Potentially hazardous items you'll need to move yourself
Batteries
You may think your batteries are harmless, but they have the potential to become little, toxic fire starters. Sitting in the back of a hot truck can cause them to combust, so movers will avoid transporting them. Even if they don't start a fire, heat and punctures can cause batteries to leak, leaving toxic chemicals in their wake.
Gas, nail polish remover, and other flammable liquids
If you keep gas or oil in your garage for lawn equipment, you'll have to move it yourself. For the same reason as batteries, flammable liquids are a no-go in hot trucks where they can leak and catch fire. Even nail polish remover is a hazard, so sweep your home for flammable liquids and securely transport them yourself or properly dispose of them.
Ammunition and explosives
It should probably go without saying, but we'll write it anyway: your movers won't handle explosives. And while they will sometimes move unloaded firearms, ammunition is prohibited. If you're crossing state lines, check the local laws and regulations for how to legally transport guns and ammunition.
Corrosive chemicals, poisons, and cleaning products
Toxic chemicals can easily leak during the moving process. Not only is this a health hazard to your movers, but corrosive chemicals can damage the rest of your belongings or the moving truck. Your movers will also refuse to handle household cleaning products because of their potential to form a toxic gas when combined.
Pressurized gas cylinders
If you or a loved one has ever used an oxygen tank, you probably know how dangerous they are. The potential hazards from a puncture or leak, stray spark, or excessive heat aren't worth the risk of loading them into a moving truck. This is also true for other pressurized containers like propane tanks, fire extinguishers, hairsprays, and anything else that can pose a fire or projectile risk.

Wednesday 03 July 2024 | Economic Number of readings: 204 Baghdad / NINA / The World Bank Group announced today, Wednesday, that Iraq has maintained its level within the upper segment of middle-income countries.
According to the bank's report for July of the current year 2024, "Iraq has maintained its level within this segment since 2012."
The bank added that it classifies the world's economies into four income groups: low-income countries, lower-middle-income countries, upper-middle-income countries, and high-income countries, based on the per capita share of gross national income. The measures of gross national income are expressed in US dollars. It pointed out hat "all the countries of the Arabian Gulf fall within the upper high-income segment. The bank indicated that "this year, three countries - Bulgaria and Belarus - moved from the upper-middle-income category to the high-income category."

Securities Commission: The Government Has Successfully Completed The Sale Of Financial Bonds
Market Economy News – Baghdad The Securities Commission confirmed on Wednesday that the government had successfully completed the sale of financial bonds, while indicating that many foreign investors had purchased those bonds.
The head of the authority, Faisal Al-Haimus, said: “The government has successfully completed the sale of financial bonds,” indicating that “all financial bonds that were sold were subscribed to, and this reflects the strength and stability of the State of Iraq.”
He pointed out that "there are many foreign investors who bought financial bonds, and this reflects the stability of the Iraqi state."
Government bonds are a type of debt-based investment where you lend money to a government in exchange for an agreed-upon interest rate. Economy | - 03/07/2024 Baghdad - Mawazine News The Central Bank of Iraq revealed, on Wednesday, its sales of US dollars to banks inside Iraq.
The bank's data showed that the total internal cash withdrawals amounted to $14,775,300, covered by a basic exchange rate of 1310 dinars per dollar.

Al-Hakim: Iraq's Oil Rentier Economy Is A "Major Challenge"
Wednesday 03 July 2024 Politics Number of readings: 193 Baghdad / NINA / The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, considered the rentier oil economy in Iraq a "major challenge."
Al-Hakim said during his hosting at the Baghdad Forum for Young Leaders, which was held by the Ishtar Foundation, that "the rentier economy is a major challenge and oil prices will not last long, especially if the influences that led to the rise in prices are removed."
He added: "To help break the rentier economy equation and move to the five-point agriculture, industry, tourism, investment and technology, and that all these titles are capable of opening a window of work for young people and transforming them into an effective and productive segment."
He pointed out that "Al-Sudani succeeded in his performance, which was positively reflected on the forces supporting and enabling him, and that the focus was on popular satisfaction with the government, while there is another popular satisfaction with the political forces, as evidenced by the results of the recent elections," indicating: "
Al-Sudani's success in his previous tasks is what prompted the Coordination Framework to empower him in the prime minister's office and assign him to manage the government."
Al-Hakim pointed out that "youth are a vital pillar in our Iraqi reality, given their numbers and proportions in society, which requires care and empowerment for them, taking into account requirements, developments, technology, information technology, and the like."

