Samson: Trump's surprise visit to Afghanistan

US President Donald Trump made a surprise visit to Afghanistan on Thursday, where he met with its president, Ashraf Ghani.
The plane landed on Thursday evening at Bagram Air Force Base, carrying First Lady Melania Trump, his national security adviser, Robert O'Brien, and a small group of White House aides, Secret Service agents, and journalists. A visit to Afghanistan since taking office in 2017.
And Trump held in Bagram talks with the Afghan president, during which they discussed the issue of reaching an agreement with the "Taliban" on the declaration of a ceasefire in the country. Trump also met with the US military serving at Bagram, where he distributed Thanksgiving food.

26th November, 2019 Discussed the parliamentary Finance Committee with the Governor of the Central Bank and Director General of the Tax Authority, on Tuesday, the correction of fiscal policy and non-dependence on oil.
"The committee hosted today, the Governor of the Central Bank and the Director General of the Tax Authority to discuss the issue of maximizing non-oil revenues and assessing the monetary and economic policy of the country," MP Haitham al-Jubouri said in a statement received.

DELTA: Iraq: Following the joint World Bank – WTO Workshop on the Accession of Iraq, which took place in Beirut on 25-26 July, the Secretariat, the World Bank and the Government of Iraq are working towards organizing a High-Level Conference on the WTO Accession of Iraq, in Baghdad, at the end of November.
The conference is intended to facilitate the formal reactivation of the accession process. A visit to Baghdad by the Chairman of the Working Party, Ambassador Omar Hilale (Morocco), is envisaged to take place at the same time as the conference.

MilitiaMan: I don't believe this is an aside for not paying the 250,000 barrels a day to Baghdad. In fact it is above and beyond that amount that could be sold.
This bodes very well for the Kurds and us as investors, as it will seal the agreement for the implementation of the 2019 Federal Budget Law that will usher in the 2020 Budget cycle to come (imo) that has the Kurdistan's Regional share of it inside.
Pence has ushered in what appears to be the foundation for the final agreement set for tomorrow in Baghdad. Keep in mind the salaries that will need to be paid.

24th November, 2019 The office of US Vice President Mike Pence, on Sunday, issued a statement on the latter's visit to Iraq.
"The US vice president arrived at Assad's airbase where he listened to a summary of the joint task force commander about Operation Torque Solidarity and made a phone call to the Iraqi prime minister," the office said in a statement.
"After that, the Vice President gave a Thanksgiving meal to the American soldiers stationed at Assad Air Base and delivered a speech. Later, the US Vice President continued his tour to Erbil International Airport for a bilateral meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and then delivered the Vice President. A letter to the American soldiers stationed there and gave them a Thanksgiving meal. "

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi's office issued a statement on Saturday on US Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Baghdad at noon.
"US Vice President Mike Pence paid an agreed visit to Iraq during which he inspected his country's forces at the Iraqi base of Ain al-Asad as part of the international coalition that is supporting Iraqi forces in the fight against IS," Abdul Mahdi's office said in a statement received.
