Weeneedit: The Iraqi prime minister's office described the conversation with Pompeo as a congratulatory call. The State Department did not explicitly offer congratulations but described Allawi as the "new prime minister."
Jwill: I don’t know if Allawi is elected or not. I guess everyone is hoping he will be. But he needs to complete his cabinet & get these minsters approved or they will find themselves in chapter 7 again. I don’t think parliament really cares

Parliament presidency sets next Thursday as the date for the special session to give confidence to the government
On Monday, the Presidency of the House of Representatives agreed to set a date for the session to give confidence to the government of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.
A statement of Al-Halbousi’s office, which received / information / copy, stated that “The Presidency of the Council of Representatives held, today, Monday, a special meeting to discuss setting a date for the special session to give confidence to the new government.”
The statement added, "The Presidency decided during the meeting to hold the special session scheduled to vote on granting confidence to the new government next Thursday at 1:00 p.m., with the Prime Minister-designate to send the ministerial curriculum and CVs for the candidates before the session date according to the texts mentioned in the internal system of the House of Representatives."
The Presidency of the Council called on the Prime Minister-designate to "accelerate the dispatch of the government curriculum and CVs to ministers before a session is held next Thursday. link
Briona: It is impressive, how Iraq politics works. They held a special session today to decide when to hold a special session to give confidence to the government. This doesn't give me a lot of confidence.

Several major economies are now struggling with supply chain disruptions now having a huge economic impact.
China also reported there Tech PMI or EPMI and the print for February came in at 29.9 last month that was 50.
This usually has a strong correlation to the broader PMI so this would suggest we may see PMI's in China print closer to 30-40 range.

Will countries raise their value that are undervalued before or after the day or ignore the new rule and pay the tariffs?
There is a speculation that countries will raise the value of the currency …this would be the Global Currency Reset…..I think the Iraqi dinar will be the first one.
