Economy News – Baghdad The head of the Securities Commission and head of the committee in charge of the sanctioned banks, Faisal Al-Haimas, confirmed today, Friday, the submission of recommendations to the Economic Ministerial Council regarding those banks.

Al-Haims said in a statement to the official agency, followed by Al-Iqtisad News: “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani assigned him to head a committee to look into the sanctioned banks,” noting that “the recommendations were submitted to the Economic Ministerial Council more than three weeks ago.”

He added, "The committee is awaiting the approval of the recommendations by the Ministerial Economic Council," noting that "the committee stressed the necessity of launching development initiatives through government and private private banks to strengthen the Iraqi economy."

Oil Continues To Achieve Gains For The Third Month In A Row

Economy Friday, March 29, 2024 Follow-up/National News Center Oil prices jumped more than a dollar amid expectations of tight supply due to the possibility of the OPEC+ alliance maintaining its current production cut, ongoing attacks on energy infrastructure in Russia, and a shrinking number of American oil exploration platforms.

On Thursday (March 28, 2024), Brent crude futures contracts for May delivery rose $1.39, or 1.6%, to reach $87.48 per barrel upon settlement, while the most widely traded June futures contracts rose $1.58 to reach $87 per barrel upon settlement.

As for US West Texas Intermediate crude futures for May delivery, they rose $1.82, or 2.2%, to record $83.17 per barrel upon settlement.

Brent crude recorded a weekly increase of 2.4%, while West Texas Intermediate crude recorded a weekly increase of approximately 3.2%. Both crudes achieved gains for the third month in a row.

Last session, oil prices came under pressure after US crude oil and gasoline inventories rose unexpectedly last week, driven by higher crude imports and slower gasoline demand, according to Energy Information Administration data.

However, the increase in crude oil inventories was less than the American Petroleum Institute had expected, and analysts noted that the increase was less than expected for this time of year, according to Reuters.

Prices also received support from US refinery operating rates, which rose 0.9 percentage points last week.

The number of oil and gas exploration rigs, an early indicator of future supply volume, shrank by three rigs to 621 in the week ending March 28, according to data from energy services company Baker Hughes.

Investors will await indicators from next week's meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee for Production Monitoring of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

Growing geopolitical risks have raised expectations of potential supply disruption, but the OPEC+ alliance is unlikely to make any changes to oil production policy until the full ministerial meeting in June.

Welcome everybody to the big call tonight – it is Thursday, March 28th and you're listening to the big call. Thanks for tuning in again, everybody around the globe - wherever you're tuned in from and listening to us. We appreciate that. We appreciate everything that everyone is doing, to keep this call going and Sue wanted me to let you know that I'm a little under the weather have been for, I guess, three weeks or so. And it's due to side effects from a certain drug that I'm trying out and it isn't really working out - so hang in there with me tonight. I'm a little low energy, but I'll do my best. We're gonna try to shorten the call a little bit. And then I'll get you the information you need in the Intel segment. so that's all teed up, ready to go. So thanks everybody for bearing with us tonight.

Thank you, Bob. appreciate that so much. Let's get into the intel. This is short and sweet. We got a lot of information this afternoon to tell us where we are. And that's what we all want to know. First of all, all sanctions with a one of our US banks were dropped by Iraq. We dropped sanctions. On Iraq I think about three or four days ago, those were dropped. Everything's clear from that point of view.

Iraq has a new rate on their CBI rate, and it's very good and they should be bringing out the international rate on the Iraqi Dinar on Sunday - Easter Sunday so that's a good thing to look forward to.

Remember we told you super whales had received their emails last Friday – they did get access – some of them had access to their funds already – the total number of regular bondholders - will not be complete until noon Easter Sunday - and we are getting that from our contact at Santander Bank and so that’s good

Remember, we are to go right on the heels, of the tier three bondholders - so nothing's going to happen for us this weekend.

We know redemption center staff is starting to go in on Monday to take appointments for us. And on Tuesday, bigger staff is going in and we expect that to be our day to start exchanges. So we're looking to get notified Monday, set appointments. Monday and start on Tuesday with our exchanges

So they have pushed us all the way to April 1st and 2nd . That appears to be where we are - start of the new quarter past Easter. So resurrection day will be a day we can celebrate that and not get involved with anything else other than Resurrection Day this weekend. So that's what we're looking at right now is no change.- In what well we did think we were gonna get this before Easter.

We were told they were gonna do it. Get it done, but we have to wait the regular tier three bond holders to complete and we're told they're gonna complete by around noon on Easter Sunday. So we're just looking forward to getting notified Monday - and starting on Tuesday. That's it.

That appears to be where we are right now. And we'll have new rates out that Iraq is going to put out their international rate on their dinar on Sunday on Easter Sunday.

Oh here's another thing. The Rodriguez Trust the one that has a depth that it seems like it's unlimited depth that is being released Easter Sunday - along with the St. Germain trust. St Germain is going to fund GESARA that global effort - and the Rodriguez trust is going to fund North and South America.

