MZ:I keep hearing rumors that whales have money. I have great whale contacts- phenomenal whale contacts in Reno, Miami , Shanghai and Hong Kong and Zurich. And I cannot find a single one that has spendable dollars. Quite a few of them talk about having money in their accounts but they can’t get to it. Its on hold.

MZ: But are they very hopeful they will soon see a release of it- yes. But they just hae not seen it yet.

MZ: I continue to hear everything is ready and prepared and they just need to decide when to pull the trigger.

Member: they must be tired of looking at that non spendable money for last year !!!

Member:  I don't believe we will hear anyone has spendable money until we have all gone!!

Member: A shotgun start. It's the only way they can control the chatter from getting ahead of them.

MZ: From Iraq: “ US bans 14 Iraqi banks in crackdown of Iran dollar trade”  this is actually a good thing. The US is working with the Iraq gov. and the CBI to make certain there are no terrorist funds going where they are not supposed to. This is more on the effort to make sure everything is above board. The world needs to have confidence in Iraq and support the rate that they decide on for their currency. This is another sign of the progress Iraq is making. .

Member: (From Dinar Guru)  Frank26   [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report]   FIREFLY:  Bank friends says the key to everything that we're looking for is within the oil and gas because we all know here in Iraq that when they present to us the oil and gas law it will be with a new rate because how are you gonna decide to divide up what everybody gets if you don't know what the rate is?    FRANK:   The key to everything is in that HCL, that's in the budget, that is waiting for the new exchange rate...

MZ: We have heard the HCL is a big key piece and they are acting like its already done over there.

Member: Do we know if the rial is included in the RV?

MZ: We do not for sure if it will go at the same time as the dinar. They would like to. Iran is going to go at some point…there is no doubt.

MZ: “Venezuela strengthens financial ties with Russia through interbank connections and Mir card integration”  This is more of the world getting around the hegemony of the US dollar and the sanctions coming out of the west right now. They are now set up to use the Russian Mir system and not the Swift system.  

Member: Any idea about how many people in the US have currency to exchange?

Member: I don’t know how anyone can even guess….many of us have gifted currency to friends and family

Member: Dr Young had some great info . I watched his podcast the other day. I believe from. what he Said its all done. we are just waiting for the trigger

Member: I just read on restored republic this morning Iraq can't RV until on BRICS. Same with Vietnam.

To enhance the ability of the Iraqi dinar against foreign currencies to circulate within the country, the following was decided:

1. Collection of all cash guarantees shall be in dinar currency exclusively for internal credits, bank guarantees and letters of guarantee issued to the benefit of the beneficiaries (governmental and private), even if they are in dollar currency and at the official exchange rate.

2. The payment of the sums of the letters of guarantee upon confiscation shall be exclusively in Iraqi dinars and at the official exchange rate.

We ask all authorized banks to take the necessary measures in accordance with the above link 

Tishwash:  Expert: US sanctions will have repercussions on the Iraqi economy

Economic expert Munqith Dagher said that the US sanctions that affected Iraqi banks will have repercussions on the Iraqi economy, criticizing the Central Bank.

And Dagher wrote in his tweet on the social networking site Twitter, "A painful blow to the Iraqi banking sector, with the punishment of 14 banks by the US Treasury Department for their non-compliance with the sanctions and their dealings with US dollars with Iran   link

CandyKisses:   Oil refining in Iraq rises to 1.1 million barrels per day

Economy News-Baghdad

Iraq's oil refining capacity has risen to 1.1 million barrels per day.

According to the Energy Agency, "the oil refining capacity in Iraq is 1.116 million barrels per day in 2022, up from 976,2021 barrels per day in," noting that "the rise came as a result of the completion of the Karbala refinery and the start of actual production in it."

She added that "the government acquires all refineries and is distributed over 3 entities, namely the North, Central and South Refineries Company," noting that "the capacity of the refineries in the North Refineries Company is 272 and the most prominent refineries is the refinery of Samoud, which was previously called the Baiji refinery, which produces a capacity of 140 thousand barrels per day."

She pointed out that "the capacity of the central refineries is 360,140 barrels per day, and the most prominent refineries are the Dora refinery, which produces a capacity of 280,210 barrels per day, while the capacity of the South Refineries Company is barrels per day, and the most prominent refinery in it is Basra, which produces a capacity of, barrels per day."

