With Al-Sadr continuing to reject all calls for negotiation and the end of the deadline for dissolving Parliament, information obtained by Al-Mada indicates that the next options will be in re-escalation.

Al-Sadr visited Saudi Arabia for the first time in 2017, when he also met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
