The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed that the government has spent only 20% of the current year’s budget, and expected to release the rest of the budget on December 20, indicating that the government’s move towards currencies other than the dollar will reduce the pressure on demand for it and thus reduce its prices.
Committee member, Jamal Kujar, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: The government has spent only 20% of the current year’s budget, and it is assumed that after December 20, a good portion of the budget will be spent for a period of five days until the accounts are closed, noting that with the beginning of New Year Next year's budget schedules are sent.

Tishwash: Iraq and China intend to conclude a memorandum of understanding in the field of preventing and combating corruption
The head of the Iraqi Federal Integrity Commission and the director of the International Cooperation Directorate of the Chinese National Oversight Commission (Cai Wei) discussed mechanisms for exchanging experiences in the field of corruption prevention and efforts to combat it and signed a memorandum of understanding between the two sides in this regard.
Judge (Haider Hanoun) stressed, during the meeting that took place on the sidelines of the meeting of the tenth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is hosted by the United States in the period from (11-15) of this December, he stressed the importance of communication And cooperation with the Directorate of International Cooperation of the Chinese National Oversight Committee, noting the necessity of providing a safe environment for foreign companies operating in Iraq, especially Chinese ones, praising what he called “the steadfastness of Chinese companies in the face of corrupt people.” He attributed one of his reasons to the Authority’s efforts and increasing the pace of the deterrent aspect through control operations.
For his part, Director of the International Cooperation Directorate of the Chinese National Supervision Commission (Cai Wei) pointed out that the process of combating corruption requires great efforts and the combined efforts of everyone. On Tuesday, the representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, stressed the country’s need to pass the oil and gas law in order to avoid problems between the center and the region, pointing to the possibility of amending the laws to suit the country’s needs.
Suleiman told Al-Maalouma, “Iraq is in dire need of an oil and gas law, especially since the current stage is witnessing problems between the region and the center due to the lack of this law, which can spare the two sides any disputes between them.”
He added, "Most of the laws have been amended, including the Federal Budget Law. If all parties reach agreements to pass the Oil and Gas Law, the door will be opened to amending the Budget Law in line with the wordings of the new law."

CandyKisses: Globally.. Dollar Falls, Yen Stabilizes Amid Anticipation of US Inflation Data

The U.S. dollar fell as the Japanese yen settled in trading on Tuesday, in Asia as traders awaited inflation data in the United States and an anticipated series of central bank meetings.
Dollar index contracts fell 0.5 percent to 145.46 yen. Both currencies have been volatile for days, with the yen rising on comments from the Bank of Japan seen as tightening before falling again on reports that played down expectations of an imminent change in monetary policy.
ANZ economist Tom Kenney said: "There has been talk of the Bank of Japan moving to raise interest rates and there are expectations that it will happen by next week."
High iron ore prices and a rebound in Chinese property shares supported the Australian and New Zealand dollars, while other currencies were little changed.
The New Zealand dollar rose 0.5 percent to 0.6154 percent.
The euro was priced at $1.0765 and the pound sterling was $1.2577.
U.S. inflation data will set the framework for Wednesday's decision by the Federal Reserve.
Later in the week, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, the Bank of Norway and the Swiss National Bank are due to meet, and Norway is expected to be the only one to raise rates.

Tishwash: Iraqi Oil Minister: Fossil fuels will remain the main source of energy in the world
Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Iraqi Oil Minister, Hayyan Abdul-Ghani, today, Tuesday, defended the production of fossil fuels in response to the recent demands and calls to limit it and even dispense with it, which were issued by the “COP 28” conference. For climate, which was held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
This came during his chairmanship of the second ministerial session on energy, environment and sustainable development within the activities of the 12th Arab Energy Conference.
Abdul Ghani said in a speech in which he opened the session that fossil fuels will remain the main source of energy in the whole world, stressing the necessity of preserving oil as a strategic commodity for producing countries because their economies depend on oil energy sources as a major resource.
He pointed to the importance of the traditional energy sector and energy transformations in the Arab countries and their various paths, including the transition to renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and the common Arab market for electricity and green hydrogen.
Abdul Ghani added that Arab countries produce oil, but thermal emissions come from industrialized countries that use this oil, and they must increase the efficiency of their equipment to benefit from this energy to reduce harmful emissions.
He continued by saying that we are all working to promote and support renewable and clean energy sources and projects, and our projects on the ground confirm this. link

