The Ministry of Planning announced that it will reveal tomorrow, Monday, the details of the "responsive" document and the reform and recovery plan for the period 2021-2023.

After obtaining the fundamental approvals, the bank will work according to an advanced electronic system, and one of the priorities of its work is to convert the financial system in the Kurdistan Region to the electronic method.

To deal with remittances and exchange accounts, in addition to another characteristic of the bank, which is that the advances and loans that are paid, by the Central Bank of Iraq, the government-owned Al-Watan Bank in the region is covered by these advances and loans.

For his part, the director of commercial banks in Erbil, Mouloud Saber, told Kurdistan 24: The purpose of opening the bank is to develop the banking sector in the region, so that citizens depend, in their banking dealings, on the advanced system in the bank, in addition to transferring the salaries of employees in the region. to the electronic payment system.

Saber added: The total capital of the bank will reach 250 billion Iraqi dinars, and that the bank, as an important branch of the Central Bank of Iraq, will provide important facilities to citizens, because the branch currently in the Central Bank of Iraq in the region is specialized only in banking affairs, related to Baghdad exclusively. ,
