Tishwash:  An agreement between the Communications Commission and the Central Bank to activate the electronic banking system

The Media and Communications Commission discussed with the Central Bank of Iraq, on Wednesday, a memorandum of understanding on the basis of which the system will develop the electronic bank and provide technical consultations within the projects of the Dom 2025 strategic initiative.

The authority stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, "The Authority, in the presence of the head of the executive branch Ali Nasser Al-Khuwaildi, member of the Board of Trustees Salem Mashkour, technical assistant, directors of the video and audio regulation department, the comprehensive service department and the telecommunications regulatory department, discussed with the Governor of the Central Bank Ali Al-Alaq From the Board of Directors, the Dom 2025 strategic initiative has set among its priorities the development of the financial and banking sector and the contribution to the transition towards digital financial trading, as well as training and development programs for technical cadres with the assistance of the International Telecommunication Union.

Al-Khwaildi said, "The commission is keen to communicate with all institutions and the central bank in its forefront as the main pillar of the state."

Al-Khoweildi suggested "forming a joint team that takes it upon itself to develop a memorandum of understanding between the authority and the central bank to implement strategic technological programs that can benefit the rest of the sectors, such as agriculture, the economy, health, and education."

For his part, Al-Alaq stressed that "the economic and financial aspect is the most challenging in Iraq, and the electronic banking transformation will contribute to its growth, especially with the presence of 70 private banks and hundreds of exchange companies," expressing "his welcome to the authority's initiative to hold a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation in implementing vital programs On the level of Iraq. "

In turn, the Board member of the Board of Trustees, Salem Mashkour, referred to "the importance of the media in disseminating electronic banking awareness and dealing with the media in a transparent manner to establish a solid banking culture in a clear way away from ambiguity", calling the central bank to "sponsoring media campaigns aimed at spreading economic awareness and the importance of technology in its development ".

The statement indicated that "preliminary items were also discussed in the memorandum of understanding that included developing programs and applications for the banking and financial transfer system and training cadres to manage them, in addition to technological projects to support other sectors and state institutions in general. The agreement also included the establishment of projects in rural and remote areas represented in the delivery Communications services, building schools, hospitals and other service projects.   link

Vital Brad   ...with all the struggle of getting the government seated things are still moving forward in the banking sector of Iraq.  They've actually created...an international payment system through MasterCard.  It's called the Qi Card.  My question is why do they need an International payment card while their money isn't even international yet? ...Iraq isn't an internationally recognized currency...Their currency needs to be reinstated in the near future based on this technology in this card coming out...

Vital Brad  ...there's salaries from government employees that have been needing to get paid.  They're saying they can pay the salaries right on this [Qi Card].  From my understanding the salaries were supposed to be paid at the new rate that's why they haven't been paid yet because the rate is still the same.   They're saying these cards are set up to receive those salaries.  Seems like we're waiting on a rate change.  Seems like that's what the holdup is...

We did see some downward pressure in the equities market, stock market here in the US.  Hundreds of points lost again. This is on the heels of the Federal Reserve yesterday cutting interest rates by half a percentage point.

They did this to stimulate the economy because of the downward pressure in the global markets. But it had a lackluster effect and did not stimulate the economy as people thought. Some people said it was an action of panic  by the Federal Reserve.

Also, with the concerns people have with Covid 19 (Corona Virus)  the World Bank and the IMF have altered their spring meetings for the first time ever.

These spring meetings bring together central bankers and financial experts from all over the world and this year they will be doing these meetings by virtual hook-up, and internet. This is the first time ever in history that they have done this.

Tishwash: Al-Abadi sets a condition for assuming the post of prime minister of Iraq again

a spokeswoman for the victory coalition, Ayat Al-Mudhafar, revealed today, Tuesday, the position of the leader of the coalition, Haider al-Abadi, a single condition in exchange for receiving the prime minister again.

Al-Mudhafar said in a statement received by Mawazine News that the head of the coalition, Haider al-Abadi, refuses to be assigned to the prime minister if he is nominated by the political blocs.

She indicated that he would "agree to that if it was a candidacy from the people and the protesting masses." link

Tishwash:  Parliamentary finance puts fast remedies to stem the repercussions of the financial downturn

The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, on Tuesday, the development of rapid remedies to stop the repercussions of the financial decline in Iraq after the decline in oil prices.

The head of the committee, Haitham al-Jabouri, said in statements followed by / information /, that "the financial committee put in place rapid economic remedies at the legislative and executive level to stop the repercussions of the decline in the financial situation of the country and the drop in global oil prices."

He added that "the steps include the approval of plans to increase non-oil revenues in relation to tax and customs, improve the tax base, and reschedule some of the internal and external obligations of the Iraqi state."

The Chairman of the Finance Committee stated: “We agreed with the Ministry of Finance to ensure the distribution of salaries of employees and retirees and the social protection network and to continue to provide medicines and the ration card,” explaining that “the agreement also included the provision of ongoing project funds to ensure the provision of services to citizens.”

