If you read the paragraph direct from the IMF to Iraq in the Article IV Consultation it makes no sense that they would be referencing devaluing the currency in also at the same time be talking about the Balassa -Samuelson effect. Do you know what that is?
Have you ever read the definition. Those are contradicting references. Don't misunderstand me I in no way believe that this is a quick fix. It's going to take time they need to create the conditions first and then hope investors come and when they do there should be significant Improvement in the dinar as a result but this isn't going to happen overnight it may take even years. But that is the intent. I think the economist and again this is my opinion believe Iraq could be another Dubai if the conditions are created.