Oil Prices Fall To $85 Per Barrel
Economy | 03/07/2024 Baghdad – Mawazine News Oil prices rose in early Asian trading on Wednesday after industry data showed a larger-than-expected draw in U.S. crude inventories, boosting hopes for strong fuel demand during the summer driving season in the world’s top oil consumer.
Brent crude futures rose 16 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $85.60 a barrel by 00:33 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 14 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $82.95 a barrel.
Crude prices closed lower on Tuesday as concerns faded that Hurricane Beryl could disrupt production in the Gulf of Mexico.
U.S. crude inventories fell by 9.163 million barrels in the week to June 28, according to market sources citing figures from the American Petroleum Institute on Tuesday. However, gasoline stocks rose by 2.468 million barrels, and distillates fell by 740,000 barrels.
Gasoline demand in the United States is expected to rise as the summer travel season picks up with the Independence Day holiday this week.

I’m not rich by any means. But I’ve done well enough to be comfortable, mostly because I saved aggressively early in my career. Yet I still feel like I’m only a stone’s throw from being in poverty, which is slightly irrational.
I remember having no money and having to budget until my next paycheck or risk groveling to my parents for help. It wasn’t a good life. And it still feels like yesterday, even though so many years have passed. Sadly, many people feel this way.
And to some extent — this stress can be constructive. It can mitigate risky spending. You’ll certainly never catch me with problematic expensive hobbies. But I wish I could feel more at ease about my station in life. Many of my friends are in this same psychological boat too. My buddy Brian is a software engineer, who has been making north of $180K per year — for years on end — while living in a low-cost area, and he’s still as cheap as he’s ever been.
So why are we like this? How do we level up and counteract this financial anxiety?

So why are we like this? How do we level up and counteract this financial anxiety?
The origins of the problem
People tend to downgrade their financial standing. For example, per a survey by the financial firm Ameriprise Financial, only 13% of American millionaires classify themselves as wealthy. Even among those who had more than $5M in total assets — many still said they didn’t feel rich.
These weren’t people living in Silicon Valley, where $5M only gets you a shack. These were everyday people from all around the United States — still feeling underfunded.
Part of this is because of the disappearance of pensions — and fear that we’ll live on our savings and social security to get us through to old age. Both of my grandfathers had pensions, with one of them having two full separate pensions (military and government). But we are now the 401K generation — in a system that is more stressful than ever.
Why do people who have so much still feel sad about their financial standing?
Elizabeth Dunn, psychology professor at The University of British Columbia, and co-author of Happy Money: The Science of Happier Spending, looked into this very question. She found that social comparison, in particular, drives much of our financial dissatisfaction.
How we compare our income to others of similar age, education, and region of residence, greatly shapes our self-perceptions and satisfaction. Unsurprisingly, those who compared themselves to groups of higher income, tended to be less happy and more anxious about money.
Unfortunately, a majority of people tend to do upward comparisons. The severity of this impact was most notable: “The income of the reference group is about as important as one’s own income for individual happiness.”
It pains me to admit it: I’m 100% a victim of this statistic. I often watch videos of lavish mansion tours on YouTube, despite knowing the likelihood of me ever owning such a property is slim (unless I somehow write the next iteration of Atomic Habits). But I still enjoy oohing and aahing over the stunning architecture, classy furniture and paintings hanging on the walls. It’s entirely possible this admiration is only heightening my anxiety about money.
Yet I know as well as you that the person in that mansion isn’t likely to be happier than the rest of us. Within a year of becoming rich, or facing tragedy, the vast majority of people return to their baseline happiness.
What’s most telling is that winning the lottery can significantly impact your neighbor’s wellbeing. One study in Canada found that as the magnitude of someone’s lottery winnings went up, their neighbors odds of financial distress and borrowing increased alongside it.

MZ: Yes….but the term QFS has become a kinda catch- all phrase .
MZ: I am told they hope to trigger the money moving (bonds ect) before D1 and D2 go. Possibly overnight tonight but within the next 2-3 days we should see measurable movement of money, with a possibility (treat as rumor- as we have heard this before) of money moving for us and currencies as early as next week.
MZ: With the possibility of some of the groups getting paid over the weekend. This is all coming from many, many different sources right now. Reputable sources. This is very consistent chatter with big expectations . The system is in place and they hope to trigger it.
MZ: I am pretty excited. If I am hearing this from so many different sources- I bet the boards will be getting it shortly. Pray that this is “IT”
MZ: And I was told there is very measurable money movement for D1 and D2. So things are positioned right now way more than I have ever seen them.
MZ: My first bond contract that got updates this week hopes to have money on Friday ..others are hoping for a Monday payday.
MZ: I was told once they trigger bond payments …then the bigger humanitarian funds like D1 and D2 would release. If they release-you will see us all screaming from the top f our lungs as humanitarian aid starts.

