The Authority's Prevention Department referred to the Prime Minister's directive that the authority should coordinate with the Border Ports Authority to follow up on the implementation of the recommendations issued by the detailed report on the meeting of the two bodies with the authorities operating at the ports, indicating in a report that it conducted visits to the border crossings and customs authorities; To follow up on the implementation of the recommendations of the detailed report.

To ensure that it is not falsified and to link the customs exemptions program with (the National Investment Authority, the General Authority of Customs, and the General Directorate of Industrial Development in the Ministry of Finance) through a special window for each department; In addition to activating the electronic certificate of origin program to ensure that the certificate and commercial invoice are sent electronically, and to prevent forgery of transaction documents, the General Authority of Customs embarked on the first phase of implementing the customs procedures automation contract signed with UNCTAD in accordance with the standards International, and the General Tax Authority in coordination with the Ports Authority; To establish mechanisms for working in tax units.

A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Kougar, said in a statement to Al-Mada that "the state ministries have started implementing the Food Security Emergency Support Law, and there is no intention to make amendments to it in order to include more amounts."

Cougar added, "If Parliament wants to add new amounts from the surplus, it can legislate a new law similar to the current law."

He pointed out, "The current law has been implemented by about 90%, and most of the amounts set for the current government, which amount to more than 18 trillion dinars, have been spent."

Cougar stated, "The legislation of this law had its justifications, and the House of Representatives moved to pass it through a proposal submitted by the committee at the time."

For his part, the economic expert, Safwan Qusay, said in a statement to (Al-Mada), that “the implementation of the food security law is evident in the continuation of securing the items of the ration card and the food basket and the settlement of the dues of the Iranian side for the supply of gas to power stations, in addition to paying the dues of farmers for the previous year and the current season. “.

Qusay continued, "The process of increasing the injection of funds into the Iraqi environment will positively affect the gross domestic product, given that these funds will be circulated in order to create job opportunities."

He pointed out, "The local economy is waiting for more funds to be pumped in order to create a state of stability, especially since the costs of life have risen as a result of reliance on imports."

Qusay stated, "The current law has helped increase the Ministry of Agriculture's ability to import fertilizers and seeds in a way that will reflect positively on the next season."

And he spoke about "funds that still exist and are supposed to go to the governorates at the level of regional development, amounting to 8 trillion dinars, with a thousand job grades for each governorate, which needs to be activated, with the appointment of the first to universities and the holders of higher degrees."

Qusay concluded, "These areas have allocated funds, but their entitlements have not been settled until the present time, and job grades have been released, and this means that 50% of the food security law funds have not been spent."

The spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Moussa, said, "We agreed with the Jordanian side to complete the work quickly, and it is hoped that the connection will be completed by next summer, i.e. mid-2023."

Regarding Turkey, Moussa explained: “We have completed the lines (Slobi – Fayda), Gezra – Mosul, and the Kasik station with a capacity of 400 megawatts in all its branches, and we signed the final operating agreement with the Turkish side, which provided for the provision of 300 megawatts as a first stage for the northern governorates.”

He added, "The crisis in providing gas globally after the increase in demand for it as a result of the scarcity due to the Russian-Ukrainian war led to a rise in prices, and we are currently discussing the issue of tariffs, and as soon as reasonable prices are agreed upon, the Iraqi-Turkish agreement will enter into force."

Regarding the Gulf connection and what has been achieved from it between Moussa, “Iraq has completed the lines of (Faw Number One) and (Faw Abu Flous Number Two), and we hope now that an agreement will be made on the connection line between the Iraqi Al-Faw station and the Kuwaiti Al-Zour station, which will be a length of 220 km, 80 How many of them will be inside Iraq and the rest in Kuwait, and we got a good tariff and good prices.”

And he added: “With regard to the connection with Saudi Arabia, we have signed an agreement stipulating that the carrier lines will link between Iraq and Saudi Arabia through the Arar port and Al-Youssoufia station.

He pointed out that "the interconnection projects with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will give reliability, readiness and high stability to the electrical system and pave the way for Iraq to be an important member of the Gulf and Arab energy market, while investing its strategic location to be a link and ruler over the transmission lines and an energy corridor between the Gulf and West Asian countries."

In turn, energy expert Bilal Khalifa says, "The Gulf electrical connection is addressed from two sides: the first is the citizen who is not interested in the mechanism and how energy is increased and improved as much as he is interested in increasing the hours of electricity, whether it is from the Gulf, Iran or others."

He added that "the second aspect is politics and the economy, and sometimes the aspect is useful when the megawatts are high, and sometimes it is not feasible if the connection is long-range, such as Egypt."

3- The members of the interim government pledge not to run for the upcoming parliamentary elections, to be held in 2023.

Second: The tasks of the interim government should be specific to the following:

1- Preparing the draft federal budget law for the year 2023 within a period of forty-five days from the date of its formation.

2- Activating the parties’ law and not allowing any party that owns an armed faction to participate in the upcoming elections.

3- Starting to hold the killers of the demonstrators of the great October Revolution accountable, opening the file of the disappeared, the files of corruption and theft of public money, and returning the stolen money.

4- Working to hold the next parliamentary elections on September 1, 2023.

5- Full international supervision of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Third: The current House of Representatives undertakes:

1- Voting on the federal general budget for 2023.

2- Making constitutional amendments, including the form of the system, and reformulating texts that are likely to interpret and treat all cases of constitutional omission.

3- Completion of important laws directly related to the life of the citizen.

The statement concluded, "We hope that all the national forces and the benevolent free representatives will interact with this initiative for the purpose of its success and make more efforts to get out of the current crisis."