Okay, that's what that's gonna do - and both of those are being released on Sunday. So there'll be plenty of money - Money coming out from that, that we will take advantage of - and we'll be able to receive as part of our exchanges - so I think that is what everybody wanted to know.

Rates are going to be great. Don't worry about that. Just for those of you who are dinar holders, Iraqi dinar, we're supposed to be given the contract rate on dinar which is tied to price of oil per barrel.

Now, they didn't say whether it's North Sea Brent crude, or whether it's West Texas Intermediate crude, but either one is going to be a winner. So if you want to track that to see what that rates going to be, go ahead I believe it is tied to North Sea Brent crude.

At least the last time we checked on it, that's what it was supposed to be tied to and that's what the the Iraqi dinar for the contract rate for only those who go to the redemption centers would be able to get and they're supposed to offer it to us. That's good. We don't have to ask for it - they should offer it. That's kinda neat .

Let's see better. Other than that. Things are moving along very well for us. Iraq - the stage is clear. We're all set to get that thing moving. Now - finally, it seems like everything is in place

We don't expect any more false flags. And I think we're all set to start. also R & R is supposed to kick in the first week of April.

Let's hope that comes in an increase in Social Security is supposed to start in April. So those are two really good things we are looking for - of course, as well as of course, the 800 numbers coming for us on April 1 - So let's see what that looks like.

Let's set appointments and let's start exchanges on the 1st so we can go in the redemption centers starting the 2nd .

The public has obviously been moved back at least to the probably 8th or 9th of April. People that don't use the toll free number and aren’t aware of the big call for some reason. I don't know how that can happen, but that's what it is. And so called public will start about the week after we start our exchanges. All right.

I want everybody to have a wonderful Easter weekend - resurrection day - Sunday, have a wonderful time celebrating. And this is a big time for us, and we look forward everything. going right afterwards. Literally the day after when we get our numbers - so stay tuned for that. I'm excited about this thing moving forward and going in that direction.

As we approach the MICA testing and implementation of regulating Global cryptocurrencies, Exchange Traded Notes or ETNs THAT TRACK INDEXES, BONDS AND OTHER ASSETS will soon become available on May 28th, 2024.

MICA's pilot program is expected to be done near the above date as well. This will enable us to move forward with Global Cryptocurrency Regulations.

While all of this is going on, Phase 2 of Project Aurora progresses forward along with MICA. This includes anti-money laundering (AML) mechanisms to support the new digital economy. It ensures a proof of concept application able to scale this and other pilot programs.

"Citigroup strategists expect the Federal Reserve to start cutting interest rates in June, the bank said after the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) for February was released today.

Citi's projections are now more in line with the Federal Reserve's expectations for the upcoming easing cycle. In a research note, the strategists said they expect Chair Jerome Powell to maintain a dovish stance despite recent hawkish signals from other Fed officials."

This would not be a surprise to me due to the fact that the lowering of rates would help kick-start the new digital economy.

MICA is expected to be completed by May 28th, 2024. It will give regulations and demands for new digital assets to commence.

A lowering of interest rates after holding back Commodity prices for years would send these new Tokenized Assets backed by gold and other Commodities through the roof.

Timing is everything my friends, and these new price pressures on Stablecoins that represent various countries' currencies would begin to put price pressures on the paper money you and I hold.

Watch for laws to govern these new Tokenized Assets to begin coming into play these next two months.

London Stock Exchange Announcement:

The London Stock Exchange has announced the launch of a market for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded notes (ETN). In a notice issued on Monday, the United Kingdom’s major stock exchange said that the Crypto ETNs will be rolled out on May 28.

The stock exchange had earlier revealed that it would accept applications for the admission to trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum Crypto ETNs in the second quarter of 2024.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee, this evening, Thursday (March 28, 2024), reassured employees and retirees regarding their salaries in the financial budget for the year 2024.

The head of the committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, told the official agency, followed by “Baghdad Today,” “We are awaiting the arrival of the 2024 budget schedules.”

He added, "The salaries of employees, retirees, and the protection network are secured in the 2024 budget."

Al-Atwani stressed, "There is no financial crisis in Iraq."

The Prime Minister stressed today, Thursday, that local governments must make their efforts to enhance citizen confidence, while announcing the start of setting 2024 budget schedules.

Al-Sudani said in a speech during the second session of the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the Governorates, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “This meeting is the first after the local elections were held,” pointing out that “the elections were one of the important milestones that represent an achievement of the political process.”

He added, "Local governments must work as one team and make their efforts to enhance citizen confidence." He stressed that "local governments are an integral part of the executive authority," noting that "the evaluation of officials must be subject to a professional and scientific program."

He concluded by stressing: “Our goal is to serve our people,” pointing at the same time to begin setting the 2024 budget schedules. LINK

Clare: Sudanese announces the start of setting 2024 budget schedules

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani announced today, Thursday, the start of setting 2024 budget schedules that include added financial entitlements to the governorates that will be allocated to infrastructure.

