"Since 1979, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has been the Federal Government's lead agency in responding to and recover- ing from many of the Nation's greatest moments of crisis."

India is proposing New Foreign Exchange Rules. Stakeholders have been invited to share their comments regarding FEMA involvement on the draft Licensing Framework for APs. These comments will be accepted until January 31st, 2024.

APs stands for authorized persons to oversee the new functions and standards of their Foreign Currency Exchange Department.

The purpose of these actions will be to carry out the implementation of operational efficiency in their delivery of foreign currency exchanges going forward. This will cover all areas of an economy where exchanges take place such as airports and tourist exchange centers.

As you can see, a lot of management takes place behind the scenes of even the Banking and Market systems. Although it doesn't seem fast enough, we are moving forward.

Many people hold currencies the RBI will be moving through their system under their new digital asset-based trading payment system called the UPI.

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) will be involved with moving the Iraqi Dinar, Indonesian Rupiah, Vietnamese Dong, US Dollar, Indian Rupee, and other currencies. These currencies used to utilize the US Dollar in trade, and now, they are beginning to use their own local currencies. Each will be given a watchful set of eyes to make sure foreign currency exchanges begin the process of new money flow efficiently and safely on a Global scale.

Investors await approval for the first U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund, which would be a milestone for cryptocurrency investors.

Discussions between the Securities and Exchange Commission and asset managers with pending spot bitcoin ETF applications have advanced.

Still, bitcoin "remains an extremely volatile and speculative asset,” said Bryan Armour, director of passive strategies research for North America at Morningstar.

"The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has issued a new accounting standard to improve the accounting for and disclosure of certain crypto assets."

This new standard will give companies the ability to fairly account for the cryptos they hold.

These particular cryptos have been tested on the market to determine fair market values that will enable standard protocols in their net worth and use.

These news standards will provide guidelines to enable companies to assess and report the real values of the cryptos they hold.

Early adoption is encouraged at the beginning of the new fiscal year and mandatory adoption is expected on December the 15th 2024.

Stellar Crypto Releases Guide on How to Prepare for January 30, 2024 Mainnet Upgrade Vote

On December 18, Stellar upgraded and reset its testnet, followed by the release of the new protocol 20 version of Stellar Core, Horizon, Soroban RPC, and the Stellar SDK. According to Stellar, its network validators will vote on the initiation of its mainnet upgrade on January 30, 2024, 15:00 UTC.

On the assumption that this upgrade would occur, Stellar released a guide for businesses and developers on its network to follow. The guide mostly included instructions on installing the upgraded version of Stellar-related software so that it would be compatible with the new Protocol 20 versions.

This reintegration into the new digital economy will create volatility for some assets to the upside and to the downside. If you are inside the right assets, you will be fine.

It all begins in 2024. If you are not in a good position, be ready to change as soon as you can. Many of the assets we have discussed in this room are good positions. Even though I can't recommend any of them, I have talked about them.

Our transition into the new economy has been going on for some time through new legislative bills turning into laws to govern them, and the banking system is about to synchronize with these markets inside a gold standard position that will cause fluctuations across ALL markets.

This will take some time in 2024 to make these transitions convert over into a new digital economy, price changes on everything is expected to happen.

Watch what happens with the new spot Bitcoin ETF. This is a very protected asset. Look at the companies that are wrapping their assets to it. They are well known and well flushed with money.

These companies know that Bitcoin is going to grow exponentially in 2024 and 25. It is the top asset and bridge into the digital economy.

Countries around the world are doing the same with their spot Bitcoin ETF. This is why there are meetings these past two weeks before early 2024 begins to prepare for this transition.

Gold is the underlying support asset that will make all of this possible giving real value to all of our assets and standardizing digital protocols to level the playing field among countries around the world.

"India's first-ever payment in rupees for crude oil purchased from the UAE is helping the world's third largest energy consumer push for taking the local currency globally, as it looks for similar deals with other suppliers, officials said, adding internationalization is a process and there are no targets."

The Indian Rupee is taking their local currency global along with other countries starting the first week of January 2024.

They will be trading with countries like the US, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iraq, and more.

