OneGroundhogI haven’t been on here in a long time. Sounds like the same old story.

RVAlready:  It is not the same old story. We are now pretty sure that the CBI is ready to push the button. They will do so as soon as parliament votes in a new president of the republic. In other words, we may be days away from the RV.

RVAlready:  It had to happen. There are treaties and agreements insisting that it happen. And now, the people of Iraq are getting angry that it hasn’t happened. So, it has to happen.

RVAlready: I have a feeling that the people will overthrow the framework, and force the parliament to accept a president of the republic acceptable to the people very soon.

CaliforniaSugar:  Zmbabwe has gold coins in an effort to move away from use of the USD. Even more countries are announcing the return to the gold standard - Saudia Arabia, Nigeria and India. Saudia Arabia and India are part of BRICS. My guess is that Nigeria will join as well.

Speedy:  They may call it the gold standard, but there is nowhere near enough gold in all the World to cover for the paper currency that is in circulation !!!   I think asset backed currencies is a far more accurate term !!!