I have a little bit of information about that to share with you guys too in the intel segment. So a lot of things are happening now behind the scenes, and even this week, we will not have a call on Thursday night so enjoy that time with your families, grilling out, enjoying fireworks displays but be very, very careful. If you're one of the self fireworks people, every year we hear about fireworks accidents that take off fingers or maybe poke an eye out or something.
We just don't want to hear any of that. Want you guys to be safe. Be safe, and if all you can do that's safe is use sparklers to keep it to sparklers, no shooting Roman candles at each other. I heard a news report yesterday about or that sounds it's very dangerous, but not a very smart thing to do.
So thank you, Bob. Appreciate that. That was really well done. Now let's turn to the intel – and see what it is we’ve learned so far -- Being Tuesday, we do get some information over the weekend. And we know, for example, that Iraq is supposed to put the physical, let's check that the budget in the physical version of the Gazette – Wednesday – tomorrow – We will see if that happens
The virtual Gazette - had the rate and the budget in it last Saturday. So virtually meaning online, anybody that was looking for that in the proper place would find it, but we're looking to get it in the physical version of it either tomorrow, or it may get moved. And I'm going to explain that in a second.
We have been told that we would receive this notification today, and would start exchanges tomorrow – without a doubt.
Well, I'd say there is some doubt, because we did not receive notifications today, and I don't know that we will receive tomorrow.
You see here’s the thing --- Anytime you got a holiday like Independence Day on the Fourth of July. You've got people that are thinking, Well, do we really want this to start before the Fourth of July? And the thought is, no, we don’t want it. This is what we're hearing from one of our redemption centers, and the person that puts out the information to every redemption Center East of the Mississippi, quite a few redemption centers.
The word is that we're going to get notified on Friday and set our appointments Friday for some time over the weekend, which would be theoretically, Saturday or Sunday – but I believe they are trying to go through the fourth without anything to disrupt the holiday. And I think that's why we're looking at the fifth for notifications. That's going to be Friday.
And then this is the latest that we got only hours ago. So I'm going to go with that coming from a leader at one of our redemption centers, just getting that information. I think we're really looking at getting started over this weekend, Friday, notifications, Saturday, Sunday exchanges, and maybe we will have exchanges on Sunday, maybe go Saturday and continue on through the rest of the week.
Now, as far as R and R is concerned, we should receive that in the month of July. And if you're a currency holder, you'll receive that at the time you exchange your currency and redeem your zim
One other thing about the Dinar contract rate. You know, we've heard that in our contract rate could be very high. It's still very high. It's taken a little bit of a dip, but it could very well go back up higher than it was, it will move around. It will go a little lower – it will go a little higher. It just all depends what it is when you get into the redemption center, they should offer that if you're an American citizen, they should offer you the contract rate on the dinar.
Now, what about political? you guys know, what a fiasco last Thursday, and just what a joke it was really - And the Democrats are back betting and trying to figure out what to do, but I'm hearing today that President Trump should be back as President - not only Commander in Chief – which he is now but as President sometime between the fourth and the 15th of July. We'll see if that holds up. We've had dates in the past come and go - We'll see if these hold up between the fourth and 15,
I personally think we will have NESARA somewhere in the vicinity of the eighth or ninth of July. That's what I've heard today.
Certainly the NESARA and GESARA on the eighth, would make sense from China’s point of view - that may be what it occurs. I don't think the RNR or anything else that's part of NESARA can occur without the RV and possibly without president Trump back. So we'll see how that goes. I've beentold both ways. Let’s see what happens .

The Central Bank of Iraq encourages witnesses, experts and whistleblowers to report corruption cases, in accordance with Article (9/Second) of the Law on the Protection of Witnesses, Experts, Informants and Victims No. (58) of 2017 regarding rewarding informants on corruption cases.
This bank indicates that the informant is rewarded for reporting corruption cases if it leads to their disclosure, within the basis of the reward and its amount in a system issued by the Council of Ministers.

