BAGHDAD, Feb 4 (Reuters) - "Iraq has banned eight local commercial banks from engaging in U.S. dollar transactions, taking action to reduce fraud, money laundering and other illegal uses of U.S. currency days after a visit by a top U.S. Treasury official."

The Iraqi Banks have been banned from accessing the Iraqi Central Bank's daily dollar auction.

The daily dollar auction has become a way of smuggling dollars for Iran, and this is expected to restrain much of those activities.

This is part of the economic and financial reforms Iraq is going through to meet International Banking Standards and achieve International connectivity.

The IMF currently has a Working Paper. A Working Paper is preliminary research that enables a new project, or in this case, a new digital asset based trading system to have a working model to test its theories.

We already know the new digital asset based trading system is being tested and the payment networks through the use of stablecoins are already in pilot programs.

These pilot programs allow the QFS to be viewed to see how they're working model is going to operate Globally. This is where regulations come into play allowing us to formulate a final paper called a White Paper.

A White Paper allows us to take research material into pilot phase programs whereby recommendations and implementation processes are given direction to proceed.

We are in process of moving to White Papers that will allow us to move forward with technological interfaces that will be used in the digital asset-based trading system.

The US Treasury Department and the G7 including the European Union came up with this caping of oil production to ensure price stability during times of inflation.  

Gold and other commodities have been suppressed as well during this time of inflation. It, too, has the tendency to rise during inflationary periods. During the pandemic, many of our gold mines were shut down. In 2023, we had a surge in gold and commodity mining.

These stabilizing efforts have served their purpose for the last few years to take us into controlled price measures. And now, we are in a place of new Economic Development.

Releasing caps on oil mining and gold mining as the new QFS began to connect with Quantum Technologies around the world has given us the opportunity to synchronize our commodity sector with the new digital asset based trading system.

As we move into the months of February and March, look for large swings in the market as we approach the March 11th deadline.

New tokenized assets will be coming on board to replace old traditional banking assets that used to stand on their own.

These new assets will have commodities interfaced with them, giving them new values. Inflation will rear its ugly head during this transition, and it will begin to put price pressures on gold to calm the uncharted seas.

The initial shock will be like sailing into a storm, but mechanisms are in place to absorb it as much as possible.

Automated Market Makers (AMMs) allow digital assets to be traded without permission. They trade automatically through liquidity pools instead of traditional market buyers and sellers.  

A  liquidity pool is a smart contract containing a reserve of two or more cryptocurrency tokens inside a decentralized exchange (DEX). 

This allows people and Banks the ability to create liquidity beyond the token they are holding (XRP) that is just simply sitting idle without these other assets to help them to grow a passive income.

Smart contracts are scripts that automate actions between two parties through agreements to exchange crypto currency 24/7 to generate funds for an original token such as XRP just sitting idle.

On February the 14th, 2024 XRP will be allowed to operate inside a decentralized monetary system generating liquidity for their network through non-traditional trading means.

In other words, we are about to see a self-sustaining model of digital money begin to automate liquidity.

EU and Japan sign for a Economic Partnership between their countries. This will allow data flows of information in the new digital economy to proceed between them.

Data governance and cross-border data flows are important to the development of digitalisation between these two largest digital economies in the world.

Once this agreement has been ratified by Japan, they can move forward with their economic partnership in the new digital economy. This agreement marks one of the first economic partnerships to move forward onto the new digital asset based trading system. Consilium Europa

Protocol 20 Update:
In response to ecosystem feedback about a bug discovered last week in Stellar Core v20.1.0 that could have impacted applications using fee bumps to sponsor Soroban transactions, Stellar network validators postponed the Protocol 20 upgrade vote.

As soon as a new version of Stellar Core is available — which should be February 2 — we will once again encourage the ecosystem to upgrade relevant software — in this case, that’s limited to Stellar Core, Horizon, and RPC — and, if they choose, to arm validators for a February 20 upgrade vote.

Here’s the new timeline for the Protocol 20 rollout…   Key dates:
