The political analyst, Saad Muhammad Al-Kaabi, said that the postponement of the parliament session to next Wednesday is an attempt to buy votes from MPs and other blocs with the aim of achieving the number required to pass the presidential candidate.

Al-Kaabi told Al-Maalouma, "The tripartite alliance offering temptations and agreeing to the terms of some parties and political blocs is an attempt to collect the largest possible number of votes to pass the presidential candidate supported by Barzani."

They actually did a good job in getting their finance committee seated & sworn in, since they can access the white papers & implement changes ASAP when in a position to do so! This is a positive thing to have seen them do.

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi called, today, Sunday, for political forces to form a government that works "as soon as possible" to serve its people, stressing the need for all work and integration to cross the "dangerous stage."
