Al-Nashi ruled, that "fish deaths are caused by the presence of environmental pollution or the possibility of fish being exposed to a viral infection," noting that "this case was repeated during separate periods due to resorting to this wrong method by some fishermen."

He pointed out that "it is necessary for the fishermen to abstain from resorting to this type of fishing because it causes a great loss in fish wealth, and leads to its loss in such an important water surface in addition to causing pollution of the marsh waters and the loss of the aquatic life in which they live."   LINK
