Customs Revenues Exceed 104 Billion Dinars During The First Half Of 2021

Money  and business   Economy News – Baghdad   The Customs Authority announced, on Thursday, that it achieved a remarkable increase in its revenues exceeding 104 billion dinars during the first half of this year.

The media of the General Customs Authority said in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the Customs Authority has achieved a remarkable increase and rise in its revenues achieved during the current five months of this year, which amounted to (104,681) one hundred and four billion six hundred and eighty-one million dinars, compared to the previous months. Same from the previous year.

Parliament Adjourns Its Session

The Kurdish Delegation Returns To The Region..Talabani: Very Close To A Final Agreement

Time: 06/03/2021 00:11:41 Reading: 5,070 times   {Political: Al Furat News} The Kurdish negotiating delegation returned to the Kurdistan region, Wednesday evening, after its meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and a series of meetings with the federal government in Baghdad.

The head of the delegation, Vice President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, said in a tweet on Twitter, "A while ago, we returned from Baghdad to Erbil. We are very close to a final agreement on a mechanism for implementing the budget law."

He added, "There are good intentions from both parties, and compliance with the text of the law will have a positive impact on the financial situation in the Kurdistan Region, and will direct relations between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region towards a new stage."

The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, met on Wednesday evening with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, to discuss the mechanism for implementing the financial budget law for the year 2021, and sending financial dues to the Kurdistan Region.

The two parties renewed, according to a statement by Talabani's office, "their affirmation of their commitment to the budget law, in order to solve the accumulated problems, based on the law and the constitution, and to create a continuous and long-term mutual understanding."   LINK

Oil Prices Continue To Rise For The Third Day Amid Expectations Of Higher Fuel Demand

Thursday 03, June 2021 11:15 | Economic Number of readings: 281  Baghdad / NINA / - Oil prices rose for a third day, today, Thursday, amid expectations of a rise in fuel demand, especially in the United States, Europe and China, while major producers maintain supply discipline.

Brent crude futures rose 40 cents, or 0.56 percent, to $71.75 a barrel by 04:58 GMT, the highest since September 2019. The international benchmark rose 1.6 percent on Wednesday.

West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 39 cents, or 0.57%, to $69.22 a barrel. .

The consensus among market expectations, including the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies, better known as OPEC+, is that demand for oil will exceed supply in the second half of 2021, spurring the latest price hike.

OPEC + data shows that by the end of the year, the demand for oil will reach 99.8 million barrels per day, compared to the supply of 97.5 million barrels per day. /     https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=907791
