Tishwash:  Central Bank of Iraq on 'unannounced' visit to America

An informed source revealed, on Thursday, that the Central Bank of Iraq is currently making an unannounced visit to the United States of America, to discuss developments in the Iraqi banking sector. 

The source told Shafaq News Agency that a delegation from the Central Bank of Iraq, headed by the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq, and a number of general managers, have been visiting the United States of America since the 26th of this month, to discuss developments in the banking sector and the restrictions on the use of the dollar imposed on a large number of private banks. 

He pointed out that the Central Bank delegation discussed cancelling the platform at the beginning of next year, and relying on correspondent banks, which will increase the imposition of restrictions on Iraqi private banks, and completely eliminate competition in favor of Jordanian banks that have American correspondent banks. 

The source noted that the Central Bank is close to signing a contract with Oliver Wyman, the consulting firm for the Iraqi Development Road, to conduct a study on reforming the Iraqi banking sector, in order for it to be approved by the Central Bank in the coming period, and to be considered a roadmap for reforming the private banking sector. 

On the other hand, a number of economists were surprised by the lack of announcement of the visit of the Central Bank of Iraq to America, especially since it comes at a very important time.  link

Tishwash:  Parliamentary Committee: We intend to amend 10 economic laws to facilitate trade and customs procedures

 The Parliamentary Economic Committee announced today, Thursday, the existence of a project to amend about 10 economic laws, explaining that the goal is to enhance trade, facilitate customs and tax procedures, support the public and private sectors, and develop a real map for economic reform.  

Committee member Yasser Al-Hussaini said, “There is a new project that includes amendments to approximately 10 economic laws,” indicating that “the proposed amendments came after holding intensive workshops with the Businessmen’s Union and the Iraqi Businessmen’s Council, in addition to representatives from various economic sectors.” 

He explained that "these workshops aimed to absorb all visions and requirements from various economic sectors, including commercial and industrial sectors, in order to develop a comprehensive vision that achieves the required reform." 

Al-Hussaini pointed out that "the proposed project includes amendments to 10 laws aimed at enhancing trade, facilitating customs and tax procedures, and supporting the public and private sectors." 

The MP stressed that "the proposed percentage of amendments is still less than the desired level of comprehensive economic reform." 

He explained that "the committee hopes to expand the scope of the amendments to include more economic laws, reflecting the true vision of economic reform, which is not limited to meeting the requirements of the government or the private sector, but aims to develop a comprehensive vision that achieves the interests of all." 

He explained that "the law was read for the first time, and the second reading is scheduled to take place after the final vision matures through the ongoing workshops, after which the committee's report will be submitted and the law will be voted on." 

He pointed out that "this approach aims to draw a real roadmap for the long-awaited economic reform, and to ensure its compatibility with all the aspirations of the concerned parties, whether at the government or private sector level."   link

MZ: The silence in the news is eerie…This month has flown to quickly. We should have seen more money moving this month

Member: I’m thinking and feeling that all the silence ( is golden) and just out there wacky confusion is exactly the way it was supposed to be at this time.

​​Member: It's unsettling how news has gone completely silent about the RV. This eerie calm feels like the quiet before a storm, leaving us to wonder what’s brewing beneath the surface?

MZ: It definitely feels like the calm before the storm- It’s weird.

Member: I am hopeful that the much anticipated events happen this weekend.

Member: I am praying September is out month

MZ: I’m still praying August is our month.  Most of what I am being told right now is to expect it anywhere from last Monday until September 4th- somewhere in there to see us actually with appointments…we will see.  Things are quiet and crazy…..and I think the quiet is purposeful. .

 Member: how much more calmness are we in for…. asking for a friend.

​​Member: I blame the nothing burger is because of the NDA's….This is good news.

Member: if you're on a diet ….nothing burgers are good for you

Member: Is there any difference between on screen exchange rates at banks or contract rates at redemption centers ?

MZ: A redemption center is a redeeming bank. So you are going to a bank that is especially set up and has the equipment and training to exchange us. I am told there will be a difference in the fees and how much you have to pay them…their cut. But the rates should be universal.

Member: Who Cares what the exchange PLACE is called as long as THEY call ME! ha ha

Member: Where are these redeeming facilities?

MZ: We have talked about that about ten million times….They are not going to give you the exact location beforehand…It’s a security risk.

Member: I am wondering if Iraq is going to be an RV or reinstatement

MZ: There has been a grinding juggernaut of progress in Iraq. Things do continue to move.