Clare: World Bank: Iraq maintains its status within the upper middle-income category

The World Bank Group announced on Wednesday that Iraq has maintained its status within the upper middle-income category.
According to the bank's report for July of the current year 2024, which Shafak News Agency reviewed, "Iraq has maintained its level within this category since 2012."
The bank added that it classifies the world's economies into four income groups: low-income countries, lower-middle-income countries, upper-middle-income countries, and high-income countries, based on per capita gross national income. The measures of gross national income are expressed in US dollars.
She pointed out that "all the Gulf countries are within the upper high-income category. The bank stated that "this year, three countries - Bulgaria and Belarus - moved from the upper middle-income category to the high-income category."
Algeria, Iran, Mongolia and Ukraine moved from lower-middle-income to upper-middle-income countries this year. LINK

The Securities Commission confirmed on Wednesday that the government had successfully completed the sale of financial bonds, while indicating that many foreign investors had purchased those bonds.
The head of the authority, Faisal Al-Haimus, said: “The government has successfully completed the sale of financial bonds,” indicating that “all financial bonds that were sold were subscribed to, and this reflects the strength and stability of the State of Iraq.”
He pointed out that "there are many foreign investors who bought financial bonds, and this reflects the stability of the Iraqi state."
Government bonds are a type of debt-based investment where you lend money to a government in exchange for an agreed-upon interest rate. Governments use them to raise money that can be spent on infrastructure or new projects, and investors can use them to earn set returns that are paid at regular intervals. LINK
Clare: Despite the rise in the dollar, Saleh: The parallel market today is not important

The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed the stability of the dollar exchange rate against the dinar, despite its significant rise today, reaching 1,500 dinars.
Saleh told Al Furat News Agency, "The fixed exchange rate system in Iraq is based on the highest international reserves in the history of Iraq and its monetary policy, as foreign currency covers more than 100% of the total currency currently issued." He added,
"In light of the strength of the official central exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar to the dinar in the parallel market today in our country does not constitute any relative importance in influencing the stability of the general price level, which has become stable in its components and trends due to the influence of the official exchange rate factor currently dominating the financing of foreign trade (imports), amounting to 1320 dinars per dollar."
He pointed out that "it is a stable trend for the exchange rate and the stable external value of the dinar revolves around it, which is embodied by the state of stability in the relative prices of goods and services to a large extent, as annual inflation in our country does not exceed 3%."
Saleh continued, "Based on the above, and in light of the strength of the foreign reserves supporting the Iraqi dinar, the value of which as liquid foreign assets exceeds $100 billion, the official exchange market, as a general trend, will remain dominant in containing any colored noise or ambiguous information that affects the parallel exchange market in short periods due to urgent international or regional political events here and there or in adapting some instructions regulating the monetary market.
Stressing that after the decline of the dollarization phenomenon in internal transactions, especially in contracts, obligations and payments within the country since last year and its legal prohibition."
He stressed that "the parallel exchange market has become such that its general effects today only form a narrow economic scope of prohibited transactions practiced by informal markets and at a rate of 10% of the total supply and demand transactions for the currency."
He stressed that "the stability of the exchange rate of the dinar to the dollar that the country is witnessing even in the secondary markets above is a real and solid stability, and is derived from the strength of the impact of the price and quantity factors of the monetary and financial policies and their integration in imposing overall price stability in the country and containing inflationary expectations that were caused by the parallel exchange market forces during the past years."
He noted that "the irregular secondary market, due to the freedom of external transfer, is affected by the official exchange market rate, whose operations are constantly expanding in favor of dealing with the fixed official exchange rate."

MZ: I was hoping to have something on that today…I was hoping we would get clarification that the HCL was done, nailed down and welded shut. But,, we did not get that news yet. I am hearing it is done. But we will play “wait and see” this afternoon.
Member: I was told HCL will be approved today and thus the new rate will be announced overnight!!!
MZ: News is all over the place today. Money has not moved to my knowledge…not that I can prove. .
MZ: There are supposedly movement of Kurdish leaders in Iraq visiting Baghdad and the rumor is the HCL will be nailed down tight…done, done , done…..and the announcement could be today. That is what I am watching.
MZ: I do know of a couple bond contacts who are expecting a “update” today. They are not expecting a payment. But an update as to where they are in the process…as we move into the July 4th weekend. Hope to have what they are being told for you this evening.

MZ: It may be wise to exchange directly into a multi-currency account. If you need living expenses you only need to withdraw a little and pay taxes on that until the tax law is better