He stressed "the rescheduling of some of the internal and external obligations of the Iraqi state, to determine the debt of Iraq and to address the causes of the low customs revenue achieved at the border outlets."  link

Pimpy   ...if this rumor is true this is the type of PM we want to see go in there.  Dr.  Shabibi...When he was governor of the Central Bank he had a lot of different great relationships with the different blocks...why I would love for him to get in there is because he said this recently...although the IMF and the World Bank have implemented policies that help keep the CBI inflation really low in his opinion their monetary policies did not allow for the growth of Iraq.  He said a rate change needed to take place.  He wanted to increase the rate.  Not at the $3.20 but he is one of the guys that talked about there having to be a "sweet spot". If we can magically get this guy in there as PM I feel way positive that a rate change would happen.  I would love to see if this rumor is true.

MZ: I am told we have had delays but should be getting news this afternoon. It has been a “put up or shut up” in the banking side this week. Hearing that everybody has to put their gold on the table.

MZ: Ther are a lot of governments saying they have so many tons, banks are saying they have this much in deposits and now everyone had to ante up and show their gold. The actual solid physical amounts and verify these.

Member:  POTUS: "The Best Is Yet To Come!", why would he outward keep repeating that?, has something up his sleeve

MZ: I am being told that is what is going on now. They want this release to be completely above board. I am going to take this as absolutely good news.

MZ: Regarding CMKX and PP's…..I hear that they are  poised and ready to go..

Q: Where is your paymaster today?

MZ: My Paymaster is still on location (in Reno)  ..This is where I got the info that they are now doing a  physical gold count in the banks.

Member:  If they ever go to a GOLD STANDARD...gold will be made ILLEGAL to own...like it once was IMO...

Member:  H.R. 2558 is to define the dollar as a fixed weight of gold. Was introduced to the house May 2019....no passed yet Interesting to read the provisions of this bill.

Q: Is Iraq relevant right now?

Q: Until Iraq has a Government how can there be an RV?

MZ: I expect Iraq to come fully on board as soon as they are allowed to see the release….we will see everything come together…..the government miraculously sat….and all those issues gone….boom

Q: Do you think the uncertainty of the corona virus will hamper the redemption centers?

MZ: I was thinking this was a perfect storm to get it done…..but I guess it could …staff not wanting to go to work to be exposed?  I don’t think we should worry about it…..I think it’s a bigger scare then it should be.

Member:  Trump is allowing coronavirus fears to force the Fed to self-destruct... QE to infinity & beyond!

MZ: The Fed is scrambling for liquidity this week and we are seeing the overnight repo market…..people need more to float loans …this is the perfect storm for a reset.

Member:  How can the Federal Reserve put out money they don't have? That is what everyone should be asking? Maybe we should start our own system and do away with the Federal Reserve. Smiling.

MZ: Sam Oliver says to watch for massive credit injections this week just to hold the system up….this will create volatility in the market unless there is confidence in the system…..bond markets continue to struggle…watch for bonds to be sold off around the world. This will create a movement to lower the dollar. Looks like we are at the beginning stages of the leveling off of the currencies. What we are looking for is currencies and their relationship to gold exchange ratios to bring individual currencies into alignment to revalue.

MZ: Okie also had a good one yesterday.

OKIE: Good Afternoon America, ships at sea and all of our worldwide friends and Telegram partners.  This post is difficult to post in any type of orderly procession. The international news and concerns are rampant and seemingly out of order.

The financial order worldwide is skewed and central banks are scurrying to figure out what their next moves should be. The central banks are contacting each other and trying to make sense and order out of the chaos and implications affecting the world’s systems.  We have the influence of Corona virus, the rapid dropping of the stock markets both here in the us and international markets.

And oh yes, here is the ringer….Allowi , iraq’s Presidential nominee failed to form a government and even withdrew his name from consideration. While some may be disappointed from this news , remember it’s the CBI , the central bank of Iraq that determines the monetary value of their currency and the international value and timing of letting the rest of the world know what their international rate will be.

The last information furnished to me backs up my last post stating that there was a few days delay and not a prolonged period of time ….well, today is supposedly the last day of that time period. Regardless of all the turmoil we should not let all the negative news in the world depress us. The Global Revaluation is of such magnitude that these interferences that would normally have a negative affect may prove to be historically be just a minor inconvenience. So when doubt knocks on the door- let faith answer it…Shalom

MZ: I am hearing they are doing actual physical counts on the gold to verify the amounts banks hold. In the banking and sovereign world…..I am told that is where we are at.

MZ: I don’t know exactly what Okie is seeing……There really is a lot of things lining up for it though .

Q: Why is the fed dumping all this money into it is we are going to gold backed currency? Makes no sense.

MZ: I think it makes perfect sense. As we are positioning for the gold they need to keep the system afloat , they need to keep people from panicing….so they are injecting funds into the system because they know they will not have to pay it back….they need to keep it running until the reset happens. They are just propping it up until the reset occurs. They have painted themselves into a corner for sure though . They need to reset before the crash.

MZ: We should have a lot more news for tomorrow……will be back at 10AM est unless something big happens then I will back sooner.
