The petrol dollar controlled opec and who controlled the petro dollar and now you know who made you pay a 150% premium on the price of your gasoline for most of the last 3 presidents… every penny gasoline is raised is around $1 billion a year just in the United States of America. Globally it is much more.

The deputy of the Iraqi coalition, Salem Tuhimer, said Thursday that the new US strategy towards Iraq seeks to ensure a longer stay in the country.
"The United States of America is using the strategy of maneuver to secure its interests for a longer period in Iraq , " Tohimer said , stressing that "Washington does not want to leave Iraq without achieving its commercial and investment goals."
He pointed out that "the Iraqi people reject the American presence and expect the negotiator to remove these forces as soon as possible."
The Supreme Commander of US forces in the Middle East, General Kenneth Mackenzie, announced that US troop levels in Iraq and Syria will likely decrease in the coming months, but he indicated that he has not yet received orders to start withdrawing forces. link

Jeff ...we will not see a rate change until Kurdistan and Baghdad resolve their difference and reach that comprehensive agreement. It's that simple. That's really the #1 thing that you guys have seen since the beginning of this year...all the articles coming out have been talking about Kurdistan and Baghdad reaching a comprehensive agreement. IMO they will not reach an agreement until September. You guys know September is red hot...Iraq only has money to cover them through August...they just told you they are not going to be borrowing anymore money.
Austin-Powers-For-PM Think about this for a minute. There have been lots of LOP's over the years. How does a country behave before a LOP? They spell it out in a VERY crystal-clear fashion for the population. They tell them in a totally unmistakable way that their large note will be the same value as the smaller note, and that the large note has a very short life span in the marketplace before they become worthless. Has Iraq in any way, shape, or form indicated any of this to their population? NO!! As a matter of fact, they have been very coy in how they are treating the "removing the 3 zeros" and have stated very clearly that the large notes will CO-EXIST with the lower denominations. I can't see from Iraq's behavior how this could be a LOP.
