Tishwash: Baghdad and Erbil express their readiness to implement the terms of the 2021 budget
The federal and Kurdistan governments expressed, on Monday, their readiness to implement the provisions of the financial budget for the current year 2021.
This came in a meeting between the Minister of Finance of the Kurdistan Region, Awat Sheikh Janab, with the Federal Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, in the capital, Baghdad, according to a statement issued by the finance of the region received by Shafaq News.
The statement stated that the two sides discussed “the mechanism for implementing the federal budget law for the current year and what is the responsibility of the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Kurdistan Regional Government.”
According to the statement, the two sides expressed their readiness to implement the law.
This meeting comes within the framework of the visit started on Sunday by a delegation representing the Kurdistan Regional Government headed by Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, to discuss the implementation of the financial budget items.
The delegation is expected to hold talks with the Federal Ministry of Oil to discuss the oil file and prepare a joint report to be delivered to the Federal Ministry of Finance.
In early February, the Iraqi parliament approved the country’s financial budget for the current year, with a total expenditure of 129 trillion dinars, and a deficit of 28 trillion.
The budget also stipulated that the Kurdistan Region would deliver 250 thousand barrels of oil per day, in addition to half of Baghdad’s other financial revenues, in return for an estimated share of 12.6 percent of the budget.
The Kurdistan Regional Government hopes to start implementing the budget items to resume the budget payments that have been suspended for nearly a year, including the salaries of the region’s employees. link

China's top banking regulator said he’s "very worried" about risks emerging from bubbles in global financial markets.
Liang Tao, vice chairman of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, said at the International Finance Forum in Beijing that recent interest rate hikes by emerging economies could lead to a bursting of global financial asset bubbles which have been made even bigger by unprecedented easing measures by developed countries.
Tao added that developed countries are sticking with ultra-low rates even as emerging economies raised their borrowing costs, "potentially resulting in the re-pricing of global assets.
" What's worse is He encouraged emerging economies to embrace their more controlled economic measures in defense of the excess money printing.
The value of the dollar is of critical importance to many emerging markets and the fact the larger developed nations are in a race to the bottom doesn't fair well for the nations currently tightening interest rates to stave of currency issues.
They also risk the economic effects of a global repricing of assets like commodities for example.

Funds were completing allocation to Tier 1-4, while deliveries of CMKX, Farm Claims and Native American settlements has hit over 30%, which then satisfied an agreement to allow the Shotgun RV release at any time forward.
Banks around the world were scrambling to be on the new Banking System by June 1, the same date that it was expected to find an implementation of NESARA/GESARA.
Basel 3 implementation was planned for June 28.
There would be fourteen days of Zim redemption and currency exchanges at the special rates, though appointments could be set up to 30 days away.
After the fourteen days, Zim redemption and the special rates would end (unless you had made an appointment at a Redemption Center for in that 30 day window) and then the general public would begin exchanging at the new international rates.

The foundation of any country's reserves is their gold...now, as they have been collecting those 3-zero notes and getting rid of them what they have been doing aggressively as you know over the last 6 months...that goes to decreasing the note count which would increase the value of the currency that's outstanding, that's out there in the markets both international and internal. To me the reserves are covered. I have no question they've got the reserves covered to reflect a very strong dinar...

MP for Al-Hikma Movement, Jasim Mohan Al-Bakhati, suggested that the Minister of Finance, Muhammad Allawi, will not be questioned during today's session, despite its inclusion on the agenda, citing several reasons.
Al-Bakhati said in a statement to "the information", "Today's session will not witness the questioning of the Minister of Finance by the questioner, Yousef Al-Kalabi, for a number of reasons."
He added, "There is information that the Minister of Finance will not attend the session, trying to postpone it for another time. The security conditions that the country is going through are also one of the factors that will not allow the interrogation for fear of not being politicized."
Al-Bukhati added, "As for the other and important reason, it is the lack of any political consensus to give the green light to the Minister of Finance to come to the parliament and confront the interrogator." LINK

A correspondent of Mawazine News stated, on Monday, that protest activists and coordinators in the country are gathering for "large" demonstrations, which are scheduled to start tomorrow in the capital, Baghdad.
Our correspondent said, "The activists and coordinators have been gathering for days to hold a large demonstration in Baghdad on Tuesday, and they considered this demonstration a renewal in the protest movement that began on October 1, 2019."
He added, "The protesters have identified three points for the demonstration, which are the Al-Firdaws, Al-Tahrir and Al-Nisour squares in the capital, Baghdad." LINK

Samson: Member of Parliamentary Finance: Parliament intends to question five ministers

A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee said that the House of Representatives intends to question five ministers.
In a press statement, Jamal Cougar said, "Five ministers are scheduled to be questioned during the upcoming parliamentary sessions, according to the words of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi," explaining that "the ministers are electricity, finance, agriculture, industry, planning or higher education."
And that "among the axes of the questioning of the Minister of Finance under the dome of Parliament is related to the Central Bank of Iraq, as well as the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar, as well as the large general budget number, in addition to the issue of neglecting their contracts breached." And the Iraqi Ministry of Finance confirmed earlier, that the 2021 budget did not include any allocations for those whose contracts were canceled.
Earlier, a number of deputies close to the crowd indicated that the return of those whose contracts had been canceled from the popular crowd to service was included in the 2021 budget, with two signs to confirm the clause of adding 30,000 job degrees to return their contracts with canceled members of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of Iraq has resorted to reducing the price of the dinar against the dollar, in order to reduce the deficit in the federal budget for the year 2021, but with the rise in oil prices, expectations have spread about raising the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar again.

Samson: Karbala: Overthrowing "corrupt" government employees and drug dealers

A security source in Karbala stated, on Monday, that government employees "corrupt" were arrested in a real estate department, as the provincial police overthrew a network specialized in drug trafficking in possession of more than 2000 pills.
The source told Shafaq News that a team from the Integrity Investigations Office in Karbala governorate, accompanied by a security force, raided, today, the Real Estate Registration Department and arrested a number of employees accused of taking bribes from the auditors after receiving numerous complaints against them.
Also in the governorate, the detachments of the Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances managed to arrest a gang specialized in drug trafficking, consisting of three people intending to trade these pills inside the city, according to a statement issued by the Karbala police and received by Shafaq News.
According to the statement, the detachments of the Narcotics Affairs Department monitored the three persons and tracked their movements until they were seized in possession of a large quantity of 2432 narcotic pills, indicating that they were seized according to a seizure report. The statement indicated that the three persons confessed to trading in narcotic substances, bringing them from outside the governorate and selling them inside Karbala, confirming their referral to the judiciary. Don961: The US Central Bank is intensifying its efforts to explore a digital version of the dollar

US Federal Reserve member Lyle Brainard said on Monday that the US central bank is stepping up efforts to explore the potential development of a digital version of the dollar.
This came at a time when an increasing number of consumers are using digital payments and while other governments are moving forward with issuing digital currencies.
As the world's largest holder of reserve currency, Brainard added, the United States should be actively involved as digital payments become more common and other countries develop digital currencies that can be used to send money across borders.
She stated that the Federal Reserve is stepping up its research and public participation on a digital version of the US dollar.
She explained that the central bank must also anticipate changes in consumer trends and ensure that Americans have "safe cash from the central bank" as digital payments become more popular. link
