The Minister of Finance in the Kurdistan Regional Government Awat Sheikh Janab on Thursday announced the delivery of the federal government in Baghdad 250 thousand barrels of crude oil per day, in the first time since 2014.

For his part, Secretary of the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Region Amang Rahim that the region will contribute to raising financial revenues for Iraq in accordance with the agreement reached with the federal government on the budget and oil.  Rahim added that the federal budget for 2020 is still in the process of legislation. He said that the Kurdistan region will contribute to increase financial revenues for Iraq in accordance with the agreement reached with Baghdad, stressing that the recent agreement is in the interest of both sides.

He added that "Iraq borrowed 62 billion dollars and part of it has nothing to do with the Kurdistan region." Samson:  Kurdistan Regional Government: We will contribute to increase the financial revenues of Iraq

Rahim said in a joint press conference held with the Minister of Finance Awat Sheikh Janab, and the head of the Cabinet Office of the Region Omid Sabah that the federal fiscal budget for 2020 is still in the process of legislation  

He added that the Kurdistan region will contribute to increase financial revenues for Iraq in accordance with the agreement we reached with Baghdad, stressing that the recent agreement is in the interest of both sides.

"Iraq has borrowed $ 62 billion, part of which has nothing to do with the Kurdistan region," he said.

He pointed out that the region will provide Baghdad with information about the debt of the Kurdistan Region, noting that the region's debt will be fixed in the financial budget for the next year.

Rahim said there was an understanding between Erbil and Baghdad about the debt.  LINK

Samson:  Deputy confirms the existence of a parliamentary consensus on the passage of the Electoral Commission Act

A member of the Front for Correction and Change Parliamentary Abbas Jaber Al-Atafi, Thursday, that today's session will see the vote on the Electoral Commission Act, pointing to the existence of a parliamentary consensus to pass the law.

Al-Atafi said in a statement to the information, that "the agenda of today's meeting will include the inclusion of the Electoral Commission law, as well as the presence of demands to include the election law to vote on them in today's meeting." He added, "All views and proposals on the Commission's law was completed with the will of the people," noting that "there is a parliamentary consensus to pass the law in today's meeting, which will be held in the afternoon."