Each of these countries has the support of gold to back their currencies going forward through Basel 3, of which, the US will begin implementing theirs on January the 16th, 2024. The rest of the list above have already started this process.

These newly implemented changes inside the new digital asset-based trading system will put price pressures on gold to support these new assets. Look for gold to be transitioning to a real value very soon to meet these new demands.

All roads lead to gold, and gold will set us free.

The Suez Canal is the shortest distance between cargo ships moving from the East to the West. This will create new challenges for us going forward until this is resolved including price fluctuations.

I am aware that new Maritime Laws are progressing, and we need them as soon as possible given the state of the world.

As we work on easing tensions at sea, we are working on stabilizing prices inside the marketplace through gold and tokenized assets giving them real values through movement forward of Basel 3 and Protocol 20.

The movement forward of these two monetary policies will give us structure we need to begin creating price correlations that can manage many of the price distortions taking place through the movement of goods from the East to the West.

Despite the global dominance of the US dollar, with 48% of payments still conducted in the currency, the BRICS alliance is making strides in de-dollarization through economic cooperation and the development of BRICS Pay.

These new demands will increase the Iraqi Dinar's value through the movement of goods and services inside their ports from the East to the West.

The Iraqi shipping industry is becoming a focal point of interest to the new Global markets. Having a solid value on the use of their currency will go a long way in creating solid interests from investors seeking to capitalize on this new venture.

Pay attention. This has something to do with what I'm going to share with you tonight at midnight.

Japan plans to start trading digital securities on Christmas Day.

This will begin creating price pressures for the Digital Market and Commodity Markets. It is one of 200+ countries dipping their toe into the large body of water we are yet to see if we will be able to sink or swim in going forward.

It is a small step into the new market, but it is the first one that will begin to create movement into the new QFS system. Look for the crypto and the commodity markets to begin layering in their various networks into the overall QFS in 2024. This will usher in new digital and metal liquidity at various points throughout the year building the foundation and confidence inside the new QFS.

During this process, a currency intervention will occur to justify new values being placed upon them through new demands taking place on our new digital economy.

We are witnessing several spot ETF Bitcoin assets going up in different countries at this time.

The spot ETF Bitcoin is the bridge into the digital economy that will be used to create mainstream adoption into the digital asset-based trading system.

When you own a spot ETF Bitcoin, you have access to the benefits of bitcoins' growth as mainstream acceptance moves the price of this asset into larger revenue opportunities for those who invest in assets connected to it.

Just recently, the SEC met with spot Bitcoin applicants in a rare conference call to engage in the implementation of this new digital asset making its way into the new digital economy.

Several security issues have regulations that have just been adopted last week to mobilize these new efforts.

The changes now being made in the global markets leads me to believe as One Financial system falls this year, a new One will be replacing it gradually and in three phases.

I do not anticipate a hard landing, but if your assets do not correlate with the new market you will see a significant loss. This is why we have taken the last two and a half years to go over the assets that will make up the new system, so each of us can be prepared for the new economy.

"The new framework for market risk (the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book or FRTB) and the new additive requirements for derivative transactions (the Credit Valuation Adjustment or CVA-related changes) would significantly raise the costs for U.S. public companies to hedge business and operating risks e.g., interest rate, foreign exchange, and commodity risks."

The Basel 3 end game which begins in the middle of January 2024 will be implemented in three phases just like Protocol 20 at the end of the month is going to be implemented in three phases.

The expectation is that it will affect the markets in new price pressures because of the addition of more Capital Requirements to supplement and equate trade and investment value risks. Bank stress tests have been performed, and the recommendation for this phased-in approach for Protocol 20 and Basel 3 implementation was the topic of their concluding thoughts.

Key details:

The barometer on new orders dropped sharply to negative 25.6 in December after a slightly positive reading of 1.3 in the prior month.

The shipments index remained in contraction territory at negative 10.8.

The measure on six-month business outlook rose to 12.1 from a negative reading of 2.1 in November. This is the highest reading since July.

Washington, D.C. — Commissioner Christy Goldsmith Romero, sponsor of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) Technology Advisory Committee (TAC), today announced the TAC will hold a meeting on January 8, 2024. The meeting will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST) at the CFTC’s Washington, D.C. headquarters. The public will be able to watch the live meeting via webcast at CFTC.gov

At this meeting, the TAC will continue its discussion of issues relating to digital assets and blockchain technology, cybersecurity, and emerging and evolving technologies.

