A perceived Big Happy Family is not always what it seems. As with every family, the infighting for more power is omnipresent and this is also the case with the Archon Bloodline families. There are 13 ‘base’ or ‘core’ original bloodlines. Yet there are many, many other lines that spring off from these.

On the surface, there is no competition, it is just one Big Happy Family. No competition in the sense of House against House, though it is in effect a ‘dog eat dog’ world. There is interpersonal competition. Everyone wants to move up the ladder. The entire Familial society is geared that way; toward upward progression.