Al-Sudani stated, during the second session of the Supreme Commission for Coordination between governorates not organized into a region, in the presence of governors and new heads of provincial councils, that: “The Supreme Commission for Coordination between Governorates is a body formed according to the law that is responsible for addressing obstacles and developing mechanisms to manage common jurisdictions,” stressing, “starting to establish schedules.” The 2024 budget, including financial entitlements added to the governorates, will be allocated to infrastructure.”

Al-Sudani explained, “The government is keen on making the mission of local governments a success, despite the presence of trolls who do not like the vision of stability in the country,” stressing that “correct management of public money will provide positive and correct indicators, and requires working with a vision that takes into consideration the coming years and meeting entitlements.” . Today I went to lunch with a very wealthy person. I don’t know exactly how wealthy , but based on his frequent trips to Maui, the fact that he earns a free plane ticket every month through his frequent flier points, and the fact that the other day he decided to go out and buy a truck just because he’s never had one before, there’s good reason to believe he’s close to a seven-digit earner.

As I talked with him, it raised a lot of questions in my mind about how managing my finances will change as my wealth grows. If I were a millionaire would I still need to budget? Would I still want to track all my spending? Would I still need to negotiate with my wife about finances?

It seems logical that with an income over $1,000,000 a year you wouldn’t need to plan as vigorously. But in the end that’s a lie. Millionaires that manage their money irresponsibly can quickly lose it all and fall from grace (MC Hammer comes to mind).

1. Be Who You Want To Be Earning more money amplifies who you are.

I’m going to borrow my first idea directly from my lunch partner who said “earning more money really just amplifies who you are.” While that might seem initially like a good thing, it really is a double-edged sword.

For some, becoming a millionaire leads to a life of over-indulgence and decay. We catch glimpses of this in the popular media and entertainment world; drug addiction, abuse, and infidelity. Blemishes in your character will still be there if you become wealthy.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking that having more money will solve your problems. It could make them worse.

On the other hand, if you have a mindset of serving and making a postitive contribution to your family and community now, you will be able to manifest those contributions with even greater power and effectiveness when you’re rich.

By focusing on the positive contribution you want to make in your life, you will be prepared to expand and amplify your contribution as you earn more money.

2. Build Your Relationships Earning more money amplifies your relationship dynamics.

Let me tell you a secret: earning more money does not solve your relationship problems. Even though my income has increased significantly over our 10 years of marriage, we still tend to argue about the exact same financial issues.

If you have bad arguments over $100, just think of the how intense they will get arguing over $10,000 or $100,000. Working out your finances as a couple isn’t about the dollars, it’s about your values.

By making all your spending and budgeting explicit, and by working as a team, you can address those values differences before they get out of control. As you become more wealthy, you’ll have a trusted, agreed-upon system in place to manage your increase.

Member: The Elijah stream with Dr. Jan Halper this week said Iraq is just waiting on talks with Hamas to come to an agreement and then them REER (Real Effective Exchange Rate) ready to go

MZ” I am getting back and forth news from groups . Some say it’s happening now and some say May….They are really bouncing back and forth.

Member: Militia Man brought up a good point yesterday that when the Dinar was at $3.22 oil was at $35 per barrel, and today oil is at over $83 per barrel.

Member: Latest Rumtel: Announcement from Sudani on Saturday, Prices in stores and restaurants to change in Iraq on Sunday . This could be it?

MZ: If we see that- This is it.

Member: Mark are you expecting a big week next week? Wink wink

MZ: Bond folks seem to be in a “holding pattern” . but, they still expect contracts and a payment of 1% of their funds on Monday. Hopefully we will actually see that come to fruition.

Member: I saw someone posted on Recaps that the dong may be $3.82?

MZ: I am not seeing that- but there is a potential possibility for that based on chatter from the last 16-18 hours from some. Truth is we will not know until we cross the finish line.

MZ: From Zimbabwe: “Zimbabwe aspires to join BRICS New Development Bank” Iraq is also trying to join the BRICS New Development Bank.

MZ: “BRICS-US dollar weakened 25% since 2020 amid global shift” and this decrease is speeding up quickly . This is all part of de-dollarization.

Member: I wonder at what point that BRICS will have its most impact on our dollar or the collapse of it??

MZ: I think its already there and still picking up steam. When does it hit critical mass and crashes the dollar? That is the question.

MZ: “Expect a financial crisis in Europe with France at the Epicenter” The world is so interconnected. If China crashes then Europe crashes. If Europe crashes then the US crashes….If the US crashes everyone crashes.

Member: I don't know about everyone else but I think the excitement is really building

Member: My son has an appointment with a wealth management on Tues.

Member: I have a appointment Monday with the wealth manager at Wells Fargo. I’m in Los Angeles.

Member: I had a phone meeting with a wealth manager from TCG Wealth Management from Wells Fargo for setting up an appointment next Tuesday in Reno. TSG Wealth Management has many offices in many locations in the states . The wealth manager was very knowlegable regarding the changes in currencies.

MZ: I love seeing those things.

Membere: I went to JP Morgan wealth Management at chance and was told not at Liberty to talk about it but I can set up a wealth management account

Member: Just a question. Why would all these "Wealth Management" offices be going up now, when the economy is going so bad? Just wondering.