She pointed out that "there are other refineries in the Kurdistan region, most notably the Bazian refinery with a capacity of 40 barrels per day."

Iraq suffers from a deficit in providing oil products locally, costing it about $ 5 billion annually, and gasoline and diesel account for $ 3.5 billion of the total

Tishwash:  Iraqi Prime Minister: The strategic partnership is a roadmap for developing relations with France

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani affirmed today, Wednesday, that the strategic partnership agreement represents a map of action for the development of Iraqi-French relations in the fields of economy, security, energy, culture and education, indicating that the government is working to regulate the relationship with the international coalition in Iraq. 

This came during his meeting with the French Minister of Armies, Sebastien Licorne, in Baghdad, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, and prospects for developing them at the security level, within the scope of the international coalition, and within the framework of advice and training to raise the performance of the Iraqi security forces, and to emphasize the continuation of bilateral cooperation to continue training and cooperation in the field of armament, and exchange of information.

Al-Sudani praised - according to what was reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - France's support for the Iraqi forces, referring to the (strategic partnership agreement) that was signed during Al-Sudani's visit to France last January.

For his part, the French Minister of Armies conveyed the greetings of French President Emmanuel Macron to the Iraqi Prime Minister, stressing the French government's readiness to cooperate with Iraq in the field of training, armament and capacity development, pointing to the seriousness of his country's government in providing everything Iraq needs and developing real partnerships with it.  link

Just a reality check for everyone here. A country cannot simply “declare” a new value of its currency and suddenly the global FX market accepts the revaluation. It doesn’t work that way.

If Iraq RVs her currency arbitrarily (because it says so), no global exchange market or financial institution would accept it. They certainly wouldn’t trade other currencies and pay the arbitrary price differential. They would simply force Iraq to conduct trade in dollars or euros, etc.
This would actually collapse the IQD further in Iraq’s domestic economy.

Currency values in foreign exchange markets are determined by GDP, GDP per Capita, Foreign Investment Capital Inflows (as a ratio to GDP), and overall government stability ratings.

For instance, when you compare all of the above economic metrics between IRAQ and Kuwait, you’ll discover that Iraq is well below Kuwait in every category. Even if Iraq pegged the IQD to a basket of currencies such as the USD, Euro, and British Pound, Iraq’s financial situation cannot afford to buy enough of those currencies (as FX reserves) to maintain a high, revalued peg..
Iraq would become insolvent very quickly.

This is why Iraq has not RV’d. The same goes for Vietnam.

The only way forward is to participate in a gold-backed currency unit and RV the price of gold vs that new currency unit. Hopefully, this is what BRICS are going to do at some point in the future.

Member:  All kinds of chatter saying redemption started on July 17 and the public will start on July 23. Any news on all the many reports coming out along these lines Mark?

MZ: The bond side is now starting to see rumors of liquidity. But, none of my people have received funds yet. None of the whales I speak with have spendable cash.

MZ: Iraqi contacts are still very hopeful for today or tomorrow. This is based on what they are hearing on the ground-  in Iraq…… not what I am saying.

MZ: I don’t know if they will see it or not as there is a tremendous amount in flux right now. Stay calm. Rumors will continue antil “BAM” and its suddenly here. It could be at any hour or still a day or two away. We just don’t know yet.

MZ: With the tremendous amount or rumors I bet the currency boards are really lighting up. But, until somebody we know has spendable cash or they call us with 800 numbers- I am going to stay calm.

MZ: They will be able to say whether they have spendable money or not. They probably cannot tell me how much they have …..but that is our belief.

Zim Bond is denoted in the Zimbabwean Dollar  being traded now on Forex currency markets, when the bond clearly says to pay to the bearer of the face value of the bond in that currency.

What other way is there to be seen?   How else could this be interpreted?

Currency-converter, at the very end of their list of currencies being traded you will find ZWL (Zimbabwean Dollar), the face value of a single 100T ZWL bearer bond, converted to USD. 

You will find on that link the conversion value (1:1) comes out at an interesting amount.

Zimbabwe will trade internationally with many countries. America being one of them.

