Samson: IMF expects significant growth for Iraq

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) raised the growth forecast for Iraq, while reducing it to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar and Kuwait.
The IMF said in its new World Economic Outlook that growth in Iraq, the region's second-largest oil exporter after Saudi Arabia, is expected to pick up after its economy contracted by 0.6 percent last year.
The IMF lowered its growth forecast for Saudi Arabia and Iran, the two largest economies in the Middle East, on the back of US sanctions, regional tensions and falling oil prices. LINK

Doodlebug: Family, when this Article was first given to us by Walkingstick (thank you Sir) in 2018, it was HUGE! It was a great example of what a successful currency reform might look like. There were students here that took this article very seriously and studied it daily... and some still do to this to this day.
Last night during the Conference Call, Frank and Walkingstick mentioned this article again. This wasn't mentioned just for the heck of it. Here, just look at this part of the article and see if it sounds familiar:
"Important as all these preparations are, the success of a currency reform depends just as much on a successful public education campaign. The central bank needs to coordinate this campaign with other agencies, financial sector representatives, merchants, and the general public. A delicate balance must be struck between providing sufficient public information and the need for confidentiality to avoid releasing clues to counterfeiters that could be used to undermine the integrity of the new currency."

So, the rv starts gaining momentum and Iran attacks Saudi Arabia and there is a pause because of instability.
Then, once things settle down and things appear to be getting close enough that we can taste it, protests which had been peaceful for years suddenly become violent, causing a constitutional crisis in Iraq and left the govt teetering. There are also numerous reports that Iran had activated sleeper cells to shoot live rounds at protesters. Again, there appears to be a pause to the RI during the turmoil.
I'm not guaranteeing anything, because this is pure opinion based on incomplete information, but if I had to put my money down on who the wizard is behind the curtain throwing monkey wrenches into the gears of the RI, I'd pick Iran everytime.

Samson: Reveal the visit of a high Kurdish delegation to resolve the 2020 budget

MP of the Kurdistan Islamic Group, Salim Hamza, on Saturday, Baghdad is expecting a visit by a high-level Kurdish delegation to Baghdad to resolve the issue of the budget 2020, noting that the delegation postponed his visit to Baghdad because of the demonstrations.
Hamza said in a statement to the information that "a high-level Kurdish delegation will arrive in the next few days to Baghdad to resolve the 2020 budget file." He added that "the delegation will be represented by one of the presidencies of the region to accelerate the resolution of outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil and open a new page of understandings during the next year."
Hamza explained that "the delegation postponed his visit several times because of the preoccupation of the political blocs in Baghdad file demonstrations and resolve service issues without preoccupation with political issues between Baghdad and Erbil." LINK

The Kurdistan Finance Committee, on Saturday, that the Kurdistan Regional Government sent several delegations to the federal government to pressure them to pass the region's share within the draft federal budget law for 2020.
A member of the Committee Siham al-Aqili in a statement to / information /, "The government of Erbil sent high-level delegations continuously during the past period to pressure the federal government to pass the region's share within the draft federal budget law for 2020″, pointing out that" the House of Representatives Egypt not to Pass the region's share in the 2020 budget until he received oil money.”

According to World Gold Council data, in the first eight months of 2019, dozens of central banks increased gold reserves by 1 At least tons.
Four central banks became major gold buyers in August.
Turkey added to its reserves gold in large quantities, storing 41.8 tons of yellow metal.
Russia, which pioneered gold purchases in 2019, added another 11.3 tonnes to its stockpile. Russia's central bank gold reserves in September exceeded $ 100 billion. Thanks to recent purchases, Russia this year alone has increased its gold reserves by about 120 tons.

CURRENT STATUS OF OKIE OILMAN!!!! Okie went to his doctor yesterday and was informed that he needs a lung transplant. This is a sad moment in this long dinarland journey for all of us. He has been a true leader in this battle and a great gentleman. We are asking for prayers for Okie's health and for the miracle of funding to secure the lung transplant. He has been an inspiration to us all and now we need to support him with the miracle of God's hand to resolve his situation

Interesting they delayed this session until late in the day.......we will be watching this closely....IMO
Karbala includes Sunday as Holiday.........Keep in mind the mass migration for this holiday is to Karbala.......watching for announced holiday from Secretary of COM....would be very interesting if it includes Sunday........
It will also be interesting if it includes Tuesday as we know the COM has a planned meeting Tuesday.....
