KTFA:
MoeApollo: Ok folks...I spoke to a couple people about Allawi. Sorry but I had to know more and people are scared to talk these days. All this is anecdotal so consider it all opinion please.
Seems that Allawi is a consensus candidate. He is a moderate that is acceptable to most because he is a non-sectarian so he is easy to throw in the mix.
He is NOT an Iranian loyalist (which may explain the rockets & his possible reluctance) BUT some of the protesters don't want him simply because he is close to Sadr.
The fact that his nomination doesn't please everyone makes me kind of dig him lol In short...he is dispassionate & dispassionate people are unpredictable and THAT makes him a threat to people that have agendas. So yeah...there will be resistance to this one.
Now...we wait and see. As always, God's got this & I ain't sweatin it. My prayer is that we (us AND the Iraqi people) get to the promised land together

01/19/2020
The issue of the independence of the central bank from the executive authority conflicts in two opposing directions.
The first sees that the independence of the central bank is merely a myth, an illusion or an idea that is not applicable for several reasons, foremost of which is that the monetary authority has not yet reached the amount of the independent public authority, just as it is like other public legislative and executive authorities.
Judicial and the monetary policy that the central bank is concerned with formulating and implementing is part of the general policy in the state and therefore the central bank must return to the executive and legislative branches and be associated with them and is in the process of drawing monetary policy and implementing it either.
I saw that the independence and the necessary condition necessary for the success of the work of the Central Bank and other than that the bank is subject to the domination of the government and this is what causes financial risks standing in the forefront of falling into the inflationary crises.
But if independence is necessary, all its elements must be available, namely financial independence, administrative independence and technical independence.
If the constitution of the Republic of Iraq in force for the year 2005 stipulated that the central bank is an independent public body that is responsible for questioning it and interrogating its employees, the constitutional treatment of the issue of independence was not a treatment.
Integrated, where several deficiencies were marred, and the researcher took the spotlight to highlight the constitutional and legislative deficiencies with proposing the necessary and appropriate solutions to enhance the independence of the central bank from the executive authority in a manner that guarantees the aforementioned bank’s full performance of its tasks.

With the Davos 2020 Forum due tomorrow, Tuesday, this economic event, which is considered among the most important in the world, is receiving great attention from officials, businessmen, the press and public opinion, given the importance of the topics to be presented and the weight of the participating names. In this article - published by the Italian newspaper "Mani" - journalist Christiana Cagliarduchi provided a set of information about "Davos", its origins and what it represents for world leaders, especially as it is an important opportunity to discuss thorny issues.
What is the?
In fact, Davos is the name of a small Swiss city with 11,000 residents, a small ski resort in the Alps, and it has become famous all over the world for hosting the World Economic Forum every year. Founded in 1971 by the efforts of German economist Klaus Schwab, relying on a non-governmental organization that succeeded in bringing together companies, leaders and many influential figures in the world, at the same table for discussion. Today, the Forum is an opportunity to discuss topics of concern to the international community. As the name indicates, economic issues will be discussed in Davos, but over the past three decades, participants have also been discussing other topics related to climate and the environment. Each year, a forum theme is chosen, and this year it will be on "sustainable development" under the slogan "For a Coherent and Sustainable World."
Enormous challenges
Observers fear could constitute a forum again Square to highlight the differences between East and West, and between the United States and the European Union, and between businessmen and activists seeking to address the impending risks that beset the world with the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century. In addition to climate issues and the environment, overshadow the Forum risk A conflict erupted between the United States and Iran, with tension escalating following the American strike in which Quds Force commander Qasim Soleimani was killed.
As Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Han Jing heads his country's delegation to the forum, the trade dispute between Beijing and Washington will be highlighted, despite this week reaching a truce agreement after two years of tension. The European Union’s Foreign Minister, Ursula van der Leien, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be the two most prominent European Union personalities to participate, and their attendance may highlight existing differences between Europe and the United States over key files.