MZ: Banking contacts say Bam, bam, bam….It’s happening right now….lots of hopeful conversations for this weekend from a number of currency groups. Bond side is eerily quiet.

Member: My currency and Bonds are longing for the loving touch of another. They have become bored being spread out, caressed, and hugged by me alone. We need the RV!

MZ: The chatter out of Iraq stays fantastic….we keep hearing stories about lower denominations in the streets but, people who are physically there say no- not yet….but that they are physically prepared for them.

Member: I wish we knew what happened with Al Alaqs trip to the US in New York and DC???

MZ: I know we are tired and worn down….but ask yourselves…Can the world continue for eternity the way it is??? Do you think this is a sustainable direction for our country and the world???  One thing that is certain is change.

MZ: What do you think replaces it? What is the logical occurrence financially?  It always corrects…..History tells us the countries with the most commodities will come out on top. We will win.

Member: the national debt goes up about 1 trillion every 100 days…We cannot sustain that!!

Member:  US net interest payments on national debt hit $861 BILLION over the last 12 months, according to the latest US Treasury report. Interest costs have nearly DOUBLED in just 2 years. Time for the reset.

Member: Remember- It is a Holiday weekend…A 3 day weekend…….This could be the one we are waiting for.

As of last Sunday Banks could no longer control our money because with the Global Currency Reset in progress, they were being converted to service agencies. That Global Currency Reset was (Allegedly) happening right now and will give People of the World gold/asset-backed currencies that trade at a 1:1 with each other. The Internet was being replaced by a new Quantum Internet which was 10,000 times faster.

MZ: We are certainly hearing that….been hearing it since Monday. The anticipation is through the roof. But it hasn’t gone yet.

Member: What are people saying that makes them believe it could be this week?

MZ: Well…I am stunned at the amount of anticipation on the currency side, which always happens on a 3 day weekend. . …..Its Thursday now and this week I really thought we would see huge numbers on Tuesday and bond folks with dollars. We did not see that. But a number of group leaders and currency test transactions that went on with some smaller groups has everybody bouncing…..

MZ: Farm claims are being paid…this is confirmed they have money in hands…..and yes- test transactions have been happening. We assume those tests are in fiat.

Member: Maybe they are positioning and then everything at once???

Member: Why do you think it’s so unbelievably quiet @MarkZ???

MZ: NDA’s might be why, and they don’t want us to know the process. And for security reasons?

Welcome everybody to the big call tonight. It is Tuesday, August 27TH  and you're listening to the big call – thanks everybody for coming in, tuning in. Thank you satellite team or Sat team for connecting everybody around the globe, which is an averaging over 17 and a half million international listeners over the last year and a half, I would say, and like we do every call, let's go ahead and welcome everybody and all of our big call universe listeners. Let's go ahead and pray the call in

So any  other last minute words Bob before we go into Intel, that's about it for tonight, Bruce, it's 1022, thank you very much. Well, I'll tell you what guys, let's go short and sweet to the Intel. You know, we've heard we've got some really good news of something that took place yesterday, starting at 930 Eastern daylight time, there was a 24 hour – around the globe  connection taking  place with the quantum financial system, connecting it to our banks and our redemption centers, and by the time it made  its way all the way around - But let me, let me back a second,

Our guys at redemption centers that we talked to yesterday tried to log on and could not log on to the Wells Fargo site. Now they were blocked out for 24 hours while the quantum financial system was being fully implemented in our redemption centers .

By 9:30 or so this morning, they were able to get back on and see the rates that were on the  screens. And we're talking redemption centers, the bank contacts we have were not able to see any rates today at all. They did not seem to come back up. They might be it by now, trying to see the rates –

Now they were able to go on and log in and use their computers for other bank needs – but were NOT able to look into currencies - all right, we talked about a number of currencies that were on the screen. Now at the redemption centers, we have 16 currencies that are up and solid with rates.

Two currencies are not there. – Still not there – and that is our new dollar, called the USN, United States Note – or United States New – that refers  to our new dollar USN and it's not on the screen.

It's been traded though, for a while on the Forex, it's not like it's not been traded. It has been, but it's not on the redemption center screen, and the other  currency that is not on is the British Pound Sterling -  the redemption center screens - yet.

Now, tomorrow might be a different game. Tomorrow, we could have both no show up, and maybe other banks. I believe this, I think the quantum financial system is very intricate and probably is taking longer than 24 hours for all banks  around the globe to actually initiate and have that QFS up.

