He added, "The governor met with the Saudi Central Bank administration on the sidelines of this visit, where the Saudi side welcomed the governor and his accompanying delegation, considering this visit a gateway to deepening relations between the two brotherly countries and the two monetary institutions, and a step that will positively reflect on both sides."

An authorized source in the bank said in a press statement: “The Central Bank continues to provide the necessary financing to the real estate bank to complete the transactions of lending to citizens who registered until September 15, 2021 on housing units outside investment housing complexes.”

Wednesday 20 October 2021 Sales of the Central Bank of Iraq rose for the second day in a row, Wednesday, from the US dollar, to record more than 155 million dollars.

The statement indicated that "the purchases amounting to 106 million, 342 thousand and 791 dollars went to strengthen balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, while the remaining amount of 49 million and 530 thousand dollars went in cash."
