends that are also involved in the currencies, most of which want to scream right along with us.

If not even louder than we do.

Have we had a few mutual ventathon's along the way?

That I can neither confirm nor deny.

Only our neighbors know for sure.

One thing's for certain though, the less you say now, the less you have to explain away after the fact.

For me, keeping it lowcognito is the way to go.

No, I'm not making the trip to Las Vegas after the fact and no, I'm not going to be wearing any Super Special t-shirt either.

I'm going to gladly sign my NDA and be on my way, Secret Society status intact.

On my way to helping friends and family, yet none of them will be the wiser.

They'll simply think they're on a lucky streak, as well they should.

My community will benefit greatly as well.

Not to mention many people I will never meet nor ever know.

But I will know inside that because of my continuing to wait it out, others will reap the benefits in monumental ways.

For many years to come.

I'm more than anxious to begin paying it forward as well as paying it backwards in terms of saying Thank You to all of those that have helped me throughout my life and more importantly, throughout this journey.

Because if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be where I am, still hanging in there.

Despite all of the seemingly endless hitches and glitches and delays.

I hope you're continuing to hang on as well.

I still continue to believe this is real.

And I believe it's really going to happen.

I just haven't a clue as to when.

I don't think anybody does.

Not even the folks rumored to be furiously working on this thing.

So at least we all have that in common, which means we all have friends in this thing.

Even if we have yet to meet them.

Hang in there folks, for all we know it's almost over.

Kindly,

Dr. Dinar

Thoughts from DJ: "We Don't Know What We Don't Know" 1-13-2020

.DJ:  DID YOU KNOW?

If you have been involved or have participated in the GCR/RV/Prosperity Program sagas for any period of time you most likely have felt the ridicule and questioning of your sanity by family and friends.

I personally have quit even trying to explain it simply because it falls on deaf ears. People reject what they do not understand because it makes them feel small.

They would rather believe in some other reality so long as it makes them feel bigger. People reject truth because it undercuts what they wish was true and despise or discredit anyone who offers a different version of truth than they are prepared to accept.

DJ:  DID YOU KNOW?

If you have been involved or have participated in the GCR/RV/Prosperity Program sagas for any period of time you most likely have felt the ridicule and questioning of your sanity by family and friends.

I personally have quit even trying to explain it simply because it falls on deaf ears. People reject what they do not understand because it makes them feel small.

They would rather believe in some other reality so long as it makes them feel bigger. People reject truth because it undercuts what they wish was true and despise or discredit anyone who offers a different version of truth than they are prepared to accept.

In an era of stress and anxiety, when the present seems unstable and the future unlikely, the natural response is to retreat and withdraw from reality. The only people that can't handle the truth are those that suffer so much anxiety that they will live in denial, in order to prevent their illusion from being destroyed and feeling more anxiety.

There are times when we all have questioned our own sanity and wonder if we are delusional in believing this blessing is coming. But consider there was a time when going to the moon was a delusional concept. Because this event is not following the prescribed time frames, we all wish it would follow, does not mean or indicate it is not happening.

Our individual sense of urgency does not negate the reality of the changes about to transpire. Those that do not understand it or have not been educated on what is transpiring will ultimately deny its existence. Do not be disheartened. The proof is overwhelming that these events are taking place.

When we find whole communities suddenly fix their minds upon one thing it may seem they are going mad or delusional in its pursuit. But when millions of people become simultaneously impressed with one delusion, and run after it, is how change occurs and what is thought to be delusional becomes reality.

When enough people understand reality, the cabal tyrants can literally be ignored out of existence. We must understand we are all part of the whole community of humankind and not just the individual. The real delusion lies with existing within the status-quo and denying the reality of our fractured global financial system in order to cope with the reality and anxiety of that reality. It is far better to grasp the world as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed and even if good fortune brings you your tomorrow, there is no guarantee those you love will be a part of it.

Do not squander your precious, limited time. Value what love you have in your life; nothing is more valuable. Make it known to only those who matter.

Don’t worry so much on the opinions of others, it can cause you to live disconnected in a world of your own and that is never a good thing. Today's truth will be tomorrow's lie or today’s lie with be tomorrow’s truth. That’s the way of things. But don’t let it leave you questioning your own sanity.

Pretty much all sources have stated that funds have moved and are positioned for distribution. Understand that this movement of funds is digital.

The release codes that will change these digital accounts to value backed, spendable money are predicated on numerous variables that are beyond the view of the public as a whole and will never be visible until it is.

We don’t know what we don’t know.

The good news is we wouldn’t see the positioning or movement of these digital accounts if weren't about to begin. The only thing left to do is sorting out various international political issues and taking the bugs out of the financial delivery and monitoring systems.

How long that will take is anyone’s guess. It has to be right the first time. Once the milk is out of the bottle there is no putting it back in. I would rather wait and have it done right then hurry it up and get it wrong.

In the meantime don't be pushed around by the fears in your mind or the opinions of others. Be led by the dreams in your heart. Be brave to stand for what you believe in, even if you stand alone. Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.
