Al-Sadr: Freedom From The Corrupt Is The True National Day Of Iraq

Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, said on Monday that liberation from the corrupt is the true national day of Iraq.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet seen by Shafak News Agency, "Today is Iraq's National Day, so Iraq lived free, proud, independent and strong, and that Iraq's true national day is the day it was liberated from corruption and the corrupt, and the day of real reform without dependency, quotas, no experiment, no corruption, no external interference or militias." .

He continued, "Rather, it is a blessed country, neither eastern nor western, whose light almost shines from the people's age and dignity."

A Deputy Reveals The Most Prominent Laws To Be Discussed By Parliament

Al-Salihi said, "The Council, in its legislative capacity, will be a partner in this direction by approving more laws that can meet the needs of many citizens."

He added that "this session will witness a resolution of the pending laws that were previously put forward by the council," noting that "the public interest requires everyone to join forces in order to pass important laws."

Barzani said in a speech during a memorial ceremony on the anniversary of the departure of former Iraqi President Jalal Talabani in Erbil, which was followed by Mawazine News, "We now sense the void left by Jalal Talabani, as his history is an important part of the history of the Kurdish liberation movement."

He added, "Mam Jalal for me is an important memory of peace and cooperative work, as I met him for the first time when he signed on November 8, 1986 with my father (Idris Barzani) the peace agreement between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan."

He pointed out that this "peace agreement between Mam Jalal and my father was a reason for entering into public peace in Kurdistan."

He added, "Mam Jalal and President Masoud Barzani have always united in decisions and the progress and prosperity of the Kurdistan region, due to the unification of the ranks of the political forces."

Barzani said, "Today, both the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union need a new strategic agreement according to the current stage. After the strategic agreement that took place between the two parties, the manifestations of duplication of administration in the Kurdistan region decreased, and the foundations of the regional government were established, and justice spread."
