Tishwash: Iraq and Iran sign memoranda of understanding in various trade fields

The Ahwaz Chamber of Commerce in Iran announced on Thursday the signing of several memoranda of understanding in the commercial fields with Iraq, stressing that the implementation of these memoranda should always be on the agenda of the two parties to increase the momentum of developing trade between the two countries.

The Vice President of the Ahwaz Chamber of Commerce, Shahla Amouri, stated that "Iran and Iraq, as two neighboring countries, have a very good relationship of friendship and cooperation at the regional level, and this can be developed in various fields to achieve the economic interests of both sides."

And she stressed that "the establishment of specialized exhibitions for Iranian products in Iraq, as well as the acceptance of business delegations in Iran will lead to the best presentation of the economic potentials of our country's producers."

Among the practical memoranda between the two countries, Amouri referred to "cooperation in export guarantee funds, a memorandum of understanding in the field of exhibitions, land and transit agreements, railways, and a memorandum of understanding in the field of customs affairs."
