Parliamentary Integrity Calls On The Investment Authority To Clarify The Incident Of The Collapse Of The Building In Central Baghdad
Posted On2022-10-01 By Sotaliraq Today, Saturday, the Parliamentary Integrity Committee called on the Investment Authority to clarify the incident of the collapse of the building in central Baghdad.
Committee member Sarwa Abdul Wahed said in a statement that “the National Investment Authority is required to clarify the mechanism for granting investment licenses to laboratories, clinics and private hospitals, and that what happened today in Baghdad from the collapse of a building for medical clinics due to engineering calls for a review of all approvals granted by the Investment Authority, especially the addition of a building. On dilapidated buildings, which require obtaining engineering approvals from the Municipality of Baghdad or the governorate within well-thought-out and not random plans.
And she indicated that "the Parliamentary Integrity Committee will open this file to reveal all violations related to it, whether in Baghdad or other provinces, and refer the violators to the judiciary."
Today, Saturday, the Civil Defense Directorate announced that a building in Al-Wathiq Square in central Baghdad had collapsed, while indicating that there were a number of victims.
The directorate stated in a brief statement that "the civil defense rescue teams are dealing with a building collapse incident in the Karrada area, and rescue work for detainees is continuing." LINK

Baghdad / NINA / - The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, called on the responsible authorities to open an investigation into the circumstances and causes of the disaster of the collapse of a building in Al-Wathiq Square.
Al-Hakim said in a statement: With great concern, we followed the disaster of the collapse of a building in Al-Wathiq Square in the center of the capital, Baghdad.

The Iraqi Drilling Company: We Have Completed 45 Oil Wells

The Director-General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Basem Abdul Karim Nasser, said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "the technical and engineering staff in the company completed in the third quarter of this year the drilling and reclamation of 45 oil wells for the benefit of national extraction companies and international companies operating."
He added, "The company is moving forward to expand its scope of work in drilling and reclamation of oil wells."
He pointed out that "the company is in the process of concluding a number of new contracts for drilling and reclamation of oil wells in the Rumaila oil field in favor of BP, Nahr Bin Omar field for the Basra Oil Company and East Baghdad field for the Central Oil Company, in addition to continuing to implement the current contracts with national and international companies."
He continued, "The company owns 43 drilling and reclamation rigs, including 30 modern devices whose work is distributed in the Iraqi oil fields from north to south." Ended 29/R77

According to the preliminary statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO", received by Mawazine News, the total amount of crude oil exports amounted to (98) million (765) thousand and (153) barrels, with revenues of (8.773) billion dollars.
The statistics indicated that the total exported quantities of crude oil for the month of September from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (96) million and (445) thousand and (421) barrels. One million and (169) thousand and (180) barrels, and the average daily quantities amounted to (3) million and (292) thousand barrels per day, and the average price per barrel amounted to more than (88.83) dollars.