So ofcourse it will make sense for their currency to have equal value so imports are cheaper and not a strain on their economy.  Which is why the currency is already 1:1 to USD

everybody so the big call tonight is Tuesday, July 18. And you're listening to the big call. Thanks for tuning in everybody all over the globe. I know we had a really good reach. On Thursday we had 94 countries 91 countries on Tuesday's call, with the 6.7 million live listeners listening to the call, and half a million listening to the replay, which was what 7.2 million total. That's in addition to free conference call, and anybody who listens to free conference call replay or a replay link. So that's pretty good reach. And that's right along with the probably the most that we've had in a while. So thanks for joining everybody tonight

I don't think we are going to have another call. I really don't. I don't think we're going to have one. All right. So why do I say that?

So first of all, yours truly was awakened at 7:02 this morning, which is a little earlier than I like to awaken, but I was given some information that led me to believe I might just get something delivered, which would have the toll free numbers.

Now, my understanding a little later in the day was yeah, like there needs to be some changes made to some paperwork. And I thought, okay, all right, fine. So hopefully they made those changes, and everything is set to go. Now. What I'm saying is, I don't know when I'm gonna get delivery, but I know it's pretty quickly here pretty soon.

What we are hearing from Iraq is their budget for 2023 is opened. And of course that has the actual dinar rate in it that they use to calculate the budgets. What I didn’t asked was, did everything get printed in the Gazette Sunday? That was the plan - was everything that would be in the Gazette Sunday.

It might have been that was the intention, and I did not have clarification on whether that happened. And even if it didn't, it doesn't really matter to us at this point.

What happened earlier today is every bank, every bank head, meaning – President -  the Vice President, of every bank around the globe, was notified to be prepared to chain communication to their bank personnel. That everything is to be started within 24 hours.

Now it is up to each individual bank to an extent as to when they will do start doing exchanges. And I can tell you right before the call tonight oh man bank communication phone calls emails was at a fever pitch?

You know, a lot of this stuff comes down to the fact where even and we know we've been through it, too. We've been told things were gonna happen and something didn't happen. And so we can't completely fault the banks for sitting, sitting back and kick back and not necessarily being ready. But they've been told under no uncertain terms to be ready.

Rearding windows when would it start? It would start tomorrow. We've got we have we have where our seating will play – 24 hrs starting today. Really meaning tomorrow is definitely in play. And tomorrow because of what I should have received today, and was fully intended to receive today – did notreceive yet. And that's the operative word Y E T? Because the day is not over yet. You catch my drift -

But I believe what one we've got information from two of our redemption centers. And one is saying notifications to us will come out between 930 and noon tomorrow. Let's see if that holds up. And we've also been told bondholders will get their emails, giving them access to funds. Their emails would arrive after 930 In the morning, and they would actually have access to funds before noon tomorrow.

These are bondholders - now we have another step. We receive that email we see toll free number we call the call center. And then we're routed to a redemption center in our zip code that we select to set our actual appointments. And I believe there's a chance we'll get these emails after 930 Sometime that'd be 931. It just means between 930 and probably noon and then we'll set up and there's a possibility that we will actually set our appointments and redemption center for some time tomorrow afternoon.

And if not, we should set our appointments for Thursday. So either way whenever we get the toll free number in an email from Wells Fargo - That to me is game over  - or game on .

 However we want to look at it because that's really what we're looking to receive. And from that point on we go and we are able to get started setting our appointments and going into our exchanges and redemption of Zim.

Now trying to think if there's anything else that even matters at this point,  any really political changes put any updates on that? Well, the latest update we had today was supposed to be by by by biden -  I don't know if it was that was what we were told by a certain number of contacts. And I don't know if that's true, or if it's in process. But I'll say one thing. We have been told and confirmed that President Trump would be back either on the 22nd or 23rd of July - 22 Is this Saturday - 23 is Sunday. So we'll see how that goes and what has to occur in the next couple days to make that happen. That's all we have anything political.

So we've got a really good and the reason I'm pretty excited about what should be happening tomorrow is because I was told that I would see something today - and I might still - so that's - that's exciting to me. That's telling me it's right there. It's right here. And I think it's a very positive step that they're they're taking to make this thing happen and to get it done.

I love the fact that all the bankers, all the heads of banks have been contacted. This is to go and to let their people know, it's real and it's starting. And we're underway. We've got certain people that we were hoping to hear from related to Charlie Ward that are no longer able to talk. They're under a fourth NDA. And it's precluding them from speaking to our people.

