Economy News – Baghdad   The Integrity Commission's Investigation Department revealed that its directorates and investigative offices carried out a number of seizures in Baghdad and the provinces in November 2019.

The department said in a statement issued by the Integrity Commission on Sunday that there were 34 seizures during the month, with corruption values amounting to more than 400 billion dinars.

The department added that the seizure of smuggled artifacts worth up to $200 million was carried out in the possession of six defendants in Dhi Qar, the most prominent of which is the operation.

The department added that among the operations, the seizure of non-conforming materials contracted under 13 contracts worth $80.1 million at Basra Oil Company, pointing out that all the dues of the processors have been paid since 2012.

She added: In addition, the governor of Kirkuk distributed 25 billion dinars of funds for projects to maintain the owners of companies with whom they have personal and partisan relations, and the existence of irregularities in the implementation and disbursement, and spent large amounts of money as a hospitality to the provincial office.

Economy News – Baghdad   The Integrity Commission's Investigation Department revealed that its directorates and investigative offices carried out a number of seizures in Baghdad and the provinces in November 2019.

The department said in a statement issued by the Integrity Commission on Sunday that there were 34 seizures during the month, with corruption values amounting to more than 400 billion dinars.

The department added that the seizure of smuggled artifacts worth up to $200 million was carried out in the possession of six defendants in Dhi Qar, the most prominent of which is the operation.

The department added that among the operations, the seizure of non-conforming materials contracted under 13 contracts worth $80.1 million at Basra Oil Company, pointing out that all the dues of the processors have been paid since 2012.

She added: In addition, the governor of Kirkuk distributed 25 billion dinars of funds for projects to maintain the owners of companies with whom they have personal and partisan relations, and the existence of irregularities in the implementation and disbursement, and spent large amounts of money as a hospitality to the provincial office.
