The Supreme Judiciary: There is no constitutional provision related to the term caretaker government

The Supreme Judicial Council confirmed today, Saturday, the absence of a constitutional text regarding the caretaker government.

The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, said, according to the official agency, that "there is no constitutional text related to the term caretaker government, just as there is no explicit text of the term emergency government."

The discussion is taking place during the current period and after the end of the period specified for forming the new government, by going to the caretaker government or an emergency government.

Parliamentary Investment: We will monitor the process of pumping currency into the market

A member of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, Muhammad Al-Ziyadi, confirmed that the parliamentary committees will anticipate the Ministry of Finance's action to pump the currency into the market.

Al-Ziyadi said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "during our question to the Minister of Finance, we tried hard to find a solution to the issue of the delay in approving the budget, but the Finance's response to the Food Security Law contained many problems."

He added, "The government must cover the street with a certain liquidity, regardless of the arguments, and there will be strong oversight from the House of Representatives in this regard."  LINK

Samson:  A legal expert reveals a surprise: The caretaker government can send the budget to Parliament

7th April, 2022

Legal expert Faisal Rikan revealed, today, Thursday, the possibility of the current caretaker government sending the general budget to Parliament.

Rikan said in a statement to (Baghdad Today), "The current year's budget was prepared before the government turns into a caretaker and before the parliament is dissolved in 2021."

He added, "The caretaker government should send the budget law to Parliament and indicate that it was completed and prepared when the government had full powers to be discussed by the House of Representatives." And he continued, "Iraq has a new, complete parliament, with full powers, and it can pass the budget law."

Rican pointed out that "the government cannot prepare the budget and send it to Parliament, even if it has been delegated by the House of Representatives, because the mandate must be in accordance with the constitution."   LINK

GOOD MORNING FAMILY! THANK YOU FOR COVERING FRANK IN PRAYER YESTERDAY DURING HIS SURGERY. IT WAS A LONG SURGERY AND I DID GET TO SEE HIM VERY LATE LAST NIGHT AFTER HE WAS TRANSPORTED BACK TO HIS ROOM FROM THE RECOVERY ROOM. IT SURE WAS GOOD TO SEE HIS BEAUTIFUL FACE!

IT WILL BE A LONG RECOVERY AND THE DR SAID THAT WE WILL TAKE IT DAY BY DAY AS FAR AS WHEN HE WILL BE RELEASED TO GO HOME.

THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY AND A VERY DIFFICULT SURGERY THE DR SAID. PRAISE GOD WE ARE AT THE RIGHT PLACE FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT IN CLEVELAND!!!

Samson:  Russia-China talks on bilateral security cooperation

The Special Representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry for External Security Affairs Zheng Guoping and Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov discussed bilateral security cooperation

"The two sides exchanged views on Sino-Russian bilateral relations and bilateral cooperation in the field of security and combating terrorism," a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry said

China has recently expressed its concern about the information announced by Russia about the development of biological weapons by Ukraine with US funding

And its permanent representative to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, said during a meeting of the UN Security Council last Friday: "China has taken into account with great concern the information published by Russia with the aim of ensuring the implementation of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons.. Samson:  With the rise in oil... the fate of the Iraqi import surplus was revealed

18th March, 2022

A financial advisor to the Prime Minister revealed the fate of the Iraqi oil surplus, with the continued rise in crude prices in global markets.

Mazhar Muhammad Salih told {Euphrates News}: "If the financial difference in the country's surplus oil imports continues for a year with spending pressure and maximizing non-oil revenues, it will be placed in a sovereign fund used for development purposes after paying the financial deficit."

And "this fund serves the economy through investment projects without approving the budget in accordance with the Financial Management Law / Chapter One, which replaces the budget in the event of its delay in approval."

It is noteworthy that the calls of a number of political forces and economic experts, have recently escalated, for the necessity of establishing an Iraqi sovereign fund, similar to several countries in the region, so that the fund would seize the current financial abundance after the rise in oil prices, and manage this wealth and use it in the context of alleviating the severity of any future financial crisis. 

The price of a barrel of oil reached 110 dollars on Friday morning, with little progress in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, raising fears of tightening sanctions and disruption of oil supplies for a long time.

While Iraq's resources increased after stopping the deduction of 3 percent of revenues to pay compensation to Kuwait, which Iraq finished paying in full last month. The Ministry of Oil announced that the rate of exports and revenues achieved for the month of February was the highest in eight years, reaching 8.5 billion dollars, and an export rate of 3 million and 314 thousand barrels per day.

The National Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) expected that the revenues of the current month of March will be higher than February, based on the current market data.  LINK

Good morning roomies!  

Forgive those who insult you, attack you, belittle you, or take you for granted. But more then this forgive yourself for allowing them to hurt you. -unknown   

There were some pretty awful things said about me yesterday in some rooms. I forgive them all for they know not what they do. Hurt people, hurt people. Not one word of it was true and I have no reason to defend myself for their malicious actions. We must be close for the level to get this intense.   

Remain positive and faithful. The news is all very good.

Everyone is gaged so there is not much news other than bonds are paying.

Somehow I got misquoted saying all bonds are paid in full. That is not true. Things are moving and we should see the start this month.

 I will take the weekend off from posting. If anything happens I will let you all know. Get away from the rooms for the weekend and go be in nature. Many blessings to all.  -Holly
