The Kurdish activist Mahmoud Yassin Kurdi accused, on Wednesday, the ruling families in the Kurdistan region of stealing large sums of money and depositing them in their accounts in Europe.

The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed, today, Wednesday, that Iraq has made important strides in increasing electronic payment tools and transforming Iraqi society into a .digital one, and gradually leaving cash dealing

And the media office of the Central Bank said in a statement received by (Baghdad today), that "an Iraqi - Jordanian banker held a forum organized by the Association of Private Banks in Baghdad, in the presence of the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank Ammar Hamad, Minister of Digital Economy Ahmed Al-Hanahadeh and a ".number of Iraqi and Jordanian banks and payment companies The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Ammar Hamad Khalaf, said during the meeting, according to the statement,

"This forum comes at a very important time, as the Central Bank has made important strides in increasing electronic payment tools and transforming the Iraqi society into a digital one and gradually leaving cash dealing

Tishwash:  Iraq embarks on digital transformation at ITIEX International

Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Communications announced the launch of the exclusive exhibition "Itex for Technology and Communications", under the slogan "Iraq is moving towards digital transformation, and the accelerated adoption of artificial intelligence technology", on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair

The ministry said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "under the auspices of the Prime MinisterMustafa Al-KazemiAnd Minister of Communications, Arkan Al-Shaibani, the ministry held the exclusive exhibition “Itex for Technology and Communications,” noting that it was “organized and operated by Alpha International

She indicated that the exhibition was launched under the slogan "Iraq It is moving towards digital transformation, and the accelerated adoption of artificial intelligence technology.”

The exhibition will be held, according to the statement, “with the active participation of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, international and local companies, major banks, private banks, money transfer and electronic payment companies. 

The Union Bank of Iraq, the diamond sponsor of the exhibition, will launch the first incubator specialized in financial technologies in Iraq The bank will present its banking services to the public and visiting specialists, in addition to spreading banking awareness and the objectives of financial inclusion that the Union Bank of Iraq seeks to achieve in various segments of Iraqi society in line with the special development in the world and keeping pace with international financial and banking progress.
