The Digital Media Center Proposes The Creation Of A Ministry Concerned With Digital Transformation
Sweetened Today, 21:38
Baghdad - The Digital Media Center called, today, Thursday, for the creation of a ministry concerned with the affairs of digital transformation in Iraq in the formation of the next government.
The center said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "countries all over the world in general and our Arab region in particular are moving fast towards digitization, which has become a necessary need for the work and sustainability of the state, and is not a luxury or a marginal issue that can perform its tasks by a specific committee or A department in one of the state ministries.
He added, "The proposed new ministry should focus first on activating the principle of electronic governance in all state institutions according to a realistic and clear plan and within a specific timetable, as well as its interest in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, big data, electronic automation, blockchain, cloud computing, the distance education system, and everything else."
It relates to these concepts that form the foundations of digital transformation and its frameworks.”
The center stressed that "the digital transformation that Iraq needs does not mean merely introducing technology into government institutions, but rather it is a work program and a comprehensive approach that touches the entire structure of the institution and is thus reflected in the services it provides to the citizen."
The center stressed "the necessity of keeping this ministry away from the quota system in the distribution of positions, and assigning the task to a specialized professional person capable of managing this important file that constitutes the backbone of life in the modern era." https://www.ina.iq/144559--.html
