Al-Kazemi’s advisor identifies the reasons for the failure to approve the final accounts since 2012

economic    Number of readings: 359  Baghdad / NINA / - The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, identified today, Saturday, two main factors that contributed to the failure to approve the final accounts of the state ten years ago.

Saleh told the official agency that "the final account of the state reflects the processes of applying the general budget in accordance with the legal regulations, regulations and financial instructions issued, to show the financial position of the state, because of its collectible rights and its repayable obligations."

He added that "the balance of the final account shows the increase or decrease in the state's assets or assets, which is embodied by the deficit in expenditures or the surplus in revenues during one fiscal year,"

"therefore, the government final account is one of the most important financial statements that the government prepares annually, based on the provisions of Article 34 of the effective Financial Management Law No. 6 of 2019, the amended financial statement, in order to clarify all actual expenses and revenues for the ended financial year and the resulting actual surplus or real deficit.

He pointed out that "the legislative authority was unable to approve the final account after the year 2012 until the present, that is, a decade has passed, and the state's financial position is still unknown in its details.

The end is before the legislative authority, which is the first supervisory authority in the country."

Parliamentary Energy: What Is Spent On Electricity In Iraq Is Equivalent To The Budget Of Countries

Economic    Last update 06/05/2022 | 1:19 pm  The Information/Baghdad…  A member of the Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee, Suhaila Al-Sultani, confirmed, on Sunday, that what is spent on the electricity sector is equivalent to the budget of entire countries, noting that the government failed to develop the electricity network and confront the parallel market.

Al-Sultani said in an interview seen by "The Information", "The huge amount of money spent on the electricity sector is beyond the imagination of any Iraqi citizen, and its budget is close to the budget of countries that subsist entirely on these sums that are spent on electricity in our country."

She added, "The instability of electrical energy despite the amounts spent; Its cause is rampant corruption, in addition to corruption in all parts of the state.”

She pointed out that “the government failed to develop the electricity network and also confront the parallel market, and did not take bold steps to liberalize this sector and meet the simplest requirements of citizens, and did not find radical solutions to the electricity problem..

Al-Sultani stressed, "We did not see any supervisory role for the Baghdad governorate when imposing a specific price for one ampere, as many families file complaints and find negligence from the relevant authorities with the generator owners, and the generator owners turned into merchants who deal in billions, and  the government failed to monitor and hold them accountable." finished/25   https://almaalomah.me/2022/06/05/601756/

Can The Federal Government Seize Kurdistan's Oil Revenue Funds In International Banks?

Baghdad today – Baghdad The economic expert, Nasser Al-Kinani, suggested today, Sunday, seizing Kurdistan's oil revenues, which are in international banks, to stop the illegal oil export process carried out by the region.

Al-Kinani said in a statement to (Baghdad Today), that "there is difficulty in seizing the funds of Kurdistan's oil revenues, which are in international banks, because these funds are not in the name of the Kurdistan government, but rather in the names of people within the ruling families in the region."

He added, "The region has a contract with Turkey regarding the issue of oil exports, and the Iraqi government is aware of this matter, but if it is able to terminate the contract, it is likely that this matter will result in the payment of money to the Turkish side."

Al-Kinani added, "The Iraqi government can resolve this matter amicably with the region, especially after the Federal Court issued a decision to cancel the oil and gas law in Kurdistan."

About Saving Water Again

Articles    Today, 08:16  Ibrahim Sabti  We often find and see uses of good water other than the place for which it was found.

It was found for use in homes, laboratories and factories, and not in the formation of lakes in the streets as an intentional waste and without eyelid twitching or heartburn, because the taps pour without heartache.. and this type of people is the same who uses them in a wasteful manner all the time, without deterrence or responsibility, what He leads without their knowledge that this national wealth and divine blessing, we may not find it one day, then regret is useless.

But the lack of awareness, ill-considered behavior, lack of guidance and loss of desire to rationalize, led to this extravagance, waste, extravagance and waste, which cannot be tolerated in these difficult circumstances, and we see that water in all countries of the world is going through a critical stage for many reasons, some of which are political and others Related to the factors of climate change and global warming.

In some places, we see that water suitable for human use comes out of the ground as underground springs due to the wear and tear of the pipes that carry them, due to their oldness and scarcity or lack of maintenance on them, or because of excavation works, which are carried out without prior plans,

due to the presence of the intended underground pipes, which leads to water leakage. In huge quantities and wasting them in vain, without benefiting from them.

I think there are many surprises these days in terms of water scarcity or loss.

We were surprised, amazed and pained, when we heard and saw the drying up of Lake Sawa, which is a geological and biological miracle since ancient times, and it is said to be from prehistoric times..

It is a closed lake, we have always visited it as a tourist attraction located in the desert of Muthanna Governorate.

Experts say that the disappearance of the lake due to climate change and global warming, although it does not take its water from the nearby Euphrates River, but from underground water springs.

This model is sufficient to know and realize that the future of water will be difficult and unpredictable.

Preserving this precious national wealth is the responsibility of the citizen and falls upon him, as he is the first beneficiary of it, and he must arm himself with the important culture of rationalization, and stay away from extravagance, waste and waste without benefit, or simply wasting water without feeling the importance of what results from these rejected actions.

We were greatly affected by what happened to Lake Sawa, which is important both in terms of tourism and the environment, because it alerted us that the drought is not far from other rivers and lakes in Iraq,a lesson that will have a profound impact on the souls, before it becomes an adult and affecting the fish wealth and birds migrating to it.

In addition to the large number of massive dust storms that strike Iraq these days, resulting in the widening of the desertification cycle.

The general situation has changed a lot, especially with climate change, due to the increase in human activities in relation to the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which locks up the temperatures, which will lead to the erosion of the ozone layer because of it, which leads to a serious danger that is reflected on human life on earth, including the spread of Serious diseases, food scarcity, and drying up of some water sources in the foreseeable future.

So, it is the citizen's responsibility in front of these dangers, and he must realize that the conditions are not in his favour, as long as the water sources are threatened with drought, especially the lakes and some small rivers.

Mesopotamia, which has long been rich in history with the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and spread on both sides of the civilizations that taught humanity culture and writing, are now exposed to various dangers, and the citizen first and last must be the faithful guardian of their water and the defender of the survival of this precious wealth, as a giver of life and because water is the basis of life

Without it, a person cannot live or build a civilization or civilization.   https://www.ina.iq/157704--.html
