Biden added: We will continue to stand by Iraq and work for greater stability throughout the Middle East.
He continued: When Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and I met in the Oval Office last month, we discussed Iraq's important role in the region and the significant efforts led by the Government of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Regional Government, to improve and strengthen relations between Iraq and its neighbors.
He said: Diplomacy should be the first tool of our foreign policy, and we are grateful to have partners who share this vision.
He added: We are committed to strengthening our bilateral relations with Iraq under the Strategic Framework Agreement.

Macron promises to open a French consulate in Mosul
Sunday 29 August 2021 14:00 ............. French President Emmanuel Macron promised, during his visit to the city of Mosul, that a French consulate in Yemen would soon open.
Macron said in a press statement: "The Consulate will work to follow up the reconstruction of the churches of Mosul in general, specifically the Old Clock Church, and to facilitate the reconstruction process of the Al-Nuri Mosque."

Sunday 29 August 2021 15:23 ................................. The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, considered the document presented to him, which resulted in boycotting the elections, as the first stage of political reform.
This came in a brief statement bearing his signature and seal, the text of which stated: "This document is considered a (first stage of political reform) and there are other stages that will come successively... I hope that these points will be achieved within the specified time limit."

Yahya Rasoul to / NINA /: Iraq will sign new contracts with France to arm the army and air force
Sunday 29 August 2021 17:36 ............................. Major General Yahya Rasoul, the official spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, revealed Iraq's intention to contract with France to equip and arm Air Force planes and Iraqi army formations.
Rasoul said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "France is a superpower that participated in the fight against terrorism, and its role was clear through the air strikes of the international coalition on the hideouts of ISIS gangs, and the exchange of intelligence information with the Iraqi forces in the liberation operations."
He added, "There have been many Iraqi visits to France during the last period, as well as Iraqi-French military coordination in the fields of training and armament. We are about to organize a series of new deals and contracts in the fields of air defense and equipping aircraft to complement the arming of the Iraqi army and air force."

The expert in economic affairs, Dr. Hussein Al-Khaqani, suggested to the Central Bank to digitally reintroduce small denominations, which would provide sums for the public, after amending the digital banking system. Al-Khaqani said that {small cash denominations, which are less than 250 dinars, if they are collected and accumulated annually, the citizen will get good savings from them, instead of wasting them on buying goods that are not worth their real value.