Washington, D.C. — Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Rostin Behnam today announced two appointments in the Division of Data (DOD) that will enhance the CFTC’s analytic capabilities as the agency increasingly innovates its data-driven culture. Ted Kaouk has been named Chief Data Officer and Director of DOD. Dr. Kaouk will spearhead data integration initiatives and collaborate with the CFTC’s offices and divisions to help the agency make informed policy decisions. John Coughlan will serve as the agency’s first Chief Data Scientist. He will advance DOD’s data science expertise and expand the agency’s use of artificial intelligence to more effectively oversee the derivatives markets and meet its own regulatory requirements.

“The massive shifts in financial markets driven by advances in technology put the CFTC at the center of a new era of financial data, empowering us to more efficiently and effectively execute our mission,” said Chairman Rostin Behnam. “With these new critical hires, the CFTC is upskilling our data science staff, and increasing capacity and capability to be at the forefront of market innovations. Banking Announcement:

UK is planning on launching a digital security sandbox on January 8th, 2024.

The sandbox will allow their Financial Market Infrastructures (FMI) to test the use of new technology on a Digital Ledger Transmission (DLT) mechanism to operate a trading pilot program that will perform Central Securities Depositories (CSD) activities.

CSDs includes foreign currency exchanges, stocks, bonds, money markets and more.

This testing of tokenized assets will enable them to move forward at the end of the month inside Protocol 20.

"The first-ever cross-border settlement for precious metals using the digital yuan central bank digital currency (CBDC), also known as the e-CNY, was recorded on Dec. 20."

Two things happened today:
* The Chinese Digital Yuan gained functionality today on the Shanghai Exchange and International Trade.
* The Chinese Digital Yuan now has smart contract capabilities and new use cases that can be utilized as payments to move tokenized assets forward.
Today, we witnessed history in the making and a new challenge being put forth to the Dollar in International Trade.

"Swap data reporting is a US obligation on swap dealers and end-users to report over-the-counter derivatives transactions to swap data repositories. Reportable derivatives include “swaps” – defined as interest rate swaps, foreign exchange swaps and forwards, index-based credit default swaps, agricultural and commodity swaps, index-based total return swaps and all options based on a rate or commodity – and “security-based swaps."

So there we have it, swap data reporting as required by the "CFTC Approves Rule to Allow UPI Use in Swaps Reporting." The UPI mechanism for trading includes countries such as a Iraq, Indonesia, Vietnam, the US, and more.

The use of the UPI in the reporting of OTC derivatives (foreign currency exchanges) in the US will start on 29 January 2024. Everything will be recorded and reported in the new system.

Amazingly, this start date is just one day before Protocol 20 is voting to move forward with the new digital economy that unites all Quantum Technologies around the world through the Stellar Network.

SIX expands ETF franchise

SIX has launched Quote-on-Demand Europe (QOD Europe), an extension to its exchange traded funds (ETF) franchise. The product is the first pan-European exchange-traded request-for-quote (RFQ) platform.

ETF QOD Europe allows clients to trade ETFs listed on a number of European primary exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange, Euronext Paris and Borsa Italiana.

The product takes the number of ETFs and exchange traded products (ETPs), tradable at the SIX Swiss Exchange, from 1700 to 6000, complementing its existing multilateral open order-book.

In recent letters directed to United States lawmakers, Tether disclosed it has a Know Your Customer (KYC) program, a transaction monitoring system and a proactive approach to identifying suspicious accounts and activities.

“We have always assisted law enforcement when called upon to act, and we remain fully committed to continuing to work proactively with agencies globally. Tether has and will assist in identifying and freezing addresses subject to sanctions, engaged in illicit activity, or engaged in any form of terrorist financing."

Tether also disclosed it uses surveillance monitoring tools to continuously track client activity, and onboarded the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to its platform as part of collaboration efforts with law enforcement. Tether said:"These strategic relationships reinforce our commitment to supporting law enforcement in combating nefarious activities and contributing to the recovery of victims’ funds."
