Private sources revealed the appearance of Qusay al-Suhail before the Court of Integrity and money laundering on the file auction currency in the Central Bank ....! The sources confirmed that the current Minister of Higher Education Suhail accused of corruption of currency smuggling and there is serious evidence condemning ....!

Popeye7: Thanks Delta for bringing us the latest on how corruption is being dealt with in Iraq... I have to admit that I'm surprised that Mahdi was involved...
The other 2 shown, well, we knew they were being used by Iran... Can you explain why the Kurds were willing to work with Mahdi?... They were unwilling to work with Maliki for obvious reasons... Neither were they willing to work with Abadi... Was Mahdi gotten to in the end?... Especially after setting the stage for the economic reform to take place?...
Certain things do not make sense to me... Did Mahdi allow himself to be used in order to bring out those who were hindering progress within Iraq, and not allowing reform to take place?.... So many things going on behind the scenes we do not know about... Anyway, thanks again, and God bless...

Popeye7: So both Maliki, and Mahdi were essentially keeping the Kurds happy from a financial perspective, and thus allowing them to continue to allow for Iran to run things in Iraq, while bribing elected officials within Iraq... That would explain why it was so difficult to get quorum within Iraq's parliament... CBI moving forward in order to help ensure that the people of Iraq have an opportunity to weed out corruption within their government... Looking forward to this weekend into next week...

ChrisC: IMO, if they don't get to hang someone they will never feel satisfied. Imagine if someone captured your family and slowly starved them to death and tortured them. Would you feel good if they just got fired or went to jail? I doubt it.
That article yesterday saying how low Iraq was in education, safety, desirability to live there, etc. on an international scale was appalling. Iraq was almost ready to dissolve.
These A holes had almost sucked the life out of Iraq and they need to swing. A really good parasite (evolutionarily that is) is one that isn't even noticed by the host. A really stupid one is one that sucks the life out of the host until they are dead. That is what Iran was doing to Iraq, sucking the life right out of them.
If they hadn't been so greedy, Iraq might not have complained about it or even noticed it, but that, thankfully, is not how it played out and Iraq is taking a big spoonful of wormer now.
Maliki deserves to swing for being so stupid. If I was him, I would have Ethan Hunt make me a mask and I would be living as a sherpa in the Himalayas.

Fuze: Thanks Delta, I've been writing about this obtuse plan for years. History has proven, you straighten out your Currency first, then your nation. Rather a nation is gaining independence or reforming after war. This was the first time I heard of the concept of "get your nation together, then your Currency".
Alison: Delta, I sure hope so! So far these stated "necessary conditions" for the RI to happen seem to be nothing more than wishful thinking. More of an excuse for inaction rather than a reason to proceed.

Samson: Iran: Iraqis have the right to criticize the wrong management of their country

Tehran's interim preacher, Grand Ayatollah Emami Kashani, on Friday backed Iraqi protests against what he called "the incorrect management of their country."
"There is a strong reference in Iraq, and the Iraqi people, with their consciousness and interest in the authority, managed to dispel the strife that was planned for Iraq," he said.
"The Iraqi people have the right to express their opinion and protest the high cost, and the Iraqis have the right to criticize the incorrect management of their country," he said.
