A slight decrease in oil due to two influencing factors

June 30, 2020 at 9:20 am  Direction / follow  Oil prices fell, on Tuesday, in the Asian markets slightly due to the increased spread of the Corona virus in several countries, and the possibility of reaching an agreement in Libya that results in the return of part of the Libyan oil to the markets.

The Libyan National Oil Company said yesterday that it had made progress in discussions with neighboring countries to lift the ban on oil exports imposed by Haftar's forces.

However, traders and analysts expected a drop in commercial crude oil stocks, preventing prices from falling further, as the American Petroleum Institute data will be released later today after the markets closed, and the Energy Information Administration data tomorrow morning.

Oil prices rose yesterday due to the increase in home sales in the United States, which indicates an improvement in economic growth

Al-Sudani provides solutions to Al-Kazemi’s government out of Iraq’s financial crisis

Follow-up Tuesday, June 30, 2020 4:02 PM  Independent deputy, Mohamed Shi'a Al-Sudani, presented solutions to Mustafa Al-Kazemi's government out of the financial crisis in Iraq .

"In light of the challenges facing the country, the government has a set of urgent measures in place to enable it to fulfill its obligations, specifically in front of employees, retirees, social welfare, processing of the ration card and the benefits of the crisis cell in relation to confronting Corona virus," he said in a statement.

He stressed that "the important part of the economic reforms is to collect customs tariff fees and protect the product while controlling the window of currency sales from the central bank in which the sale reached large numbers, including 240 million dollars sold in one day."

"To whom was this money directed? What imports could come to Iraq in light of the economic downturn the entire region is going through?" Al-Sudani asked.

Why are there no tax and customs deductions before the dollar is spent to secure the right of the state? It is not possible to sell the dollar without revenue to the state treasury and without deduction of fees and taxes. "

Al-Sudani pointed out, "There is another economic perspective, which is we have made sure that the agricultural and industrial private sector does not rise in light of imports from official and unofficial outlets and in the absence of full control over the ports and the absence of standardization and quality control of the goods entering and in the absence of taxes and fees. From them, it is certain that the prices of imported goods and products will crowd out the national product, and all this requires reform steps to maximize revenues. "
