The Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Region said today, Sunday, that the missile attack, which targeted several areas of Erbil, was launched from the eastern side outside the Iraqi borders towards the new building of the US Consulate in Erbil and the surrounding areas.  

The Ministry of the Interior said in a statement received by "Nass" that "on the night of 12/13-3-2022 at one o'clock in the morning, 12 long-range ballistic missiles were launched from the east outside the Iraqi borders towards the new building of the US Consulate in Erbil and the residential civilian areas near the building.