I mean, we got tier one banks here,  tier two - tier three tier four. There's a lot more banks than there are redemption centers. And I believe that's probably why all the banks -- and remember, this isn’t the US - This is banks around the globe. They fully implement with the quantity system. So it may take a little while for that to occur – maybe they will all  be up by tomorrow. I don't know. We’ll see - I'll find out.

But that is a beautiful thing -  the place for us  and we got our redemption centers were fully implemented  in 24 hours , so they they'll that bring like that work.

All right, so what else happened today? At noon, our bondholders started to receive emails. And they're not none of that yet.

They're going to be sending emails out to bond holders at least from at least another three or four or five days. But some have, we don't have any confirmation that any of them never seen it yet, but we don't know that many bond holders, but we'll stay on top of that.

But the point is, as a continuing thing – it’s happening - . Bondholders getting their emails of liquidity - that would mean that they would get to have access to their friends once they were the email tells them day of the day later, they would have access to their accounts, and they would be able to see the accounts that they have see how much they have in their account.

 Now, let's relate that to us. Where are we? We, even though we're supposed to be on a shotgun start with bondholders in tier three, it seems like we're running a little bit behind, maybe 12 hours, maybe 24 hours behind them, all I know is we talked to a bond paymaster today that was saying that we should get This for us, our notifications, which would have our 800 numbers, or what I call toll free in the email, so that we could begin to set our appointments and begin our exchanges.

Well, the latest thing I have is that we would receive that by or before Friday. the 30th, either before Friday, the 30th.

Now it could come, and I've got another source tell us that we that received that on Thursday, so we're looking at getting something by the end of the week being Friday, one opinion from one paymaster - and I hope that's the case. We get it either Thursday or Friday. Possibly we get notified tomorrow and we set our appointments for Thursday or Friday.

But there is still, there's still more to do than meet the eye. There's more to do we are not fully aware of, especially regarding cleanup. There is more cleanup to be finished, to be accomplished. It's hard to say when that is going to be completed. We've heard an estimate, but one more day, I just don't know. Just don't know. And that's a global cleanup around the world –

Let's see what else. I just think it's going to be difficult to know exactly when this is going to go. One other said that this could take us if we don't get notified by and start exchanges on Friday, then it would go over the weekend. Well, don't forget, it's a three day weekend, with Monday being Labor Day.

Okay, so would it necessarily come to us on Saturday or Sunday? Or could it come to us today is Monday, which is Labor Day. Anything's possible. Anything is possible.

They may string this out all the way to the very end, either 30th or 31st, of August, or it could actually get into September with the concept of the weekend being a Labor Day weekend which takes us  beyond that into  September first couple of days of September, with the first banking day of September being the third, which is Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. So we'll see what happens. It's been changing every day changes, we get updates - we get new information. I didn't know that the QFS system wasn't fully integrated, but it wasn't, and as of yesterday, that was the 24 hour cycle that that was on. So things come to us that we just have to deal with. And if you've been in this a while, you know that.

So that's really what I wanted  to bring out today. I think that is everything we need to say, but it is definitely something that is moving - the QFs system, at least for the redemption centers are connected,  - that’s really good - and now we just need our emails to come into us and we can set appointments to start. Okay, so that's what I wanted to bring tonight.

Let's go ahead and pray the call out, and then we can go from there. So let's do that,   All right, guys, we'll talk Thursday. If we don't have this by then, we'll have a call. Otherwise, probably record a celebration call , God Bless you guys all and let's go ahead and turn off the recording.

A report by the British magazine "MEED" stated on Wednesday that three countries, including Iraq, had the highest number of investment contracts signed in July.

The magazine stated in a report, which Shafak News Agency reviewed, that "the Middle East and North Africa region witnessed the signing of investment deals worth $23.9 billion in July."

The report explained that "Saudi Arabia ranked first among the Arab countries by signing investment contracts worth 14.3 billion, while the UAE came in second place by signing contracts worth 4.2 billion dollars, while Iraq came in third place by signing investment contracts worth 2.5 billion dollars."

He pointed out that "Egypt awarded contracts worth $2.1 billion, Kuwait $515 million, Oman signed contracts worth $140 million, Bahrain $33 million, and Qatar $27 million."  LINK

Clare:  Dollar prices continue to decline against the dinar in Baghdad markets

The exchange rates of the US dollar fell this morning, Wednesday, in the markets of Baghdad and in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

The dollar prices witnessed a decline with the opening of the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges, recording 148,850 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars, while yesterday, Tuesday, it recorded 149,000 dinars for every 100 dollars.

