BuckeyeTree: What gives me hope that the reinstatement is sooner and not later is the liquidity issue and being able to pay salaries.
Also, Kazemi has the job to get the reforms done including giving purchasing power to the Iraqi people via the currency reinstatement, and he has now had his position for a few months getting things done, but the biggest deal with the currency has yet to be revealed, and the Iraqis may be getting a little anxious.
So many contracts current and to yet be signed are looking for the new and better value of the Iraqi dinar.
The world also needs a stimulus, and the dinar reinstatement would help President Trump as well prior to the November election.
It is hard for me to see this waiting to continue to end of the year. As it is sometimes said, but this is Iraq.

The United States continues to help Iraq improve water systems through USAID projects, water experts in a visit to two water treatment plants in Nineveh in collaboration with Nineveh Water Directorate. The production capacity of one station is 9000 cubic metres per hour, thus serving 35 thousand citizens.
That wasn't pumping enough water to satisfy the needs of the residents.
Experts met with station managers and suggested a series of procedures related to periodic maintenance and corrective procedures to ensure that all citizens have the amount of water they need.

Frank26 ...the treatment that Kazemi received was first class. It was the most respectful...the plan was for Kazemi to meet the Fab 4 in Washington D.C...it was a whole lot more than you can imagine that came with Kazemi. It was a very very large entourage. They had covered many different subjects...but the majority of what they were covering was the currency of their country, their economic growth of their country...notice I didn't say monetary reform. Because that's in the 'white papers' and it is complete. Done. Everything is signed. Iraq needs to announce that they have a new exchange rate...
Footforward When Iraq did their budget they had said they wanted to come back half way through the year to re-evaluate the budget. Only two reasons to do so in my opinion. RV or a significant jump in oil. They also have educated the citizens for months now. [Guru] Delta himself talked about this months ago. To say they now have to educate the citizens I don't agree with. Part of the reason they are rioting and protesting is because they have been told this change is coming and it hasn't happened yet. Also in my opinion they have to revalue over night. I have a really strong reason for that opinion. Heck even people in the GOI are publicly calling for this now. Maybe [Guru] Delta is right. Maybe they do wait for the new fiscal year. But Kuwait lied before they revalued. History does tend to repeat itself. I don't think they would just give away the time frame so clearly. Just my opinion.

CharlieOK: Taking Tish's youtube article at face value (because the source of info for the youtube is Al Jazeera [lol] ); it looks as if a major news source in the ME is stating that nothing has changed in Iraq related to giving Iraqi citizens basic services….Why? Because of corruption and incompetence, even in areas where most of the Iraqi oil is situated. Protestors are protesting to get these basic services and are being shot by Militias? Sound familiar? Nothing has changed.
