Representative Economy: We Are Working To Pressure Expenditures In The Budget And Redress The Oppressed Segments
Money and business Economy News _ Baghdad The Parliamentary Economic Committee indicated, on Friday, that Parliament is determined to squeeze expenditures in the budget with an emphasis on equitable segments of their contracts, lecturers, and social welfare.
A member of the committee, MP Hamid Abbas, said in a press interview, "The budget includes 53 trillion dinars as salaries for employees, and there is no such number in any country in the world, as these allocations represent the budgets of three countries."
He added that "2020 expenditures amounted to 72 trillion, and Parliament is determined to reduce it in the current year’s budget, with an emphasis on the return of those whose contracts and lecturers have broken their contracts and equitable social care."
And that "the government is dealing with figures and accounts at a time when parliament is amending the budget and reducing expenditures in order to reduce the deficit in a way that can be covered and not exceeding the legally permitted limit."

🔵 What happened yesterday is a breach that we do not allow to repeat. We promised our people security, and this breach is an indication that there is a defect that must be addressed urgently.
🔵 Our security services have made a great effort during the past months, and there have been major operations against ISIS terrorist gangs, and most of our operations have succeeded, and there are daily attempts by ISIS to reach Baghdad that were thwarted by preemptive operations, and unfortunately they managed that yesterday and innocent blood shed, and we will not allow the repetition of security breaches.
There are challenges in the intelligence services that must be addressed urgently, and I will personally supervise this issue, and therefore we will impose a new situation for work and take urgent measures.
Iraq is one state, and all its security and military institutions must act in one spirit, and we will impose unification of intelligence efforts in all seriousness. There is no place for courtesy at the expense of Iraq and the Iraqis.
We have made a series of changes in the security and military structure, and are working on developing a comprehensive and effective security plan to meet the upcoming challenges.
🔵 The security position is a responsibility, and when there is a breach, the security leaders must assume its responsibility, and this does not mean underestimating the leaders who responded in previous stages, but rather is an assurance that those who confront it bear responsibility in any location in which he is chosen by the auditor.

Time: 01/22/2021 13:35:14 Read: 3,055 times {Baghdad: Al-Furat News} The Presidency of the Council of Representatives has set a date for the interrogation of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb, by the head of the Parliament's wisdom bloc, Faleh Al-Sari.
In a letter to the House of Representatives secretariat to the Central Bank, the Euphrates News Agency obtained a copy of it informing the governor of the date of his interrogation “based on the questioning request submitted by {Faleh Sari}, and for the constitutional and legal conditions to be met in the request in accordance with Article {61 / Seventh / C} of the constitution And Article {27 / Fourth} and Article 31 of Parliament Law and Formations No. 13 of 2018, and Article 58 of its bylaws, the Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided that the interrogation of the Governor of the Central Bank, Mustafa Ghaleb, will take place on Wednesday January 27/2021.
It is noteworthy that the head of the Parliamentary Wisdom Bloc, Faleh Al-Sari, is seeking to question the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb, because the House of Representatives was not convinced of the answers provided during its hosting last November, and collected signatures to submit a request to question the governor.
Al-Sari said to the Euphrates on the 20th of last month, "The criteria set by the central bank governor set the country with financial crises, and we have objections and criticisms to his choice and performance," indicating that "the answers of the central bank governor were not feasible with regard to raising the exchange rate."
On more than one occasion, Al-Sari announced that the interrogation had been completed, and that he had requested the Presidency of the Council of Representatives, to set a date for it. LINK
