The deputy chairman of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, also known as Hashd al-Shaabi) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis said that the US and Israel were the ones who targeted a weapon depot and other PMF targets in Iraq recently in order to weaken the group.
“We have evidence that shows US has brought four Israeli drones into Iraq,” Muhandis said in a post on the PMF’s Facebook page.
“US are using the drones to target the PMF and Iraqi bases, rather than targeting Daesh,” he added, using the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State (ISIS)

chattels The article does note, importantly, that Muhandis seems to have issued this statement entirely on a unilateral basis. Formally he isn't even the head of the Hashd, Falih al-Fayyad, who would not have issued such a statement, is supposed to be. But of course he's a fig leaf.

Goofus 8-21-2019 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat ...the flood gates have opened and the news is pouring in. ...The parliamentary finance committee has decided that the CBI needs to move to the next step of the “project to delete the zeros” and put the Iraqi dinar on a “level playing field” with the rest of the middle east currencies.
Yesterday they came out with the announcement to re-mint the Iraq coins once again. They are saying they now need to put together legislation in which to give the CBI permission to do so...