So I'm excited about where we stand right now, you guys. I think this is the closest we've ever been to having it actually manifest. And I'm excited about that.

That's what I wanted to bring to the call tonight about where we are. I look forward to this manifesting and I think we're gonna see something tomorrow, so stay tuned your emails. Remember?

My understanding is they want me to get the word out to people get the toll free number out and doing it on our website.  So it'll be on bigcalluniverse. com when  we’re able to get it and put it on there. And also, we should send out the emails more than likely tomorrow. I don't see us going out tonight. It would be tomorrow, some time.

But you guys, the only reason that makes any difference that we have an email list to send out the toll free number is some people that were gifted money or some people that change their email - they may not have your current email address - they being the Treasury and the Treasury has obviously given all that to  Wells Fargo and then Wells Fargo emails are loaded and ready to go out.

But people change emails or move or whatever they may not have everything that they need. So we're looking to sort of fill in the blanks. People that are listeners to the big call can go to big call universe.com and register their current email if they already haven't. If you already have we've got it. Okay and we'll be sending out a blast of emails with the toll free number on it.

Sort of a congratulations, email. And that could go out tomorrow, but you should be looking to your emails sometime tomorrow morning, mid morning, if they've come in before noon, and then you can set your appointments and get started. So that's what I've been told. That's what I've heard. And that's pretty much everything I wanted to share tonight.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on Wednesday, that the Iraqi government will sign a memorandum of understanding with Venezuela in the field of energy and gas during the current year.

A statement of the ministry received by Shafaq News agency stated, "Ambassador Haider Al-Barrak, head of the Department of America, and his accompanying delegation, met Juan Santana, the Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Oil, yesterday, Tuesday, and during the meeting, they reviewed the distinguished relations in the field of energy and emphasized the need for high-level coordination between the two countries. In OPEC and OPEC Plus.

The statement referred to "the preparation of a memorandum of understanding in the field of energy and gas between the two countries, which will be signed during the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein to Venezuela this year."

On Sunday, July 16, Minister of Electricity Ziyad Ali announced that he would go to Qatar and Turkmenistan to supply them with gas to operate power plants instead of Iranian gas ink

Abdul-Ghani referred to the distinguished relations between Iraq and the Kingdom, which witnessed great development,and Iraq's welcome to Saudi companies to invest and participate in the development of oil and gas fields, refining, infrastructure and others.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Brahim, Assistant Minister of Energy for Oil and Gas Affairs in the Kingdom, conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Energy, His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, and his desire to establish a number of bilateral cooperation projects between the two brotherly countries in the oil and energy sector.

Al-Brahim added that the delegation held talks with officials In the Ministry of Oil of the Republic of Iraq, a number of investment opportunities were reviewed in the oil and gas sector, exploratory sites, liquidation, etc., expressing his hope to reach an agreement on a number of projects in the near future.

While the Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs, Mr. Ali Maarej, said that the delegation of the Ministry of Energy and Saudi Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had seen the investment map in the oil and gas sector, where the head of the delegation expressed his country’s desire to participate and enter into a number of investment projects in the oil and gas sector

Zeeman:  Just a thought. Iraq has made great strides in  improving the country and working  on cleaning up corruption even though like in the US- everywhere you turn there is corruption. 

What if iraq wanted to change the value of their money which they really need but could not due to outside intervention like the US.

The US is losing its power of the USD worldwide and since Iraq is considering BRICS as well as depegging from the USD…..could there be pressure by the US not to change the value of the dinar? Just a thought imo

Suzie:  If there IS outside interference such as from the US that tells me Iraq isn't "sovereign" yet and with the exchange rates of dollar and dinar going up again....who knows?  Until they iron out the HCL and finalize it and have FULL clearance from the IMF I think we're waiting for awhile yet.....just MY opinion, hope I'm wrong.

I just cannot substantiate the rumors with anyone I know in real life. So I will leave this in the “Hopeful rumor “ list for now.

MZ:  I can tell you factually that no one has gone to see Mr. C yet. There is always the chance Mr. C has been put there as a diversion and not the one to enter codes. It’s a slim possibility.

MZ: in Iraq there is a lot of anticipation for late in their business day today. This is from a finance minister connection in the banking world over there. We will see if it pans out.
