Khalil added, "The frozen funds amounted to 28 billion dinars, of which 13 billion dinars were spent, while 15 billion dinars are still missing." He pointed out that "Sinjar's entitlement to the Emergency Food Security Support Law amounts to more than 300 billion dinars, which has not been allocated so far." Khalil talked about the possibility of "prosecuting the local government and the federal government, if there are any suspicions of corruption in this file." As for the need for the Sinjar district to be allocated for its complete reconstruction, Khalil replied, “Sinjar needs about 10 billion dollars, to rebuild all its sectors and compensate the affected people.”
