In order to build bridges of communication between the Kurdistan Region and foreign countries on Wednesday, the first World Peace Conference was held in Kurdistan in the presence of Deputy Speaker of Parliament Heiman Hawrami, and the President of the Regional Parliament Youth.
The Deputy Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament in a speech, "months ago from now a number of our youth visited the Kurdistan Parliament, demanding the opportunity to invite a number of young people from outside the region to hold this conference in the parliament and support them in this, and we told them that the Kurdistan Parliament House for each of the sons This people is open to you to hold your conference." Hawrami also stressed that "Parliament is proud to host this conference of the World Summit for Peace, which operates and has activities in more than 150 countries."
In a part of his speech, the Deputy Speaker highlighted the "peaceful coexistence experienced by the Kurdistan Region despite the multiplicity of nationalities and sects that have adopted the principle of peace as a slogan." Kurdistan and its people to practice what they believe in and did not respond to them similarly. He continued, "The people of Kurdistan are proud of the peace they believe in, and that the struggle of this people has always been based on the foundations of democracy and lasting peace."
Hawrami also talked about the work of the Kurdistan Parliament to build lasting peace and peaceful coexistence in the region, and the presence of so many representatives of countries and international organizations and companies operating in the Kurdistan region indicates the stability enjoyed by the region and a clear signal to all countries of the world that Kurdistan believes in the principle of peace and peaceful coexistence.
