"The Factions Are Ideologically Linked To Iran And Will Carry Out Its Orders," asks Hilal al-Ubaidi, questioning: After the withdrawal of American forces, who will resist? He warns of the repercussions of the war on Iraq
Baghdad - One News - 11/04/2026 International relations expert Dr. Hilal Al-Obaidi warned against the continued connection of armed factions with Iran, stressing that these factions are ideologically linked to the Iranian regime and will carry out any orders issued to them from Tehran in the event of a new military confrontation in the region.
Al-Obeidi questioned the justifications for the continued activity of armed factions after the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq, saying: “After the withdrawal of US forces, who are the factions resisting?” in reference to the controversy surrounding the future of their weapons and their security role.
Al-Obeidi accused the armed factions of carrying out attacks targeting Erbil, Jordan, and the Gulf states, considering that their situation has become similar to that of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in terms of affiliations and orientations, and stressing that their ideological connection to Iran makes them ready to carry out any directives issued from Tehran.
In his assessment of the Iraqi political scene, Al-Obeidi considered that the political system in Iraq is organically linked to the Iranian system, which he described as going through a phase of weakness and turmoil, warning of the repercussions of this link on the future of political and security stability in the country.
He added that the United States was behind the current political forces coming to power in Iraq, but he criticized the performance of the figures at the forefront of the political scene, describing them as failures.
In the corruption file, Al-Obeidi recalled previous statements by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, in which he said that armed factions were involved in corruption cases inside Iraq, in the context of his criticism of the overlap of armed influence with state institutions.
On the economic front, Al-Obaidi stressed that the dollar crisis in Iraq has not found a solution for twenty-three years, noting that successive Iraqi governments have been unable to address this problem throughout that period. (They simply need to RV the IQD)
Al-Obeidi called on the armed factions to give up their weapons, arguing that their continued possession of them contributes to supporting what he described as the failed state in Iraq.
Regarding the escalating tension between Washington and Tehran, Al-Obeidi expressed his hope that the Iranian-American crisis would end through negotiations, avoiding resort to war, given concerns about its security and political repercussions on Iraq and the region. https://1news-iq.net/الفصائل-مرتبطة-عقائدياً-بإيران-وستن/
Qaani: Allies Pledge Loyalty To Unity Of Arenas
2026-11-04 / Shafaq News- Tehran Fighters of the Iran-aligned Axis of Resistance (IRI Factions) have declared their "absolute loyalty" to the "unity of arenas,*" Quds Force commander Brig. Gen. Esmail Qaani said on Wednesday, following Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei's call to confront Iran's enemies without geographic limits.
In a message earlier on Wednesday marking Iran's National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance, Khamenei said Iran's control of the Strait of Hormuz and its destruction of US military bases in the region amounted to "an initial jihad against arrogance on a regional scale," which "will take on much broader dimensions" in the event of renewed attacks.
This show of strength, "alongside the unity of the front of truth" and what he called the achievements of the resistance front from Palestine and Lebanon to Iraq and Yemen, marked "a bright and hope-inspiring beginning" toward "a new world order," Khamenei said.
* The "unity of arenas" (unity of fronts) refers to the strategy of coordinating pressure by Iran-aligned groups in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and the Palestinian territories against Israel and the United States.

The Federal Integrity Authority announced the issuance of a new ruling sentencing the former MP (Nasser Nassif Jassim) and the former Director General of Salah Al-Din Health Department (Raed Al-Jabouri) to imprisonment for two years for their benefit from public service through nepotism, in addition to their obligation to pay a total amount of (10,000,000,000) dinars in solidarity and mutual support.

It added that the court, after reviewing the evidence collected in the case, found it sufficient and convincing to convict them, and issued a conviction ruling according to Article (319) of the Penal Code.
The rulings were linked to confessions obtained during an investigation involving former Deputy Oil Minister Adnan Al-Jumaili, the judicial source said.
Iraqi security forces arrested Al-Jubouri in June based on information provided by Al-Jumaili, whose testimony also led to arrest warrants for more than 70 officials, according to the source and previous Iraqi judicial statements.
