A Presidential Statement Confirming That The President Of The Republic Did Not Object To The Borrowing Law
The Presidency of the Republic confirmed that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, did not object to the borrowing law that Parliament had approved a few days ago.
The presidency said in a statement, "The media and social networking sites reported that the President of the Republic had objected to the borrowing law, and we would like to make it clear that the president did not object to the bill."
The statement added, "The law has been enforced since its promulgation by Parliament, and salaries have been distributed to state departments based on the issuance of the law."
The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Karim Al Kaabi, confirmed earlier that the President of the Republic has no right to veto laws or object to them and return them to Parliament.

Ministry Of Transport: Next Week, The Company Executing The Port Of Faw Will Be Decided

Al-Shibli said, "The Ministry of Transport is still continuing to negotiate with the Korean Daewoo Company," pointing out that "there is a disagreement with the Korean company regarding the amounts and the duration."
He added, "At the same time, the Ministry of Transport has a second line for talks with a Chinese company," noting that "next week, the decision will be decided on which one is to sign for the implementation of the Faw port project."
On the other hand, Al-Shibli confirmed that "the transit is under study, and a meeting was held on this topic, and that another meeting will be held to determine the time of commencing the transit, and its wages."
Earlier, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Al Kaabi, stressed that the Faw port should be at the level of international ports.
A statement stated, “Al-Kaabi chaired an expanded meeting of the Parliamentary Reconstruction and Services Committee, in the presence of a number of representatives of the parliamentary committees, Minister of Transport Nasser Hussein Bandar, and a number of ministry officials, to discuss the file of the large FAO project.

Al-Karawi said in a press statement, that “Iraq’s financial crisis, despite its seriousness and negative repercussions on the economy and the lives of millions, revealed the seriousness of the erroneous government approach to relying on oil as a main source of financing the country's treasury for decades without paying attention to the importance of investing the rest of other natural resources, including gas. It represents a wealth that is no less important than oil, especially with an increasing demand for it in global markets.
Al-Karawi added, "The Mansouriya gas field, east of Diyala, is the largest field in Iraq due to its enormous reserves, and perhaps if it is studied again, there may be a surprise that it may be the largest in the Middle East," pointing out, "the need to invest it through the establishment of a company to manage it." If funds are not available, then there will be a framework for popular participation through the frameworks recognized by individuals from different segments of the people.
Al-Karawi pointed out that "the Mansouriya gas field can support the Iraqi treasury with 10% of its revenue within a few years, and these represent very huge sums in addition to creating self-sufficiency for all power plants and ending the energy crisis that has been going on for more than 20 years without any radical solutions."

She added, "We have successful projects, but we have not shed light on them and we have the largest sugar factory in the Arab world."
She pointed out that "there is a grant of land for free or at a symbolic amount, and a price cannot be forced on the investor because we are in a free economy," indicating that "the central economy hinders the development of the private sector and the movement of investments, and the profit margin from investments is very large, reaching 400%."
Najjar continued.
And she emphasized, "If the investor does not build, we will withdraw these vacations," noting that "Iraq today is able to rebuild itself with its money and self-resources. The cash liquidity is present in homes, gold or real estate.
Unfortunately, the citizen has not yet participated in the investment process and our goal is to advance the Iraqi economy."

Electricity Denies The Trend To Terminate The Services Of Its Employees From Contracts And Wages
Money and business Economy News _ Baghdad On Friday, the Ministry of Electricity denied a move to end the services of its wage and contract holders' employees.
In a statement seen by Al-Eqtisad News, the ministry stated, “In implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 59, and a reference to the instructions issued by the Ministry to transfer 61% of contracts and wages to work in the collection of electricity wages, the salaries and allowances of those transferred remain on the same Resolution No. 315, i.e. the same salary.
They have nothing to do with the issue of Resolution No. 341, and their salaries and allowances will not change. "
She added that those who work to collect electricity wages do not necessarily work by obtaining money from citizens, as there are several departments such as energy sales, transfer of sums, programmers, classifying systems, treasurers, checklists and accountants, indicating that all these works fall under the name of tax collectors.
The ministry indicated that whoever will be named in the collection lists of those transferred to the collection will be his work in the nearest sector or distribution department to his place of residence, and any error mentioned that does not match the proximity of the place of residence will be modified.
She explained that there is absolutely no intention of the ministry to suspend or terminate a contract or work for anyone, neither from contracts nor from wages or from metrics readers, calling for not to listen to what is promoted from other than the official sources of the ministry.
And she emphasized that as soon as the funds are released from the Ministry of Finance in favor of electricity from the central collection funds, the ministry will pay the dues of contracts and wages directly.