1- Nothing is left in the hands of the managers.
2- Everything is now in the payment phase through authorized banks.
3- Since yesterday, very important changes and adaptations have been made to make everything more precise, faster and safer.
4- All the escrow accounts of all the people who will receive have already been opened. These are accounts that no administrator has access to. Only the account holder will be able to access it.
5- An Escrow account is as if each person owned a private bank, since it works as a financial platform. (People usually don’t know what this is like yet and will need to learn. However, it is simple and easy and you can do it using your cell phone or computer at home).
6- Now the phase of sending the CALLS to all the people called planned or contributed will begin. This will be done via email and SMS. This is an appointment for the person to appear at a specific bank branch to speak with the manager. There he will sign contracts, receive a credit card and can download a certain amount to his usual account for immediate use in a conventional way. This is another real world report from a member of our community telling us the banks are ready and this is real. This is very exciting to me. I know of five stories like this just this month on people we personally know getting a “heads up” from bankers. …a little ad has been rolling all over Iraqi television lately talking about the future of the dinar and how great it is.

Militia Man If the Finance Minister needs to work to the end of the year to make sure that everything's sorted and ready to go and do it right and do it properly so the Iraqi citizens get what they deserve which is purchasing power. I think it's a phenomenal situation. I think everybody can clearly see...they're doing it and it's coming to fruition...
Frank26 Question: "Is there a bank in the US to keep dinars deposited in dinars?" No. Not even the satellite banks that will represent the CBI because they will be under American banking laws. Which means they will have to convert it into American dollars. That's what they want to do because they will take your dinars and send it back to the CBI. If you go to Chase, Huntington Bank, whatever American bank, those dinars go to our US reserves.

MZ: Now it’s time for bank stories….We will start with this one sent to me….. A couple of weeks ago I had a team meeting with a VP of a bank. This is a smaller bank. They wanted to know which bonds and currencies I had. They needed to know what I had –in order to set up my appointment and see if they could handle my (exchange) apt. there or if they needed to send them to a larger bank. (Like Wells Fargo) or a military base. So this was a “sit-dowm” with a high level person at a small bank.
MZ: the next banking story I received : This person has been in this for a long time….I’m in a larger Western state and this takes place at a huge metro location. I went to the bank 10-12 years ago…had my teenage daughter with me….. I sat down with the President of the branch and we talked currencies. That President went up the chain and asked questions. Over the years we have stayed in touch. Recently my daughter went to that branch …The Presidents assistant who we had spoke with 10-12 years ago…..he talks to her and says The former President of that branch who is now a regional manager called and said that the bank needed to get ready. He was just given instructions to have “all branches at the ready” It is imminent and about to happen.
MZ: I love these personal stories.
MZ: Here is another: A friend who I had introduced me to this RV talked to a friend of theirs about it and that person admitted to owning a lot of currency. Just over 3 months ago they said it was going to RV and sent out instructions how to do the redemption…..Then they went quiet. (MZ: I have heard this before) A few days ago this woman contacted my friend and said that she just got a very high rate for the first 20 million of dinar. Then the price dropped after the first 20 million IQD. And the price for Zim was $35 million per 100T note.
MZ: Now we do not know if she is liquid yet. We do not know if it is spendable yet.We have heard stories like this in the past. My bankers have not told me this so Im guessing it may be from a private group.
MZ: Here is one more: From a business contact in the Midwest. He said it would occur right after the first of January. (Most banks do not call this an RV- they call it a currency exchange) And, they were told money was being moved into accounts and all will play out over the next few weeks. Another contact I know, who is a senior VP of a large bank agrees with that. Banks are looking for it Early January..
MZ: I wish I could tell you the names of the banks…You would be excited. The banking stories today came from the Midwest and the west of the US.
MZ: For them to start paying us they need to get the groups funded first….but this does give us a window. Banking people are telling us we are in the window between now and the first of the year.
MZ: I will recording a short podcast tomorrow morning…..I am flying to the states for both work and family…… Podcasts should be back to normal on Wednesday. If anything big happens while I am traveling…I will have my laptop with me.

Member: That will be the next rumor…..lol
