Tishwash:  Al-Moussawi: Changing the exchange rate helps the poor indirectly

The representative of the Sadiqoon bloc, Zainab Juma al-Moussawi, confirmed, on Tuesday, that changing the Iraqi dinar exchange rate helps the poor in an indirect way. 

Al-Moussawi said in a press statement, which received "The Information", a copy of it, that "the restoration of the old exchange rate means a reduction in the value of prices in the Iraqi market and indirectly helps the poor citizen to face the high prices."

She added, "Changing the exchange rate means increasing the popularity of the current government because it took an approach contrary to the previous government, which narrowed the Iraqi citizen." link

Tishwash:  A political bloc links the dollar exchange rate to the popularity of the Sudanese government

A deputy from the Sadiqoun bloc, Zainab Juma al-Moussawi, confirmed today, Tuesday, that changing the Iraqi dinar exchange rate helps the poor segment and increases the popularity of the Sudanese government.

Al-Moussawi said in a statement, followed by Mawazine News, that "the restoration of the old exchange rate means a reduction in the value of prices in the Iraqi market and indirectly helps the poor citizen to face the high prices."

The statement added, "Changing the exchange rate means increasing the popularity of the current government because it took an approach contrary to the previous government, which narrowed the Iraqi citizen."   link

CandyKisses:  Iran announces the operation of a joint oil field with Iraq

Mohsen Khojasteh Mehr, Executive Director of the National Iranian Oil Company, disclosed on Tuesday that the "Sohrab" oil field joint with Iraq is about to enter the operating phase.

He stated this during the national conference to increase the efficiency of Iranian oil and gas fields, which is being held today, according to the semi-official Iranian news agency Fars.

The Iranian oil official said that the Sohrab oil field, located in the southwest of the country, will enter the operational phase, with investments amounting to one billion US dollars.

Tishwash:  Tamim: The Ministry of Planning strongly adopts a policy of supporting and empowering the private sector

he Ministry of Planning confirmed, on Tuesday, that it has demonstrated a policy of supporting and empowering the private sector, while indicating the existence of an active private sector that is among the priorities of the current government.

A ministry statement stated, "The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, chaired the 100th session of the Contractors Classification Committee, which was held at the ministry's headquarters."

Tamim stressed, "The ministry strongly adopts a policy of supporting and empowering the private sector, as it is the main development partner in the country, because the development of the private sector creates economic stability that supports and achieves security stability."

He added, "The Prime Minister's directives emphasized addressing the problems and challenges facing the work of the private sector, especially the contracting sector, which represents one of the most important development pillars, because it undertakes the implementation of projects at all levels, and that the government's dealings with the private sector should be transparent and positive." Giving him the development space that is commensurate with his capabilities and the economic potential available to him.

He continued, "Work is currently underway to automate all activities and works related to the classification of contractors, to reduce friction with employees, expedite the completion of procedures related to the issuance of classification identities, and address the problems of listing in the blacklist," noting that "the electronic system for classifying contractors, which was completed by the Ministry of Planning is a pioneering work that has contributed to addressing many problems, but it still needs further development, and this is what the Ministry is currently working on, in the context of completing the e-government requirements.”

The Minister of Planning stressed the "importance of the work of the Contractors Classification Committee, which includes representatives of the relevant authorities," calling on its members to "keep on regular meetings, because its work is related to the classification and listing process."

He continued, "Any delay in completing the procedures for contractors and contracting companies would negatively affect the implementation of projects, and the failure to meet the services provided to citizens."

He concluded, "The presence of an effective private sector is a first priority among the current government's priorities, and there will be many policies and practical procedures that support and develop this sector link