The selling prices in the exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad recorded a decrease, as the selling price reached 149,750 dinars, while the purchase price reached 147,750 dinars for every 100 dollars.  LINK

As this afternoon Redemption Center screens were showing 15 different currencies with solid new live rates. There will be new currency rates on 19 different currencies including the USN. It was suspected that all 19 would be solid on the screens tomorrow Wed. 28 Aug. 2024.

The screen rates at the Redemption Centers are going to be three times higher on the Dinar and twice as high on the Dong than at a bank.

The new Rates are going to be between $4 and $7.

The contract rate on the Dinar will be offered.

Emails are going out to Redemption Center operatives at around 4:30 tomorrow afternoon Wed. 28 Aug.

Bond Holders are expecting their emails Sunday night, with access Mon. or Tues.

Tier4b notification and exchanges should start over the weekend, or by Mon. or Tues.

We will receive notification in conjunction with the EBS.

The EBS will be a cover for Tier4b to do our exchanges.

The Admiral’s Group will start Sat, Sun and Mon.

Militia Man  Obviously the budget is going to need to have an exposure of an exchange rate.  After all these months, 8 months, 9 months, 10 months, why haven't they gone international at 1310?  Why haven't they been put on the Forex at 1310 so they can...pay for all the roads, pavement, buildings, schools and try to find investors to physically come in with not a freedom of capital movement?  I don't think they're ever going to be able to do that without having a Real Effective Exchange Rate.

Tishwash:  Parliamentary Finance Committee confirms that it will soon resume its investigation into changes made to the General Budget Law tables

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that it will soon resume its investigation into changes to the general budget law tables that were officially approved by the Council of Representatives, and objected to by the Prime Minister's Office.

Committee member, MP Moeen Al-Kazemi, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ), that "the parliamentary investigation committee assigned by the Finance Committee will resume its work soon, to determine the reasons for the change in the general budget tables officially signed by the Speaker of Parliament and sent to the Council of Ministers."

He added, "The government is working with its tables approved by the Council of Representatives, and there is no financial damage to the public treasury," indicating, "The work on the general budget ceiling of 226 trillion dinars has been suspended, and the government is proceeding with implementing its tables that were approved by the Council of Representatives."

He explained, "The Parliamentary Finance Committee is following up on the reasons for the difference between the government version of the general budget tables and the paper and electronic version of the Council of Representatives."  link

The Prime Minister's Advisor for Financial Affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, explained today, Tuesday, the importance of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani's visit to Egypt and Tunisia, stressing that this visit will develop strategic partnerships and will bring economic benefits to Iraq and those two countries, in addition to serving national and regional interests.

Saleh said, in a statement to the media, followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the visit of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to Egypt and Tunisia is important, especially since they are the incubator of the Arab League in two different time periods, and they have long historical relations with Iraq."

He added that "the Prime Minister's visit to Egypt and Tunisia is of great importance from several aspects, most notably strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in the fields of economy, cultural and educational exchange," noting that "this important visit will open the way for signing economic or technical agreements or memoranda of understanding that serve the common collective interest."

He stressed that "this visit will enhance the follow-up of ways of joint cooperation, especially the development of existing projects in construction and housing undertaken by companies from the two countries, especially Egypt, in addition to enhancing trade and investment with the two sister countries, which will benefit the national economy of Iraq and those two countries, in addition to enhancing positive rapprochement between the peoples and sons of the region. Sun 25 2024 Wolverine: The Whales are receiving their appts and going to Colombia and to Reno! Tier4A funds are released. It is taking longer than expected… it is a process. All is coming through. Today or tomorrow, we will have good news for Tier4B and then the opera will be released. 

I was hoping to be under NDA today, but it is slow, but I will get that call coming through! This is about helping humanity and our families. We want to help all we can. Whatever is possible. Private contractors are now getting paid as well.  The amount of money these people are receiving fathoms the mind. Sadly, one of my huge whales in Mexico who waited a long time for this RV, has d**d in poverty, he had no money, and hopefully his assets can be passed on to his family.

Most of the whales have no money…many sold all they had to get their bonds or have lost their businesses due to world events.  I know a huge whale in Germany who lost his business and is struggling, but he has huge amounts of boxes. Not all whales are rich.

 Fortunately, my whale is well off, and I am lucky. In summary, the RV has started for bondholders and Tier4B is waiting for today or tomorrow, and today there is still time to get notifications for Tier4B. You are also seeing people getting debits released for Nesara and Gesara. Hopefully we will get good news! I think we all would like to have our debts paid off! Yellow Dragon bonds are available till our whale gets his notifications.  Send me a message if you are interested. Things are happening. Hold on.
