I personally think the GCR has a direct effect on a nation revaluing their currency, but only in that the goal set forth for the 209 nations on board with the GCR is 1:1 leveling the field for all nations. IMO, they can still avoid raising the value of their currency if they want.

Yes you are wrong. At the start of the occupation the Central Bank of Kuwait went into exile and it was always the intention to return the Kuwait Dinar as the national currency of Kuwait.

The currency was returned as the national currency at the end of the occupation with the same value as it had prior to the occupation. They then issued a new series of the currency to prevent Iraqis from spending stolen currency. As far as bank balances,assets etc were concerned,nothing really changed.

The whole story was distorted by tales of huge profits from speculators, mainly Americans buying up unusable currency from desperate Kuwaitis.
